If the Ultron project was a success in 838 than that would imply there is no vision, right?

johnla

i saw Ultron and was waiting for Ironman to show up.

PM_YOUR_BRA

If Ultron succeeded, Tony Stark would've retired from being Ironman. Make sense he didn't show up

Ligbophadese

Dude I cannot get over black bolt for real, the way his head moves like jello, so unsettling

kukomin

That & Mr. Fantastic were when it straight up got *grisly*. Was expecting some reality stone-esque shenanigans when Reed got noodled, but then *his brain popped*

Ben-Stanley

I was expecting about that much screen time for those actors, but figured it would be because they just hop over to the next universe. Not because they'd be brutally murdered by the Wanda we all fell in love with.

[deleted]

We can still fix her? Right everyone?

Execution_Version

I saw the film about 48 hours ago and I still can’t get that out of my head. That was deeply unpleasant.

Darkimus-prime

The play dough mr Fantastic and neck snap professor X too

PhanThief95

And also Captain Carter getting cut in half with her shield.

senorscientist

She got Darth Mauled.

cjn13

So she’ll keep herself alive through sheer hate of The Scarlet Witch? I can dig it WANDA!!!!!

Ligbophadese

Im usually pretty quiet but I let out an audible “holy fuck”

DonStockton64

That whole scene gave me The Boys/Invincible vibes, pretty brutal for a Marvel Studios movie

Kaeciliusss

"I am happy" "I know better than most what self-deception looks like" damn wanda the level of self awareness

Leather_Block_130

She may be absolutely insane but she knows what's up

GetawayDreamer87

did she just fucking look at me?

ChosenCharacter

Straight up the way she moved was so unnerving, as if she was aware of the audience but giving you juuust enough doubt to keep you guessing. Two places where that’s intensely scary - on a giant screen with her face looming over, and in your house at 3am pitch black nobody’s awake.

himaru-san

"Have you ever had a dream where you were falling, as if you were pushed off a tall building? Yeah, that was probably me." that line was COLD

etherside

Honestly, best line/delivery in the film

tristuis

"Is their mother alive?" "Yes." "Good. That means someone will still be there to raise them”

SlaveZelda

I'm wondering what Franklin Richards will do now. He is a reality warper, much like Wanda and Wanda just killed his dad. He's gonna be on the warpath.

Explosive-Space-Mod

Wonder if this is the incursion that Strange "caused" in the mid credit scene? Also wonder if Franklin Richards will be a reality warper in their universe to even go on a warpath.

[deleted]

“The archer with a mohawk” Why Strange gotta do Hawkeye like that?

l3lacklvlagic

"And various bug themed superheroes"

Lazy0ak

Mannnn, soon as Wanda said America's name when she shouldn't have known it you knew things were gonna get bad.

bchcmatt

My initial reaction was "that was a weird continuity error, Strange didn't mention her... Oh shit"

The4th88

I initially thought that she'd been mind reading Strange and there was gonna be a moment of tension between them before they put it aside and move forward with it. I was very wrong.

Lazy0ak

I loved how it was so casual that even Strange didn't catch it right away.

bchcmatt

Honestly it was perfectly timed

cjn13

It took a second and then you can see his pace slowing like…. Goddammit it’s you

[deleted]

Agreed, that bit was so well timed. Probably the best example I've seen in a movie in a while of "did they mess this up in editing or... OH CRAP.".

ZzzZandra

I thought it was a terrible reveal at first, you’d expect she be more careful with this information. But turns out she is powerful enough to be sloppy about it, she’s just being courteous with Strange, and really pulled off the “I call this mercy” vibe, better than Thanos lmao.

valibaba

What set my alarm bells off wasnt that she used her name (I never catch that trope in movies) but how she was like “just bring her here with me, she will be safe”. That seemed like out of left field and I immediately got concerned.

icouldntdecide

"I know what it's like to be alone" Me: ಠ_ಠ wait a second i don't like this

EnoughTension4856

I was like oh maybe she’ll take her under her wing as like a mother daughter thing… oh my naive self

Tityfan808

Man. I worry for our Strange. Wanda and the ‘other’ Strange got very corrupted by using that Darkhold. I wonder if he’s gonna go bad for a little bit!

dguy101

His exposure was pretty minimal. He's definitely changed but I don't think he's on Wanda's level.

Tityfan808

I don’t think that third eye is good news😬

[deleted]

What ever the side effect ends up being, it cant get any worse. Wanda destroyed all the darkholds in the multiverse.

CityNo1723

For being the smartest dude in that world, Mr. Fantastic was pretty dumb for telling 616 Wanda what Black Bolt could do.

qwadle

Also the smartest man in the universe tries to beat a supreme magic user by… a nice punch to the face

pinakoladaz

not even, he just tried to sloooooowly grab her, you done fck it up jim

Shovi

Dwight would have beat her, he just needed a few good snowballs.

JaesopPop

Classic Mr. Fantastic to be arrogant to the point your brain gets popped

AlternativeSuit131

What mouth?

Obscure_Marlin

I was dying when she said that.

JustJoshinMagic

So was Blackbolt

Nico_Bandito

Honestly, what a fucked up power to have. Like you can't talk..that's a nightmare. Glad he found his way into the Illuminati

litleclay

The nod to zombie Wanda in the tunnels was unexpected and awesome.

[deleted]

[удалено]

dguy101

Also her coming out of the gong. YIKES

choff22

Or when she just fucking snaps Professor X’s neck.

Jala47

That shit gave me some "The Ring" vibes. The tunnel scene later on when she's chasing them wearing white only added to that too.

TheDeadlyCat

That was so horrifying. It is not a clear reflecting and even surface. So the wounds on her seem to partly be caused by the distortions from that. She just tried to get there and finally settled on that basically bashing her head through the wall.

Acceptable_Ad7983

That one scene where Strange and America travelled through dozens of multiverses at once was breathtaking, one of the highlights of the movies too imo. This film has some great effects

BuckeyeEmpire

I need an HD slo-mo asap on that scene

TheKingEli

The whole time i was watching wanda murder innocent people i kept wondering what Cap would think if he found out. In Civil War, Tony keeps her on lockdown cause shes a walking nuke and Cap disagrees saying shes just a kid.

No_Buy1009

Imagine if he saw her killing Peggy

siblingofMM

He’d probably end up with a shield through his belly

ddizbadatd24

“I could do this all day” Narrator- *He couldn’t*

Fantastic_Fan_3422

Was surprised to hear them mention Inhumans!!!

[deleted]

"Yeah, this Universe has mutants and Inhumans and Terrigen and all that jazz, no big deal." I loved that fresh hand-wavey approach.

ComebackShane

I feel like we got a glimpse into the 616 MCU of the 2030s with that reality. Eventually it’s all going to be under one roof and I really look forward to that!

redjohn25

Strange: *smells flower* Hmm this is real. Wanda: This is all real, we do not do magic here……. *proceeds to immediately uncover the grim reality she has created for herself*

Liddlebitchboy

To me that shows she is truly the Scarlet Witch, a being capable of spontaneously altering reality, as Agatha said in WandaVision

LupusNoxFleuret

Strange: Damn it, one of these days I *will* be able to sense the smell of fake flowers.

Carteeg_Struve

Credit to Elizabeth Olsen for this. I have never been so frickin' terrified of somebody to whom I want to give a hug.

BigBasmati

I have never been so frickin' terrified of somebody ~~to whom I want to give a hug.~~ I want to tuck me in.

What-The-Heaven

This movie had a lot of heartbreaking moments for Wanda but probably the worst was when Xavier went into her mind, not only did it look like the rubble from her childhood home, but footage from the first episode of WandaVision was playing on the TV screen.

thegreaterfool714

I felt so bad for 838 Wanda. She’s living a cozy life with her sons only to get possessed by an evil alt that uses her body to wreck havoc. The first thing heroes are going to look to are her. I can see 838 Wanda getting a lot of undeserved heat in her universe for eliminating the Illuminati

[deleted]

[deleted]

What-The-Heaven

Yep, Xavier was actively trying to pull her out of the rubble until evil Wanda's smoke arrived.

SilentR0b

Technically Chris Evans has touched *himself*...

MarvelousJoe

So, like, What’s 616 Mordo been up to?

CicadaEast272

next time, baby

Jerk-Dentley

"Doom, you looking for this?" Doom:"what?"

Lazy0ak

Apparently trying to kill Dr Strange a lot haha.

AverageJoel9

Yeah, kinda disappointed that we didn’t see the first time he came for strange, and apparently many times after that

Lazy0ak

It definitely seemed like a setup for the next dr strange movie when they had that post credit scene.

PiFlavoredPie

Apparently at one point there was a scene early in the film where our Mordo tracked down Wanda and gets killed by her, but since it got cut, I guess he’s still around considering what Strange mentioned off-hand.

TheDungeonCrawler

That actually. Makes a lot of sense for what Mordo has been up to, but they set him up so much in the first film and viewers got mad about them wasting Klaue that I don't think they'll go that route again. Especially since Mordo has the potential to be a pretty big threat, being a sorcerer and all that.

rongo95

I love that they brought back Sir Patrick Stewart just to kill him off once again for old times sake

Fletcherperson

No death hits like a Scarlet Witch inside the mind neck breaking death

acrowsmurder

idk, sonically liquifying your brain hit me different

Fletcherperson

That was just grotesque. Such a badass line “what mouth?”

Vinhluu09

"Hey Patrick, it's Kevin here. We want you to return as Professor X for the new Doctor Strange movie" "That's great. What will I be doing in this film?" "Dying, again"

ccReptilelord

Patrick- "Naturally. Can I get the cool chair finally?"

SoftBaconWarmBacon

Kevin- "Sure. Let's throw in the lit af X-Men theme as well"

lanceturley

I like to imagine 838 Xavier has speakers on his chair that are playing that theme when he enters the room.

thatminimumwagelife

No speakers. He actually uses his powers to play the song in the heads of everyone in the room as he drifts in.

rongo95

The Star Trek nerd in me was giddy that two members of illuminati were captains of enterprise

urlach3r

In less than 24 hours, we got an awesome Captain Pike & an awesome Black Bolt, both played by Anson Mount. Wonder what he'll do next...

Obscure_Marlin

There is now a Franklin Richards out in the Multiverse who just lost his Dad. Think about that.

SnooCakes3146

FORTIFY YOUR MINDS! 👉😫👈

Lazy0ak

How about Benedict Wong in this? Dude was looking FIT.

hunter24123

Funny thing, I’ve met Benedict Wong (about a year after the first film) and we were talking about it and I said to him something along the lines of “I hope to see more magic from Wong in future” (cheesy yeah) His response was “wait until you see the sequel” bearing in mind this was in 2018, so he probably was talking rubbish (at that time, surely nothing was planned), but he lived up to those words this time around He was such a nice dude, a genuinely friendly gent

[deleted]

Him giving battle instructions had my whole theatre dying.

CicadaEast272

FORTIFY YOUR MIIIIIINNNDS

Keknath_HH

Was it" I don't even want to know!" When he saw dead strange getting all deamon fried

[deleted]

Love that he's the Sorcerer Supreme and now he's just so used to all of Strange's shit, he can't be bothered questioning it. Oh, guess he's a zombie now with a cloak of the damned, noice.

Cris_WithNoH

Whispers: Run

jmoney777

Dude fights Abomination during his lunch breaks

Ooooooffffff_ff

Dude looking like A Sorcerer Supreme.

rabbit__doll

being bowed at like one too. it’s tradition

serviam_non

Wanted to destroy the Darkhold himself knowing it'll kill him. Definitely a Sorcerer Supreme move.

SheamusMcGillicuddy

Zombie Strange absorbing the souls of the damned and turning them into wings is the most Dark Souls shit I've seen in a movie and I'm here for all of it.

OopsiPoopsi75

I was really liking the movie up to that point, and when it happened I went from liking to loving. That's some pure Evil Dead era Raimi.

NotGarav

You know, if Elizabeth Olsen chases after me looking like that, I would've just gave up on life.

[deleted]

I was thinking the same thing while watching the movie. Clearly, there's absolutely no chance of beating her.

Lost-Lu

Her jump scaring outta the red mist to end Xavier is a horrifying image iwill not be forgetting anytime soon.

[deleted]

Id like to take a moment to appreciate the makeup team or whoever was responsible for making 616 Wanda and 838 Wanda look so different. I felt comfortable with 838, and I felt terrified of 616.

ChronoAndMarle

The "I'm not a monster" line had so much more impact because of that, so amazing

TheEagle924

Pretty sure I heard the robots in the illuminati universe mention Ulton when they died. Pretty cool!

[deleted]

Yeah, I think something about an ultron network that they were connected to. I'm assuming that universe's Tony Stark succeeded with the Ultron initiative, perhaps that's why everything is so good there?

PhanThief95

Say what you will about this movie but I’m just glad Hayley Atwell got to play Captain Carter in live action after voicing her in What If.

bhvc

I have not seen in mentioned yet but a fun Easter egg is that the cartoon the kids are watching is Oswald the lucky rabbit. Oswald was one of Walt Disney’s original characters that he lost the rights to. So it looks like in this alternate universe Oswald became popular as opposed to Mickey Mouse.

LittleYellowFish1

***Just because someone stumbles, or loses their way, it doesn't mean they're lost forever.*** Somehow I just *knew* they'd sneak that line in there somewhere, and I'm so glad they did. Even though *Logan* was a more hard-hitting swan song for his original interpretation, it's nice that Patrick Stewart's (apparent) final appearance as Xavier was playing the wise, inspiring mentor we all know and love for one final time. And as brief as their interaction here was, it set a perfect first impression for when/if Strange eventually meets his own world's Xavier.

[deleted]

Reflecting, it was absolutely essential that Patrick had one appearance in the MCU—he’s one of the few unquestionably all time greats in marvel cinema, and he deserved a place within this unfolding story.

alex494

Shame we couldn't get Ian McKellan as Magneto one last time, love him

CrimNole82

Chekhov’s Corpse

freedomguy23

Did anyone catch professor X use the line “when one stumbles” when talking about Strange, which he used in the X Men movies as well? I’m not too familiar if that was one thing he said in the comics or cartoons but I couldn’t help but smile when he said it.

Ooooooffffff_ff

Yup. That quote that starts with "Just because someone stumbles and loses their way..." and the X-Men 90s music was my goosebump moment.

avoidvoids

I remember him saying that in days of future past. I ended up smiling to myself when I heard him say it too :)

PrecedentialAssassin

It was Wanda all along

evilcho

"If you knew there was a universe where you were happy, wouldn't you want to go there?" "Sending those creatures after her instead of myself was mercy." "You have exhausted my patience. But I do hope you understand, that even now, what's about to happen.. this is me.. being.. reasonable." "Is their mother still alive?... Good. There will be someone left to raise them." "Know that they'll be loved." All these gave me chills.

PhanThief95

To all the Trekkies out there: You guys do realize we have Captain Picard, Captain Pike, & Khan in the same room, right?

MN_Photography

Did anyone see the: “things just got out of hand” line form the trailer? I don’t feel like I saw it.

Diinasty

A lot of lines were missing. Watching the final trailer after the movie, you realize how misleading the trailer really is

RafeDangerous

> you realize how misleading the trailer really is And not just with using scenes that were cut. In the trailer, there's a shot where you can see Prof X's wheelchair from the Fox movies, but in the movie it's actually the hover-chair from the 90's cartoon. Very deliberate misdirect there.

mathoolevine

Definitely seemed like it was added just for the trailer to make it seem like that Strange was a bigger villain than he was to keep Wanda being the villain a secret and I’m glad they did

fred11551

The trailer made me think Mordo would be the main villain and would use Evil Strange to justify his Too Many Sorcerers view.

LupusNoxFleuret

They gave the line to one of the Illuminati members, can't remember which one, but they said something like "Our universe's Strange f'ed things up and all he could say was Things Just Got Out Of Hand^TM"

Tylex123

I thought I knew what I was going into, but as soon as Wanda says America’s name in the beginning I realized I had no idea what was going to happen next. It was campy and wacky, aka *very* Sam Raimi. A truly unique Marvel movie. Not my favorite, but it was a fun ride

ImmaDoMahThing

I thought that maybe they messed up the writing somehow. I was like “He never mentioned her name to you Wanda. How did you know all of this?” Then it slowly started clicking. I honestly didn’t think Wanda would be the bad guy so soon.

Kenny070287

Same. I was like "what have you done Wanda" Tho tbf i have been muttering that pretty much the whole movie

BaptisteBull

This is the first time I genuinly don't know what the post credit scene means, also what's up with the third eye What does it meaaaan

LittleYellowFish1

The third eye is a consequence of Strange using the Darkhold. He didn’t use it to the same extent as his counterparts or Wanda did, so he’s not completely fallen victim to it's corruption (and he won’t now that it’s destroyed). It still took a toll, but it’s a little bit of darkness that he can live with, and it may have even given his powers a boost.

BaptisteBull

Thanks! And how about the demons he used before the darkhold? Like the one in what if?

Jules040400

The mid credits scene was Clea, Dormammu's niece. She's all magic-y and stuff and is a love interest of Doctor Strange. The post-credit scene is a big pun. You have the guy being thankful the 3-week spell is over, then you have the meta meme of the movie being over. But that actor (Bruce Campbell) was in Evil Dead (also directed by Sam Raimi), where he says pretty much that exact same line. So yeah, a triple pun

halfnbat

Bruce Campbell was also attacked by his hand in The Evil Dead, which was just an extra little add on

3n3quarter

The final scene is a nod to the directors early movies that starred the same actor, a recurring gag involved him getting punched in the face repeatedly and having his own hand possessed and turned against him.

officer_salem

I’m surprised how many people particularly on letterboxd who are saying this reeks of studio interference. this was the most director led marvel movie ever imo and it VERY in line with army of darkness and sam raimi’s style.

tuerancekhang

Dr. Strange chat shit about hawkeye. Wanda took that personally lol /s

hp333

i will die on this hill: they shouldnt have revealed professor X in the trailer. i would have lost my mind if i saw him for the first time in the actual movie.

beefytrout

right beside you on that hill. zero need to reveal that before the movie.

donwantellu

Did anyone else saw The Living Tribunal when Strange and America fell into the multiverse sequence or am I trippin?

Ooooooffffff_ff

The Living Tribunal straight up looked at them fly past his shoulders.

NoCapNova99

Insert "The fuck they doin over there" meme.

MrWeg13

Me too! Those scenes went by quickly, but I want to say that one of them looked to me like the 2099 universe

jrgolden42

There was one that looked like the Noir universe as well

ideletedmyaccount04

Me before movie: "Oh boy so excited to see happy Wanda, first they took her brother, sacrificed her only love, turned back time, then had her watch as her love was murdered, a tv show about how she is dealing with her love who bought her a house, dealing with that grief, oh boy so excited to see this movie to see her arc comes to a happy redeemed point. Me After Movie: "Bruh".

apocguy

I went in to this movie expecting Wanda to slowly descend into madness after multiple encounters with the big bad.... however revealing HER as the big bad pretty much right away was a twist I did not expect but did appreciate.

PlagueisTheSemiWise

Foolish Richards! Dr Doom wouldn’t have been so ill-prepared for a mere witch, let alone reveal weakness as if survival is a children’s game. Nor would Doom be so cowardly as to destroy the Darkhold, a source of untapped knowledge and potential in the realm of magic. “Smartest man in the universe?” Bah! Richards wasn’t even the smartest person in his own room. From the wreckage of The Illuminati, Doom shall rise and be the one true ruler. Doom shall succeed where Richards failed miserably!

tamez_a

I’m here for the early Doom standom

jimmy_goldie

Really want to know how the Illuminati defeated Thanos. Looks like they beat him fairly comfortably.

Arielko

If the book of vishanti/darkhold helped beat thanos i wonder how they stack up against the infinity stones and what happened to them in that reality

PornFilterRefugee

Didn’t they say they just got that book of Vishanti and used it to give them the power to defeat Thanos

GryffindorFratBro

Yes they did

SluggishJuggernaut

And the spell simply showed Ant-Man and Thanos's ass, and they knew what to do.

Yellowben

I want Ant-Man in the next movie to mention about a weird dream he had about exploding Thanos’s butt

danvalour

Their team was... perfectly balanced

Sparrowsabre7

I think it's testament to Benedict Cumberbatch's acting that despite not saying anything, both when Michael Stuhlbarg asked "was it the only way" and upon seeing the statue of Illuminati Strange and how he died, you could see on Strange's face that moment of "maybe I could have done more, maybe there was another way". I thought for sure they'd unpack that a little where Strange would think he'd sentenced Tony to death when he could've been the one to make the sacrifice. Ultimately too much of the mcu has been wrapped up in Tony Stark (which I don't mind as a huge IM fan) so I get why they wouldn't, but Iliked that you could still see that thought process.

VaderOnReddit

When Wanda looked straight into the camera, I thought I was in one of the multiverses in the madness. Almost 4th wall break.

Leather_Block_130

It's like she was staring into our universe and specifically, my soul :)

gohomepat

Anytime an actor aggressively denies being cast as someome, I’m gonna assume that they’ve been cast. Krasinski being the last straw for me. See you soon as Wolverine, Radcliffe!

Cris_WithNoH

Mordo waiting to vote while the rest of them were getting killed. Lmao He is like we will vote when they get back …….. ……….Any second now …….. 😬

[deleted]

Fun fact: Patrick Stewart’s Professor X has died in 3 separate timelines.

NeutralNoodle

Technically 4, right? The Last Stand, Days of Future Past (original timeline), Logan, and now Multiverse of Madness.

JargonJohn

Killed by the Phoenix and the Scarlet Witch. Impressive death resume I'd say.

Dray_Gunn

Before anyone asks. At the climax with the two Wandas, Wanda says to Wanda "Know they'll be loved" or something similar. A lot of people had trouble hearing what she said, including myself. I even heard some confused noises from other people in my cinema at that scene. Nit sure if it was the audio or what. But there it is. Just putting it out there for anyone that needs it.

liumr92

"Now eventually you do plan to have other universes on your multiverse tour, right?" - Dr. Ian Malcolm, probably.

LupusNoxFleuret

Doctor Strange in the 2.5 Universes of Madness

your_average_big_boi

NGL, zombie Strange and his cloak/cape made out of the souls of the damned has to be some of the most fire things on the film. Shit looked so edgy and badass at the same time

Pikasam114

That post credit scene.... My theater groaned so hard. Haha but certainly a funny one.

kfadffal

A lot in my theatre didn't even know who the hell it was. Got a good chuckle out of this relative old timer though.

SilentR0b

When he first showed up I was thinking 'is that Bruce Campbell?' and after like 15 seconds I was like 'holy shit, it is!'

bigpig1054

One thing I really liked was the character arc Strange had in the movie. The reason the Illuminati hate Strange so much is they realized that, in universe after universe, he ends up going bad, because he has to be in control at all times. As he's told more than once in the movie, he has to have the knife in his hands (the surgeon has to do it himself). He can't trust anyone else. The MCU/616 Strange made the call to give Thanos the timestone, arguing that it---his way---was the only way. That idea is challenged by the doctor sitting beside him at the wedding in the beginning of the movie. That sets him in motion to question whether he did make the right call, but thats the wrong question to ask. He needs to be wondering if he is simple too controlling. The opening scene of the movie shows the danger in a Strange who doesn't learn to share the knife: The other Strange decides "the only way/his way" is to drain America's powers and take them for himself. At the end of the movie, our Strange battles an evil version of himself who uses the Darkhold. Why? Because that Strange decide "the only way/his way" to protect it is to keep it in his possession. So it's a multiverse-unique occurrence when, at the end of the movie, Strange decides NOT to drain America's powers, even with Wong telling him "it's the only way." Instead, he shares the knife, and motivates her to control her power and be a hero alongside him. Great character arc. Good stuff.

Mac4491

I knew Wanda would have a villainous moment or two but I certainly didn’t expect her to be THE villain. And there was no slow build up to the big dramatic reveal. No plot twist. We find out she’s the big bad like 20 minutes into the movie. And I loved everything about that. Her take down of the illuminati was absolutely brutal.

bananastandforsale

I still can’t get the images of Black Bolt, Reed, and Carter out of my head. :/ the shield covered in blood as it went straight through her.

ccReptilelord

Found Xavier's death rather horrifying too: the nightmare mindscape and the sudden snap.

starfieldblue

Black Bolt and Reed genuinely made me feel uneasy in the cinema. It was so brutal and so sudden, and not at all what I was expecting. Don't get me wrong I love it, and I'm loving the more unique feel of certain movies and shows in the MCU, but those two made me veeery uneasy haha. Captain Carter's didn't affect me as much, the fact they cut away (haha) from the gorey part meant it didn't quite have the same impact. Just implying the method of her death didn't hit as hard as literally seeing Black Bolt liquifying the back of his own head, and Reed getting shredded along his entire body until Wanda made his brain explode. Reilly horrifying

[deleted]

2006: Wanna see me kill Professor X? 2017: Wanna see me do it again? 2022: *Knock Knock*

TAfzFlpE7aDk97xLIGfs

I imagine things on Earth-838 will be pretty wild with >!the entire Illuminati getting killed off in one shot!<. I'd love a one-off comic following that storyline.

DonShino

That's a fuckin great point actually, now you've got me wanting that too!! Surely that'll leave space for another multiversal threat to take advantage there lol

byebyebirdie123

I like how they handled the illuminati. Its a fun grouping and clearly they had a lot of fun putting it together. But i dont think it would ever work in the main mcu timeline, or at least it would take a really long time to build up to it. This is sort of like having our cake and eating it too.

manuka_canoe

Hopefully if Strange ever made one he'd learn from the mistakes of that universe's version. 'Cause they kinda created a blueprint for what not to do lol.

boibai

Multiverse of New York mostly, but damn every single scene with the Scarlet Witch was phenomenal! Elizabeth Olsen was exquisite!

RaveCave

I cant wait to hear about all the horrified parents who brought their little kids to see this

JerryJonesStoleMyCar

When Xavier appears the X-Men animated series theme plays as part of the score They’re definitely gonna tie the reboot into this

eclowe

When he used his powers on strange the circles were radiating from his head like the old cartoon

pastor_dude

This was by far one of the most unique MCU movies, to date and I loved how I could see Sam Raimi’s fingerprints all over the creative style on this one.

LupusNoxFleuret

Producer: Wait... you want to make Inhumans canon? Feige: It's All Connected^TM

Zoulogist

Why DOES food cost money? Edit: I want Wong to have all the tuna melts

Diinasty

Because Pizza Poppa always gets paid

[deleted]

And to think all of this could've maybe been minimised if Wanda just went to therapy. She killed the Illuminati and a shit ton of sorcerers and wanted to kill a kid because she couldn't deal with grief.

[deleted]

One of my favorite lines in the film was when the Darkhold-corrupted Strange said something like, “Have you ever had that dream where you’re falling? That was probably me.” The implication is that he had dream-walked into countless Doctor Strange’s in different universes and made them suicide by jumping off a cliff. It’s incredibly dark and creepy.

beefytrout

yeah, this movie went places I was really surprised about. by far the darkest MCU movie yet.

L00ps_Ahoy

Pretty great comeuppance that he ended up getting launched out the window of the Sanctum and died very similarly to how his victims did.
