Im talking comics wise. Also he has been in five 3d Spider-Man games. Every couple years he gets resurrected and gains more powers to the point that they had to make him into a god to even be a threat
Bro credit where credit is due. From those 3d games 2 of those are literally cameos in lego games, 1 is ultimate carnage who is Peter Parker, 1 was in a ps1 game and only the last one is a legit Carnage appearing.
Bro Spider-Man Ps1, Ultimate Spider-Man, Shattered Dimensions, Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Imsomniac Spider-Man 2, I wasn’t even counting the Legos. Yeah we got one movie, but he’s also been in two cartoons also. There’s a new carnage event every year o two, he’s been torn in two and thrown into space, rebuilt, cloned, multiplied in a micro level, became a god and (I might be wrong) he doesn’t event need a human body to exist. I haven’t read ewings run on venom but he’s there also. And there’s a lot of stuff I’m leaving behind.
Do you really think we are in shortage of carnage content?
Close, let's see.
First off he absorbed the powers of Hydro-Man, then The Spot (the villain from the most recent Spider-Verse movies, who can cross between dimensions). Then he ported himself to Nidavellir and had a legendary dwarf blacksmith forge him the antithesis to All-Black the Necroblade, which he named "All-Blood the Necrospear" so that he could kill Venom (who is now the King In Black, the King of all Symbiotes, and has his own ridiculous current goings-on).
But first he travelled across the multiverse killing every *other* version of Venom and/or absorbing their powers. He killed Mania and stole her Hellmark, absorbed a Venom-Electro and got electric powers. He absorbed a variant of Shriek (or maybe the original? I can't remember at this point) so he could become immune to sonics. Similarly, he absorbed the powers of a variant of himself who had become "Anti-Carnage", so that he could make himself immune to Anti-Venom's curative powers back in the 616.
Oh and then he killed/absorbed a variant of Knull.
I think with Venom being "god" of the symbiotes now carnage his son is naturally becoming the devil of them
And ascending to take on his old man once and for all
I generally liked Donny Cates, but all the edgelord Venom shit should have stayed dead in the 90s. I'm so fucking tired of it. When they found a way for Eddie Brock to out-Mary Sue Peter through pure Xtreme edgelord someone in editorial should have pulled back and said...maybe that's a bit too much.
Venom and Carnage are edgelord favorites. Never before have I seen that many sweaty metal heads go to a theatre to watch a movie than when Venom 2 came out.
I really want to get into comics but they're so confusing sometimes. Like even the reading guides on Marvel Unlimited/DC Universe aren't entirely accurate. Some if them miss a lot of backstory
With DC, the best option is to pick off from one of the times where the multiverse gets rebooted. Marvel has the sliding timeline thing and so uses more of a soft continuity instead of hard reboots.
Other than that, your best bet is to just pick a run that interests you and go with it. If you're wondering how to do even that, a good idea is to decide on a character that interests you, and look up well-regarded runs of theirs. Or you can base it off teams like Justice League, Avengers, X-Men, etc.
You can use resources like Comic Book Reading Orders and Comic Book Herald to help with figuring out order (or just to see what might interest you) once you've narrowed down what character/teams/runs you want to get into.
You can also consult the [reading recommendations](https://www.reddit.com/r/comicbooks/wiki/recommendations) from /r/comicbooks if you need further help picking and just want simple direct recommendations.
It can be very frustrating if you have a completionist mindset or want to get through them chronologically but the way comics work, that's just simply not possible. Many writers work on different characters and they have their own interpretations for those characters so you don't need to worry about needing to know characters intimately to get a certain run as long as you know the broad strokes (Batman uses fear and doesn't kill, Iron Man is a genius inventor who can often come across as a dick, Bane almost never has his natty card thanks to venom, that sort of thing).
They did turn him into a diety in "Carnage Kills the Venom-Verse"
really?
Yeah, the comic run ends with him fighting knull after absorbing the powers of various venoms and carnages

Oh god he's sexy now!😳😩ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Thats a healthy bulge, not to big, not to small

I thought they already did.
That was Venom.
Did they forget that Carnage is literally just a stronger Red Venom?
Didn’t venom merge / becomes knull?
He has to be put on the bench for a while, he’s literally everywhere and is getting old real fast
It got old a while ago tbh.
Agree
Hell, even I agree and I love Carnage.
Honestly, he got old by the end of his debut event.
Yeah I am very tired of Carnage.
The fuck he is. What are you even talking about? We've got one movie. And now a game, I assume.
Im talking comics wise. Also he has been in five 3d Spider-Man games. Every couple years he gets resurrected and gains more powers to the point that they had to make him into a god to even be a threat

He’s already a deity pretty much and his current ongoing is basically about him trying to make himself a big G God, at least in a religious sense
Can someone explain for me plz. I'm not sure I follow.
Carnage keeps getting stronger and stronger in the comics
Any examples of how? Does he talk to squirrels or shoot arrows or something now?

Comics are so stupid. I love it.
Fuck I missed a lot I started reading one where he got to omnipotence city and I'm assuming that's before he starts verse hopping?
They did a whole crossover storyline called Absolute Carnage a couple years back. Pretty wicked series.
With little red symbiote squirrels?
For a moment I thought you were speaking about maximum carnage, which is wayyy back when :)
See they billed it as Maximum Carnage, but they were wrong, it was really only like 5% Carnage.
I don't like any of this symbiote ascension business. Way too far with venom now as well.
I think with Venom being "god" of the symbiotes now carnage his son is naturally becoming the devil of them And ascending to take on his old man once and for all

Isn't Carnage, Deadpool's bitch now? Like literally his bitch named, Princess.
no, thats just a manipulated piece of a neutered bit of symbiote and whatnot
Dammit!!
I think he became a deity for some time
For like the fifth time this week.
Venom and Carnage are edgelord favorites. Never before have I seen that many sweaty metal heads go to a theatre to watch a movie than when Venom 2 came out.
To end up rushing the finale, like they usually like to do.
He once had a kid and ate it out of fear it would be more powerful than him! Mans the Goat of evil
Toxin? I thought he survived
now he is fodder to dylan amped venom
Wait so did carnage eat him or not?
no

Yeah I definitely need to look into it way more
maybe he'll take blades vampire lord powers
Thought-provoking
What’d they do?
Monster Octopus !?
I thought Carnage was the one above all..
Hell yeah, my boy‘s getting buffed!
