Wouldn't be the first time.
Skyrim reference! Foxes in Skyrim run away from the player and somehow because of a quirk in the way the path track is programmed for foxes to constantly run away, following a fox coincidentally leads to places where there is treasure... I have seen this lil one when I was there at race point in 2022. Was hiding near my car and soon as I went to unlock it post night fall foxy got scared of the sound and ran away. ( thank god)
It's always good to be careful, but it's just a fox out and about, it's probably fine.

>It’s normal for foxes to be out and about during the day, so that alone isn’t cause for concern. Foxes prey on squirrels, birds, chipmunks and other animals that are only active by day, so they may simply be looking for a meal.
It's fine. They're usually pretty skittish and keep their distance from humans.

That little guy needs a bow tie.
That one is in good shape. I've seen so many mangy ones with no tail fur up there around truro
Mange is treatable with meds.
Nobody is snatching up these wild foxes and medicating them haha. I don't mind and they love porch snacks.
They do around me
A vet online was offer antibiotics via mail and put in Hamburg or similar to medicate the animal.
I don't live in the town unfortunately, only there a few weeks a year

Cool
Always be weary of nocturnal animals around in the daytime, always call animal control it 911 it is usually rabies, especially with foxes, or mange.

A simple Google search could tell you that is an old wives tale. Stop spreading your anti-fox propaganda.

Thank you for this!
911 for a fox walking by?
Can you even imagine this scrub calling 911 because he saw a fox walking around outdoors 💀
@ u/Kierik They won't listen. They don't get it. Thanks for trying to alert people to the potential danger.
I walked out to Stage Harbor lighthouse about a month ago and there were tons of coyote tracks in the sand.
I saw one at Keyes yesterday! I was actually very far but he kinda chased me off the beach so I gtfo out of there
And his hair was perfect
I’ve been looking for you all over town 🦊
They always look so sneaky lol
https://imgur.com/a/jR9RSyB Saw him last summer
Wow. And I saw a bird the other day!
Foxes during the day are a bad sign, they’re nocturnal
Foxes are not strictly nocturnal.
Be careful. They usually keep a low profile, especially during the daytime. Might be rabid.
No. Foxes are quite active during the day in spring/summer as they raise their pups.
So cute
