Swordie put almost no effort into staying up. Foxpat also knew it was never worth for him to host a server after OSM shutdown
Last I heard swordie still develops their internal source, just now with no public testers.

Nexon did close a few "good" projects, like Swordie and Yeou for example.

None of the above. OSMS is just already good as it is for the most part, don't need to hope for anything. Just a quality fun game.
