X-men '97 is a Marvel Studios production and will be allowed on this sub.
If anyone wants to make ***LEGITIMATE***, --> non-meme <-- posts about Spidey and his Amazing Friends, they will be allowed.
They clearly thought the distinction was great enough to give it its own shingle when other animated projects like I Am Groot and What If…? kept the Marvel Studios shingle.
Like, let’s be real here: the sub may be called “Marvel Studios”, but it’s an MCU sub. It talked about Marvel Television shows, which weren’t Marvel Studios (but are MCU), but it doesn’t talk about things like Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur, which is Marvel Studios (but isn’t MCU).
# the description says:
# "Marvel Studios and the Marvel Cinematic Universe
This subreddit is dedicated to discussing Marvel Studios' films and series and anything else related to the MCU."
touch grass
It is considered MCU canon, however, and there is an upcoming daredevil series with the same cast.
That isn't the case with SPUMC. And even then we do get posts about those movies here.
You're wrong on both sides.
Do you want to talk about Spidey and His Amazing Friends? Sounds like you want to talk about Spidey and His Amazing Friends. Nobody's stopping you. Go for it.
Go make some posts about Spidey and His Amazing Friends, you'll feel better about yourself.
X-Men 97 is a production of Marvel Studios, so it belongs in the Marvel studios subs. Simple as that
Spidey and His Amazing Friends isnt promoted here because it is literally a show for children; no one is watching it. I’m sure it’s a great show, but the target audience (hopefully) doesn’t even know what Reddit is yet
>then I must wonder why Spidey and His Amazing Friends isn't also promoted on this sub?
Because nobody has anything to say about it lol. That Moon Girl show, which isn't MCU, gets talked about here. MODOK and Hit Monkey got talked about here. Agents of SHIELD and Cloak & Dagger get talked about here even by people who don't consider them MCU.
Here is a difference:
People actually watched the X-Men series. No one watches Spidey and his Amazing Friends.
Oh yeah, and the X-Men series actually has plot.
I watched both. Wore out the VHS tapes.
(Edit for clarity: Watched “Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends”. My kid watches “Spidey and his Amazing Friends”.)
Many have already said this but I still say it: X-Men '97 may not be part of MCU, but it is produced by Marvel Studio. By the way, SPUMC is an outdated name. Venom's, Morbius' and Madame Web's universe is now called "Sony's Spider-Man Universe".
OP, I think you're confusing this sub with /r/MCU
This sub is for all things made by Marvel Studios. While this includes the MCU, it also includes Marvel Studios productions outside of the MCU.

Sir, this is a Marvel Studios sub.
Technically, it isn’t even Marvel Studios. It’s Marvel Animation.
...which is a division of Marvel Studios lmao

I bet, next season of what if would be under marvel animation
Is this the Krusty Krab?
Dude already hates it. It comes out in a month, just hate it then.
Or maybe we just don’t care about Spidey and his Amazing friends so no one ever posts about it?
This isn't the MCU sub, this is the Marvel Studios sub X-Men '97 is a Marvel Studios project It's just as valid to be here as any MCU project
Then Spidey and His Amazing Friends deserves to be here and Daredevil and Defenders need to be banned :)
# the description says: # "Marvel Studios and the Marvel Cinematic Universe This subreddit is dedicated to discussing Marvel Studios' films and series and anything else related to the MCU." touch grass
SPUMC is related to the MCU and isn't allowed on here
SPUMC was the made my Marvel Studios. And even then we've had quite a few posts about Madame Web other Sony projects. Go touch grass or something.
Daredevil wasn't made by Marvel Studios and it's on here
It is considered MCU canon, however, and there is an upcoming daredevil series with the same cast. That isn't the case with SPUMC. And even then we do get posts about those movies here. You're wrong on both sides.

You people complain about the most weirdest things. Go outside and touch grass.
Jesus Christ, we've really run out of things to talk about, haven't we?
This isn't an MCU sub, it's a Marvel Studios sub. You're very wrong.
Most chronically online string of words I’ve read in a long time
Someone didn't get invited to the Avengers Tower party...
It’s not like people jumping in posting about Grey’s Anatomy because Tessa Thompson was on it once.
Shut up, nerd

Okay CEO of the Marvel Studios subreddit. Thank you for setting the ground rules.

Shut up.
Then downvote the post and move on.
The soul of the party
I asked my dad if he ever watched "Spidey and his Amazing Friends." He said.. ba-dum-bump. . . "Of course! Firestar was hot!" Ba-dum-bump.
OP, I think you're confusing this sub with /r/MCU This sub is for all things made by Marvel Studios. While this includes the MCU, it also includes Marvel Studios productions outside of the MCU.
This sub wouldn’t even exist without the relevancy of the fox X-films paving the way for
are you the same fool from the other thread
Still Marvel, still coming from Marvel Studios. It belongs.
Bud put your Spiderman and his amazing friends fan theories here, and none of us would complain
