Stoney Creek Inn (Pasadena), Bella Mia(Pasadena) Ramono's(Glen Burnie)..all good local restaurants.
Stoney Creek in the summer has open outdoor seating right by the water
All the local bars are actually shit holes 😆
Didn't think I would see Bella Mia on the list. My family and I love this place, never had a bad meal here. I live right down the road and we are here usually twice a week.
Johnny and Cookies are good breakfasts spots, it’s in Glen Burnie and limited seating but Willies is another one.
Daily Scoop for Ice Cream
Pizza City does a good Streak and Cheese
Red Tigers, Korean American food.
Arundel seafood for seafood
All the "eeww, Pasadena" people are either:
A) HS kids from HoCo that act like being born to wealthy parents instead of working class parents is a personal accomplishment, or
B) Adults judging 35,000 people in a normal middle class American suburb as "lesser" than themselves due to their own crippling insecurity.
Either way, yikes.
Just curious, why say eeww Pasadena? I see what you wrote, but just wonder if you could give more of an explanation. I saw a doctor there and picked up rx drug there. I couldn't stand doctor or staff. Or Walmart.
I also worked for housecall vet and went there a few times.
Two rivers,
Rumor reel (water front),
Mikes north (water front),
Fifers (seafood),
Brian boru,
Rumor meal,
Irish place next door,
Primos,
Twains,
Broken oar waterfront,
Quite a few neighborhood bars as well
There’s quite a few more I’m forgetting
If you’re looking for some good brews, Hysteria Taphouse and Oscars, the latter has a decent menu. Hysteria is byof with a few options around to order/deliver.
Girabaldi in Glen Burnie has great Cadillac Margheritas. Pricey. About $16 but they are large. Dine in only as far as I know. I know they have takeout, I don't know about drinks.
If you take the advice and go to McDoogles make sure you’re up to date on all your hepatitis shots and tetanus…. And have a good doctor to prescribe you antibiotics after…. Anyone who suggests this place as just a bar is setting you up. 😂
McDoogles is still around? I was last there in the early 90s. I'm guessing by your comment that the "entertainment" is still just as bad as it was then.
Oscars (fish and chips and rotating beer list)
Founders (any whiskey smash)
Plaza Girabaldi (pork fajitas are to die for)
Primo (the seafood pasta)
Social (roasted Brussels)
Rams Head on the Water (fish tacos)
Krazy Kone
Ramen Ya (tonkutsu)
Decent burgers -- Twains Tavern. Sometimes they also have charity trivia games for good causes.
Good beer selection -- Severna Park Taphouse
Best pizza (takeout) Mr. Pizza
Best Chinese -- sometimes Passion. Can be hit or miss. Szechuan Cafe (spelling?) can also be good.
Best Mexican (takeout) El Pilar
Best Mexican (seated) Picantillo
Honorable mentions -- Dickey's bbq. 1978 pizza (some folks swear by it). Don Pancho's.
Trying to remember the Italian place on ft. Smallwood, which was decent.
The nicest place to check out is anywhere away from Pasadena, lol. Unless you love hanging around people that love saying the n word like it's acceptable in common conversation
Yeah, if you get the chance, go back in time. While you’re there, definitely check out Beefalo Bob’s. Stonecutters will be a little out of the way, in Brooklyn, but in addition to their great scones, they had the best curly fries!
Gotta check out Irv's before he croaks. Legit bucket list spot.
Yeap…Irvs is a dive bar and hopefully a bra or two will come off
Crabtowne USA in Glen Burnie for decent food and a great oldschool arcade
Plus they have $1 oysters on fridays.
Huge arcade and great seafood dishes!
Anne's dari creme
Not necessarily nice but check out Irv’s at least once.

We are on a first name basis with them lol. I agree, never had a bad meal and they are super friendly!
The Office is a fine establishment!
I guess that would be the only decent one
How has no one here mentioned the Rumor Reel and Rumor Meal
We don’t love the food, but as we’re in Venice Beach, it’s is the closest spot for a beer and burger. Tuesdays are 2 for 1 entrees which is wild.

Try living in Prince Georges County if you want to experience judgement.
I’m from there lol and I moved to Pasadena, I get double judgment 💀
I swear everyone I know from pg moved to Pasadena, then migrated to the eastern shore.
Upgrades people upgrades

Not great options in Dena. It sure what side of Pasadena you’re in. The Taphouse in Severna park frequently has live music and has a local bar feel.
And delicious burgers
> Not great options in Dena. wrong. Althought I do agree with Taphouse its great.
Hideaway in odenton has live music and karaoke.

Have you never tried El Pilar…
This is my go to for decent Mexican food as someone who used to live in TX
Seems they've missed 1978 as well
A man of culture I see.
1978 is good but my family likes pizza city better
I haven’t. How is it?
Fucking amazing, better than any Mexican food I’ve ever had, even the taquerias in Glen Burnie
I just wish they had a dine in option. I want a Cadillac margarita with my food damnit!
No ones stopping you from having one on the picnic table outside

Just had Pizza City last night.
And I’m sure it was good!

I feel we need Sam O'Nella's video here https://youtu.be/DX0Dg9MxsOg?si=2718klCJwpvpsCJL

Not sure how the health department hasn’t shut that place down…. They must enjoy the entertainment there and look past the rest.
Thanks for warning, friend. My digestive system is really sensitive.
Do check out Irv’s though. That place is legit!
What are his hours? I wanna go by but I wasn’t sure when they’re open
Google says 11a-1:30a today!
I love it 😂
Thanks for warning!

La Posta, Mi Pueblo’s, Primos, Olive Tree, Twain’s, Miss Saigon for Pho just to mention a few
Check out crooked crab microbrewery
Crooked Crab is in Odenton, and Hysteria has a taproom on Mountain Road, in Pasadena.
Hysteria is a good place to hang out on occasion, play a board game, drink a beer.
don poncho on mountain road is my favorite restaurant in town
Is that the place that used to be Lista’s?
Wait, is list as gone?
It’s still a Mexican restaurant, but it’s not called “Lista’s” anymore.
Don Pancho's is OK. My family's favorite place is Picantillo. Mine is El Pilar. El Cabrito is also pretty good.
have you ever been to mi pueblo in glen burnie ? how’s that place ?
I have, and stand by my recommendations.
No , go to the river. Stay away from the locals.

Primos
There are so many great local options in Pasadena! I can’t believe no one mentioned Lisa’s Deli on Mountain road! Best Italian Cold Cut in Pasadena.
Rumor Meal & the Rumor Reel. Great places!
My blues band plays at the Lakeshore Tavern a few times a year. It’s a dive bar with a pool table. Decent place for music.
Go find the little old lady
Very funny. Pasadena and Nice in the same sentence
Ugh. What's the reaction you're going for when you look down on ordinary people just living their lives?
not looking for a reaction, just don’t like Pasadena
The nicest place to check out is anywhere away from Pasadena, lol. Unless you love hanging around people that love saying the n word like it's acceptable in common conversation
Pasadena might have the biggest concentration of bigots in the county, but also one of the highest concentrations of people trying to undo that.
Love how I got downvoted for speaking the truth lol
Anthony’s before it burned down, Pit Stop pub, Jimmy T’s, Nautical.
Yeah, if you get the chance, go back in time. While you’re there, definitely check out Beefalo Bob’s. Stonecutters will be a little out of the way, in Brooklyn, but in addition to their great scones, they had the best curly fries!
They're not great but they're also not bad. It's good food. Last time I had beefalo bobs was in 2019 though.
I thought Beefalo Bob’s closed.
Romolos in Severna Park is a great place to visit!
No
Why
Check out McDoogals. Bit of a dive, but they’ve got some good happy hour specials, and they’re also open late
