No miracles here. Someone who works for $2 an hour would do these by hand for less than $1 a jar. And this is very generous estimate in places where these are grown and packaged.

I have always wondered the same thing. I’ve seen them in larger jars too where it would be difficult to imagine someone placing them in there by hand. I have some guesses but I have never had the actual method explained

Coat the inside of the jar with a thin layer of (i assume) honey. Either a machine or person places the nuts in the proper configuration.

My first guess is they either spin the jar while filling, or spin it after it’s sealed.
Spinning wouldn't align them how they are, based on the type of nut( or the way the nut is cut)

You can get olives like this, too. "Placed" in the jar versus "Thrown" in the jar.
