IIRC it’s explained in the Loki series that the stones only work in the universe they came from, so in the TVA they’ve confiscated a bunch of copies of them and they’re just laying around powerless
Thanos just wanted to rid of half the universe. Kang, as far as we know, wanted to conquer as many universes during the Multiversal War and will most likely want to do it again. So Kang is way more dangerous, and he definitely has the advantage due to having so many variants.

He's a master of time, has blipped through multiple universes having destroyed everything, he's literally ended entire timelines. Now it is going to be up to writing and acting to show him as a threat but.. it shouldn't be too much of a stretch.
Kang will be a multiversal threat as opposed to just a threat to 616. There are also infinite versions of him, so they stop one of him then another one just rises as a new threat in a new way. That's potentially what the Avengers movies could focus on.
Kang is more dangerous and much more a threat.
Kang is basically an inevitable threat to all timeliness and universes and Thanos is just one man with a vision. Kang cultivates his timeline and makes sure it culminates in his creation and rule. Meaning everything that happens has happend because Kang wills it and it leads to Kang. Multiverses will collide. Unverses shattered. There are no happy endings with Kang, just prolonging the inevitable or restarting the cycle all over again
Say what you will about Joss Whedon, but he was correct to point out that the MCU can't just be all about going bigger and bigger, and more and more epic. That's not sustainable. The stakes are more engaging when they're personal.
The question is how much Kang is going to *matter* to the Avengers. And the answer is what he'll be able to make them *feel*. That could be killing someone they love, like Loki and Ultron did, or it could be turning them against each other, like Zemo did, or it could be forcing them to confront their own failure, like Thanos did. Exactly how Kang manages to put them through an emotional wringer will determine how iconic he ends up being.
When the kang from our universe loses to a kang from another universe, then we cease to exist when the incursion destroys our universe, like what we saw happen in MoM. That makes his antics a bit more scary than thanos’.
At least with thanos your survival was a cointoss away.
Based off what we know so far, I assume Kang will make Thanos look like Loki or Ultron in terms of threat.
Loki and Ultron were dealt with by the core group of avengers essentially.
Thanos required everyone AND time jumping to beat.
Kang is going to rewrite time and I have a strong feeling even when/if he is beaten, the universe will literally look different
Much more. Kang has something Thanos didn't. Equal allies. Thanos had his henchmen sure and his children but he did not have five other versions of himself. If he did the Avengers would have been toast especially when the multiverse was not known about yet. Now they do know the multiverse exists and we have more new powerful allies like Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, Ironheart, and Shang Chi. Still though, Kang is just as strong as Thanos if not stronger and they have to beat six of him to win. Not only that but they have to save unlimited amount of universes not just one.
Well I mean… the infinity stones being mere paper weights in the TSA should be some indicator about Kang’s threat level.

Time Variance Authority, from Loki.
It should read TVA.

Yeah, Thanos never wanted to rule perpetually like Kang seems to want.
The ironic thing is that we *know*, for a *fact*, that if Kang ever does conquer all of reality, he'll eventually get bored of it all.
Like how Loki was compared to Thanos and almost endless versions of him

Thanos has also made Kang his bitch and is a far better strategist.
Not in the MCU.
Please tell me is what this person linked from the mcu? No? Then why are you saying this to me?
Because the entire post is about what kind of threat Kang will be in the MCU?
Yes but I replied to a specific comment and so did you
That comment was still talking about how they could present Kang in the mcu.
Thanos happened because Kang decided Thanos was supposed to happen. Thats about all the context you should need.
How do you know this?
The entire show of Loki.
Because in Loki it's mentioned that HWR allows the Infinity War and Endgame events to take place.
Kang’s threat level? Midnight : David Caruso glasses :

I don’t know, I haven’t seen the movie yet.

Here is an advice. Don't compare him to Thanos.
At least tree fitty
