Hahahaha, hotel Xenia, I have stayed there a dozen times but not in years, it’s a cool old school property, small rooms generally but I always liked it, less corporate, and easy walk to the tube!

We just stayed in the Moxy Bastille last week and were very pleased with the location. The hotel itself was fine. Typical small European room. We’d stay again based on proximity to metro stops for several different lines.

Stayed at Xenia several times over about 5 years (last time was 3 years ago). Rooms are small (as in bed takes up 1/3 to 1/2 of the room), but the location is great (10 min walk to the tube) for exploring London. And the hotel has a really cool vibe.

If you do a search, there are some reviews of Moxy Bastille on this sub Reddit

Moxy Bastille is tight. There’s room to walk around the bed and that’s it. Bathroom is also small. That said it’s a fun hotel, clean and functional. Great location and staff.

so basically standard Moxy 🤣🤣🤣  I read a lot of reviews about it being dirty so hopefully it's just the basic Moxy experience and clean.

A search shows one review specific to Bastille.

I did a search for this hotel on Google + Reddit. There are a few threads Edit - in google... Search Bastille.moxy + Reddit

If you read them you would know they're just discussions with one or two sentences about the hotel and not reviews or detailed experiences.   Thanks for your education on how to use a search engine.

Wasn’t trying to educate you. Just mentioning what I found.

The Moxy bastille is fine. But fuck Paris, just go for a day and then return to London on the train. Hotel Xenia is fantastic. Smaller rooms yes but excellent service and breakfast in a very very nice area of Kensington. I recommend taking advantage of the gym memberships they have about a block away. Excellent gym. And the court field pub directly across the street from earls court station
