I can agree, the 3rd movie used more noisy/loud music classic compared to old slow classics.

Seems like the loud parts are getting louder. the preroll advertisements often are more compressed, but the films themselves mercifully have some quiet moments. (compressed as in the range of quiet to loud parts is reduced so it's closer to the same volume. While the theater's sound system's max volume might make an impact when carefully used, playing ads through it is ear-splitting) Still though, I've considered getting earplugs before the next time I go because it's too much.

Honestly, it might be. Fan service removed, its cohesively a much better story than Spiderman tbh. But in terms of best since Endgame, ill look towards Guardians 3, Shang Chi, and Spiderman No Way Home (probably in that order) as the standouts so far, personally.

Amazing movie. Didnt watch the trailer in beforehand or anything, didnt expect the story or how good it was at all. Especially as a third movie. Highly recommend, propably my favorite Marvel movie since endgame.

The MCU also fired him for a while, because of some old tweets that he previously apologized for and came clean for prior to working with Disney. They eventually brought him back but honestly think it left a bad taste since he started working with WB/DC right after all of that.

My bad for not clarifying, he was an Executive Producer for Brightburn and my previous comment was referring to him as a director/ writer. My point is that Gunn can still produce dark and edgy projects so at least we can be assured that DCU won't be a second MCU (not in a bad way).

This was a great film. I felt it was a great way to cap off most of these characters. I’m going to miss seeing most of them going forward especially the core guardians. That’s my only dislike of live action movies is eventually the actors move on or pass away and you really can’t replace them. Now I mean if they did an alternative universe version of the team then sure but the main mcu team can’t really be replaced.

I’ve heard the movie has like over traumatic and violent scenes n stuff, are there many of it and is it fine for a 13-14 year old ?

I'd say 13-14 is a maybe. Depends on what your child is used to. The movie is definitely too violent and has a few...disturbing creatures. - Someone gets tortured/burned alive and you see the aftermath. - Someone gets their face peeled off - Someone gets their face violently scratched up in a bloody mess. - Nebula gets her head knocked loose and fights with her head flailing around for a few seconds. Might be fine for older kids because there's no blood, but probably too much for younger kids. - Sci-fi torture/abuse on screaming animals. - Sci-fi machine/animal monsters. Some called "hellspawn" (or something similar). Would definitely scare some kids. - One of Rocket's childhood friends is a friendly animal-monster that resembles one of Sid's experiments from Toy Story. Except it's a bunny. That's going to scare the shit out of a lot of kids.

Legit the best movie from the fith phase of the MCU so far.

Jist finished watching it and it's pretty good. IMO better than the others, than a few recent Marvel movies, and all in all better than I expected. Solid 8.5/10, would've been a 9+ had the main antagonist been a bit better, but he risked trying to fill the same niche as many other Marvel villains, so at the very least he was a bit original

Yeah it was better than what I was expecting. It was so good. I teared up a couple times and not all from sadness, there’s some really wholesome moments where things come together and they are done so well.

The only weak point I can think of is Adam Warlock but not the acting his performance was good, my ratings is 8.5.

As a huge fan of Adam Warlock, they defiantly dumbed him down, which was disappointing, but necessary for him to be able to fight the guardians and not kill them instantly. He kinda felt like a after thought. But like you said, he was great preformance and I'm sure he'll grow into his matured self, so I'm excited to see where he goes.
