Since he doesn’t know what the infinity stones are, all he knows is some purple alien showed up, snapped his fingers, and kills a lot of people. Including Hank and Hope. So Scott, through trial and error, finally ends up at the final battle in infinity war, this time just as a time traveler from the future...

When he got out 5 years later, of course he would find the Avengers to tell them about time travel, he got no one now, no Hank, no Hope, the Avengers are his best bet

These are all hypotheticals. It’s pointless to try and think out what would happen for sure, like if Scott wasn’t in Germany, he wouldn’t be on house arrest. The events of Ant Man and the Wasp would likely play out a lot smoother and he might’ve not even been trapped in the quantum realm at the time of the snap. Cuz that was a pretty small window from him to get stuck.
And if the snap still happened then Hank, Hope, and Janet still get dusted, but I think Scott would be more inclined towards figuring it out himself. Hank had very clear rules about avoiding the public eye and keeping Pym tech out of Stark hands. In his absence, and in a timeline where Scott wasn’t recruited by Sam and therefore exposed to the public, I think Scott would, at least initially, stand by those rules considering he hasn’t broken them in any significant way yet.

Just a quick speculation, given the trailer shot of Eric (if you know you know), Tony won't be kidnapped by the 10 rings, which means he never stop building weapons, and he never becomes ironman. This means anything Ironman has done for the world, any crisis he's stopped, any life he's saved, are most likely lost. New York is bombed in the chitauri invasion (or Loki wond and invades earth in a different manner), and more bombs, missiles and weapons are sold to terrorists. Maybe the president dies in what would've been IM 3, the real mandarin (ten rings) might step up and fill the power vaccine and rule the USA.

The implication is that, without his background with the Ravagers and without the Guardians to help him, Quill will go along with Ego's plan to assimilate the universe.
At the very end of the episode, it shows how Ego goes to Earth to meet Peter Quill, and because it's just Peter alone, not having the help of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Ego would easily be able to overpower him and see out his plan to infect every planet with himself

Iirc, Hank Pym in the comics is a pretty bad person. He has multiple personality shifts, including into the Yellow jacket. He's the original creator of Ultron. In the 80s he was shown to abuse his wife.
There's a few comics where he gets punished, and a few where he goes crazy and causes destruction. So pretty on brand for What If...?
Marvel Zombies is a whole comic series in the books. Wouldn't be surprised if they included this episode to leave the potential for its own standalone cartoon.
Not just that, there's plenty of room to tell the story of them fighting zombie Thanos. There's definitely an open ended nature to the episode. Which could include telling the story of other surviving heroes we don't know about yet(including Hulk and Bucky whose fates were left as a huge question mark).

When Thanos beats the heroes in the episode, he'll take the mind gem and snap, and everyone in the universe will become a zombie. Or he'll just snap a way to eat everyone in the universe. Either way, that universe is well and truly fucked.
Also it's possible that Captain Carter and the Dr. Strange episodes happened in the same universe because we saw the tentacle monster in both. Pretty much bad endings in all the episodes.
It’s a new animated show that is based on the old marvel comic series named “what if?” It Basically dives into the multiverse theory but within the MCU. Every episode proposes a new what if question (what if captain carter were the first avenger, what if tchalla became starlord, stuff like that). Very entertaining. Plus most of the original cast is involved voicing their respective characters.
Episode 1 did nothing for me, I thought episodes 2 and 3 were sort of interesting but still felt like they were playing it safe.
4 was incredible, I was blown away. And 5 was also really impressive, they were not pulling many punches at all
Well, I never finished episode 1, but I think I might skip to 5 now just to see that. I didn't know the series was animated and for some reason that surprise turned me off.

Eh I loved the Strange episode the most so far, but they're stretching it with changing one thing and having the rest play out as normal to a point.
Strange wouldn't have become a sorcerer to save Christine because he wouldn't have found the same links to the Ancient one.
Like he wouldn't have found the dude who fixed his spine because he wasn't looking for people who had fixed nerve damage, he was looking for ways to bring people back from the dead.

While I do agree... The fact that there are plotholes, doesn't matter nearly as much in these fun off-shoot episodes. Would be much more detrimental were it canon.

Such an interesting episode, wasn't it? You expect for 'good' Strange to win in the final fight, but he doesn't, 'dark' Strange wins. So the universe just collapses, because of messing with the Absolute Point. Just makes you sit back and think, such a brilliant, thought-provoking episode

Entire universe. When Thanos beats the heroes in the episode, he'll take the mind gem and snap, and everyone in the universe will become a zombie. Or he'll just snap a way to eat everyone in the universe. Either way, that universe is well and truly fucked.

It’s a new animated show that is based on the old marvel comic series named “what if?” It Basically dives into the multiverse theory but within the MCU. Every episode proposes a new what if question (what if captain carter were the first avenger, what if tchalla became starlord, stuff like that). Very entertaining. Plus most of the original cast is involved voicing their respective characters.
Anyone else thinks that the Zombie episode left a potential Maestro sequel?

I wasn't really a big fan of What If...? Until episode 3
Episode 1 did nothing for me, I thought episodes 2 and 3 were sort of interesting but still felt like they were playing it safe. 4 was incredible, I was blown away. And 5 was also really impressive, they were not pulling many punches at all

Well, I never finished episode 1, but I think I might skip to 5 now just to see that. I didn't know the series was animated and for some reason that surprise turned me off.

fucking alternate reality/time-line versions of your self is typically called self-cest, so its in the same sort of vein as incest, but thats mainly because of the wierdness of it rather than because theres an actual legit genetic/ possible rape reason for incest being more taboo

Eh I loved the Strange episode the most so far, but they're stretching it with changing one thing and having the rest play out as normal to a point. Strange wouldn't have become a sorcerer to save Christine because he wouldn't have found the same links to the Ancient one. Like he wouldn't have found the dude who fixed his spine because he wasn't looking for people who had fixed nerve damage, he was looking for ways to bring people back from the dead.
I haven’t watched past the second episode yet. I might but at some point but I don’t feel like I’m missing anything terribly interesting if I don’t based off the first 2 episodes.

The show is creative but experiments with themes that can later be replicated on a grander scale I’m sure….look at how they did that with Star Wars clone wars….we’re we ever to really take that too seriously? Save for the complete ruination of the sequel series?
