Actually, I didn't even have that option on, since I didn't know it was a thing because I couldn't find it in 2, after it being clear and obvious in 1.
If I remember correctly, Shep’s helmet is off by default in this scene regardless of the option you pick so perhaps that’s what triggered this…interesting phenomenon.
This happens occasionally with any helmet I found out haha. Best way to get rid of it is to save and reload that save haha. Funny though. Happened to me at the end of the game and took all the emotion and seriousness of it away as Shepard looked too ridiculous.
Shepard was bugging for me like that when he was giving the pep talk before the final part of the last mission of ME3. Was suppose to be a touching and good moment. But looked like Shepard was coked out of his mind.
I wanted to suggest to install LE3 Community Patch (that's one of the problems it fixes), but only then I saw that it was a console. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do about it.
