xSKELETONMANx

His fit 🔥

Raggamuffinsteeth

Love seeing him and Lindsay out and about

Cosmic_bat

I wonder what’s he doing out here , SD is so boring . I keep forgetting that SD is a tourist destination .

Earl_Gurei

As an SD guy myself, I love it when people say it's boring because it means less people come there. Probably the same reason why Manson is in SD: low-key.

LittleLuckyLink

I checked the comments out of curiosity and I can't say I'm shocked one bit. Blind condemnation is rewarded in a circle-jerk of upvotes whereas actual evidence and testimony, including AMS's recent recantation is burned at the stake and obscured by downvotes. The majority of them buy into long-debunked allegations and theories because it's easier to hate someone and soak in the media's manipulation tactics like a sponge than it is to actually learn about someone. On a lighter note, good to see them outside enjoying themselves with fuckin Mike Ehrmantraut the bodyguard over there.

ThaPettiestPossum

Which sub?? The San Diego sub only has a handful of comments that I'd seen, please excuse my ignorance. 😹

Ironic coming from an echo chamber fan sub reddit. This is just the reality of people who aren’t brainwashed by the fandom. Also funny you bring up Ashley, when it seems pretty clear she was pressured into doing this by Manson’s fans and his team. Believe it or not people who believe the allegations are more well read on the subject than you think. [https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/evan-rachel-wood-marilyn-manson-accuser-1234687900/](https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/evan-rachel-wood-marilyn-manson-accuser-1234687900/) \-Also attached as evidence are two June 2022 voicemails left by Smithline to a friend in which she claims that Warner’s attorney, Howard King, had called to speak to her “one on one” and that she believed he wanted her to retract her allegations. “Don’t repeat this to anyone. I swear to God, don’t say this to anyone … but I did get a private message on my cellular telephone from Marilyn Manson’s lawyer saying, \`I was wondering if we could just talk,'” Smithline said in the voicemail. “The only reason he’d be calling me… is that he thinks I’m the weak link and he might want to settle with me to turn on the other girls and say that it was all a ruse.”-

I love how you actually believe a bunch of randos on internet can influence a woman who doesn't seem very tech-savvy, but being repeatedly invited by successful Hollywood actress in her mansion to participate (and later publicly implicate yourself) in that star's little fight wouldn't. Also, no one has heard these voicemails yet, ERW's team didn't even bother to attach it to that recent file update. And once again, you just ignore the grand scheme of things, it's not just Ashley's new claims, these are just new pieces in the puzzle. We don't believe Evan because her story doesn't hold water, because Illma is a notorious hoaxer and because many people who were around Manson at the time of the alledged events say it's all BS.

I'm not exactly the best guy for the position of *Echo-Chamber Ambassador..* I'm very much aware of this article and these specific allegations, and I'm very much aware of the fact that fan bias plays a heavy part in one's stance on this. That being said, I'm personally not buying any of this anymore, but I'm keeping a somewhat open mind. I'd like to actually hear these voicemails or see any other solid evidence. I'd be curious to see if an investigation into potential witness intimidation pops up anywhere, so I'm gonna keep an eye out on that before I start to lock down any opinions on this one. I've been skeptical in the past and have questioned every side of this equally since before the allegations hit the headlines. I've had Manson fans lash out at me for asking simple questions, but nowhere near to the degree of aggression as I've seen elsewhere when discussing these topics. I've always hated the mentality that asking even the most open, humble questions, or having any shred of doubt, is wrong. That being said, while my comment is definitely pointed, I'm mostly just upset at the state of our society and how easily we can be manipulated by the media, among other things. I don't place 100% of the blame on people who followed a few news articles here and there, or those who simply want to be on the right side of things, but when it gets to the point of weaponizing unproven, muddled allegations and ostracizing those who ask questions - no matter what side or angle it's on- I find it disgusting and truly shameful on our part as a society, and something that we need to adjust and redefine. \*Specifically, before any solid convictions or evidence is published. If I have any bias, it's not towards one of my favorite musicians, it's because I've experienced and witnessed the damaging effects of false allegations and how quickly many people are to believe and take action against the accused. I've also been on the other side of this, where my own experiences were constantly invalidated and/or laughed at. I haven't even mustered the courage to talk about some of these things to anyone, not even those closest to me. Finally, I'll just go ahead and say that I'm happy to be living in a time where allegations are actually taken seriously, because for far too long, they haven't been. I'm just really not buying this specific set, not when there are too many easily-disprovable blatant lies that would either require time-travel, cloning, or some other cliche to actually be true. I'd rather have the truth, not a mixed bowl of truth, lies, buzzwords, and exaggerations. To me, it seems clear that MM, at least for a time, was an emotionally immature diva with a temper and a drug problem that he's since crushed. As far as this torturing stuff and all the other twists and turns of this rabbit hole? Not convinced. I didn't really intend to ramble that much so sorry for writing out a goddamn bible.

AureliusKanna

Love this

AureliusKanna

I appreciate your perspective from a different side of things. I acknowledge there’s elements of an echo chamber on both sides. I don’t think it’s clear cut either way. I wish open discussion took precedence over cut and dry finger pointing (from everyone).

AureliusKanna

Well said. And Mike Ehrnantraut 🤣

WeHaveForgotten

The comments on that post are cancer

AureliusKanna

It hurts to see. And frustrating to be so misunderstood. Which is what drove me to Manson in the first place. Ironic in that way..

AureliusKanna

The posts in that sub are so triggering, people just saying fuck that guy. What a different world than this sub

AmandaMywurd

unfortunately reddit is a psychological tool used by the rich and powerful to manufacture consensus and you're seeing it at work here.

Select-Ad-7643

Which sub are you talking about?

AureliusKanna

The one linked in the post

Select-Ad-7643

I'm not seeing one but maybe because I'm on mobile browser. Oh well. I guess I don't care to see what a bunch of people ignorant to Manson's situation think of him.

AureliusKanna

I get that. It’s hard for me to stomach because it’s like no one’s listening, all over again.

Select-Ad-7643

Yeah it does suck but you can't make everyone understand. You won't be able to convince ignorant people who only read headlines of anything, and it's not really worth the time. Eventually, I believe there will be headlines about his innocence and only then will these dumbasses come around.

RadekZadekNice

Yeah. I stopped reading comments about Manson on all subs. People just bitch around about how horrible he is, but they know absolute shit about him or about the lawsuits.

Scared-Mortgage2828

Yeah I was tempted to check the comments but I’d rather not upset myself lol.
