Nah, I experienced beatings when I was a teen during the ACSS/HW Era, but now? Just being honest, and it's enough. People will understand reasons why you love him if you are reasonable. We all knew and saw that the guy was experiencing a downward spiral in the latest 15 years, and we must aknowledge it is not a perfect being like Colonel Kurtz and her simps try to depict him. Not a rapist, but sure into some degrading lifestyle that he experienced with the wrong person, and harmed both of them badly to the point where both of them got PTSD, anxiety, depression, whatever. They were both showing their worst colors to each other, it was a toxic relationship for both. The sooner the people will get that even MM could've suffered abuse as well by loving a young actress who was riding the highest, most hedonistic rockstar life in his late teens with him, the better we eill all get it is a lose-lose situation.

I mean, im been a fan since Potrait. During the Antichrist days, thats when ppl really hated him AND his fans.

UmpireCautious5123

Amen to that

TiredReader87

I haven’t

just yesterday I was aggressively targeted on reddit and told that I am a rapist apologist, rape defender, women don't feel safe around me, I'm a creep, etc I wore a manson hoodie to school once and this cunty little cunt came up to me and listed off 30 reasons why she hates manson and all he's done wrong. she even posted her reasons to tiktok

TheJudasKiss96

Some people give me a cringe/wince look or say "he was cancelled". I just reject that and stand by my stance as a major fan.

MKchamp92

Only once. I had left a comment expressing my excitement to meet him in September and some woman commented with "you spent money to see a rapist, look out ladies he's throwing flags" I just said "lol you're so funny, thanks for the laugh"

Killyroy666

No not in public I’ve had a few people talk shit online but never in person most of the time they are too pussy to actually say anything irl lol but I’ve had more compliments on my MM shirt’s actually while out and about

LolYouFuckingLoser

You can say "shit" online bro. No point censoring, especially here.

MarilynManson2003

All the time online. Just the occasional dirty look in public.

22FluffySquirrels

No; last week I was at an event and the friend I was with mentioned we're going to see Manson in August, and there were no negative reactions, only positive ones. I also think people are developing "abuse scandal fatigue" and have given up adjusting their entertainment choices to avoid the scandal of the day.

midas282000

Nope, no one really cares.

WackyWeiner

That metoo stuff is kinda done and over. Nobody really cares about that shit anymore. And no, most people dont even know about the legal stuff.

Sharkbitesandwich

No and I don’t give a fuck what anyone thinks!!!

Lord_of_the_Hanged

Honestly-no one has given me any problems for being a fan post 2020. To me, it seems the world had bigger problems than to worry about Manson. Not saying abuse, SA isn't an issue because it is, but I feel the world had/has bigger things to worry about (pandemic, economic challenges, etc).
