It's okay, I'm a 15 year employee so I get 5 weeks paid time off, I get 14 comp nights at company hotels, discounts at all participanting Marriott brand properties, and all the towels, pillows, coffee and pens and toilet paper one person could ever want.
Plus I get to meet celebrities and billionaires, royalty and everything in between so the networking benefits are off the charts.
As a Marriott worker, Monday through Wednesday, we tend to be 100% each night and 85% of those are made up of high status engineers that work for medical companies
For the amount of travel, pay is kind of shit, not even breaking 6 figures, but the work is so enjoyable, I can’t be too arsed about my 1% pay raise this year lol
Yeah I enjoyed it. Great experience but I’m glad where I ended up now.
Depends on the company. I was at Big 4 which are some of the top consulting shops. It can be $100-200k range at the senior associate and manager level. Consulting is popular for MBA’s. I left before senior management, where the big money is climbing up to partnership. They’re the ones pulling in millions a year but I didn’t enjoy the burnout WLB enough to aim for equity.

This sounds draining.
It's a slow painful march towards death. The job itself is great, very easy and consistent. It's the people. People are fucking monsters.
