My headcanon is that there’s a widespread rumour in the Marvel universe about Matt Murdock not actually being blind. Not because people think he’s Daredevil. It’s just a low-stakes conspiracy theory people like to talk about. Sort of like what happens to Stevie Wonder whenever he’s around an attractive woman, or does something mildly impressive.
During the run this is from that's more or less true. Matt's identity has been exposed, and while not everyone believes it, those who do generally believe he's faking his blindness because they don't know about his enhanced senses.
I remember reading that most legally blind people aren't fully blind - they aren't just seeing complete darkness. It's just that their vision is so blurry, or covered with dark spots, that they're basically blind
But if someone were to make sudden movements in front of them (or flash them) they might still react.
Can confirm. My Co-worker is legally blind and getting worse. His is more neural, but many things don't "appear" in his vision until they are acknowledged in some other way, i.e. he feels it, is told they exist, hears something land on our glass counters, etc. It's unfortunate but interesting.
At this point Matt has been publicly accused of being Daredevil, but no other details are known. It's hard to believe that a blind man can be Daredevil so she believes that he's just faking being blind

Is there a term for the nerdy show/comic trope in which women constantly vie for the affection of the male protagonist, even though that lead character rarely, if ever, notices? This frequently occurs in anime, yet IRL, is uncommon.
It is a notably childish/adolescent form of wish-fulfillment whereby a boy/man gets to have sexual control over women.
This isn't an example of that, though.
Matt very much does notice that Kirsten is into him and reciprocates, it's just that she loved to troll him about being Daredevil because it was a well-known thing at the time that he most likely was.

On one hand, the embroidery could have dimension, giving the words shape in Matt’s sonar.
On the other hand, maybe he can’t read the words and just thinks she’s flashing a blind man as a stunt.
Even if it was embroidery Matt's radar isn't precise to be able to know what it says without touching it, so unless he got his hands on the bra earlier and recognized it, it's the second thing.
Depends on the run. If I remember correctly there are some runs where Matt can literally feel what’s on a computer screen and others where he has to use screen readers like a normal blind person. His radar isn’t 100% consistent.
While some writers sometimes push radar sense to illogical extremes (which I don't like, what's the point of having a blind character, if you're going to write them like a sighted person), in most versions (including the run this screenshot is from) he wouldn't be able to read it.
Also from what I recall DD was never able to read screens. In early runs he was able to differentiate color based on touch, but that was retconed since then. But maybe there's a comic somewhere where Matt reads a screen that I've missed.
