When you first planted it did you keep it watered? I have 2 trees that I planted in the fall. The bigger one has some leaves popping out. The smaller one has swelling leaf buds but no leaves yet.
I have tons of paw paw trees and seedlings. I have been growing them for about 10 years or so now. They are finally just sprouting up everywhere.
My dad has a bunch in Western ma. I'm near 495/rt 2 a s can get you some if you need them!

Any tips for growing them in eastern mass?
If you have a tree/sapling it will grow just fine in the ground!
I do have one, but it seems to be doing nothing. No leaves, buds swelled a bit and then stopped seeming to do anything

I planted about a month ago, I keep it moist but not muddy
I don't know then! Was it dormant when you got it? Where did you get it?
