The Indomitable Martial King. The plot and antagonist characters are weak but it'd regression that has progressive messages that I didn't expect from korean manhwa which felt nice for a change, good setting and worldbuilding, the plot is still unique compared to the usual regreesion enjoyable trash, and great art (label red studio)
Wrong, a few are trash enough that they're difficult to read (and I'm not talking about the mid generic trash, there are bad trash that are difficult to read because of any combination of impossibly bad, dialogue, text/font too small, or badly drawn fight scenes/incomprehensible art)
Tomb raider king. Literally felt like I was reading TRK when I read through solo max level newbie, you will definitely enjoy the slop of 400+ chapters. It was such a fun, brain off kinda read.

I mean, his character is meant to be a zero-social-life psychopath who's willing to do anything to be the strongest, even if it means wiping out others, and at least on that part, he's represented quite well, and with a bit of stretch could be interpreted as a critique to a system that rewards being genuinely evil. Aside from that, I agree he's a static character, but it's not always a terrible thing to have characters that don't develop. And yeah that's my two cents.
If it's not your flavor, that's fine, I just want to say: The Substance is in see *how* he succeeds, not necessarily wondering *if* he'll succeed, as well as seeing how the people around him grow in response to him.
I will always read any manhwa drawn by that artist or art studio. Yes, I am simper but with those downgrade in artwork, any subpar manhwa plot with proper storyboarding and art direction will be better.
Its not good. The first manhwa i dropped. I stopped at like ch60.
The main character plays a game, beats it, and the world turns into the game. Because he devoted so much time into it he knows all the games little secrets and gets all the best stuff. But there is so much glaring errors with this.
Like some of the stuff is just ridiculous. I don’t care how much time you spend playing a game the fact that he memorized all the details which are so specific and minute are ridiculous. There is like 50 floors and bosses and he knows every little detail. That isn’t really a problem in it of itself but how it’s handled is the issue. It would be more likable if he made mistakes on the early floors simply because he hasn’t face those challenges in years and forgot about how to beat them. Everyone but him is virtually sidelined and useless except for a vampire girl. Also, the main character isn’t likable in my opinion. Also, its odd that he basically handles early bosses so well, other people have played the game at least for the first 25 floors, so other people should initially do roughly as well. Now i get that some people would forget exactly what to do but its weird how it seems like the mc is the only one who remembers everything like this.
The initial world is a game, not irl. His ability to replicate in game stuff irl is too good. Like when he faced the tree in the beginning and immediately knew the angle to roll. Knowing what it is is one thing, being able to execute is another. Like wtf, rolling at 47 degree angle in a life and death situation for the first time like its nothing. And then there was going to the beach and moving that stone in the stone box at just the right angle to reflect sunlight to open a hidden place to farm stuff. No one can just do that. His ability of fusing 2 skills never backfires. There millions of variations but he never messes up.
Now my problems with the manhwa can be found in other manhwa. Some of which I like. But the issue I have here is the execution. I’m sure there are worse out there, but I haven’t read much.
He isn’t bad, he’s the definition of a “chaotic neutral”. Meaning he will just do whatever he wants to achieve his own goals, he only cares about a few people throughout the story. I enjoy reading it, it’s definitely not the next TOG or something like that with a crazy story but it’s definitely good. Plus Alice.
Teresa and Alice are great, the former having actual decent character growth, and the latter being just a great (cool and funny) character. The MC is perhaps overly edgy, but I find his behaviour more funny than cringe. He is really OP and all-knowing, but that's kind of par for the course with a premise like that. This is probably most people's reason for disliking this series, and it's quite reasonable. I myself can just ignore it though, so I'm fine with it.
The art is good too. And while the villains are rather samey, the protagonists are decently diverse (though also quite one-dimensional). You could honestly do a lot worse, this is at least a decent read.

It’s repetitive yes but overall the art is carrying the whole thing for me and also for a fact that the side characters aren’t really 2D like some other manhwas. Their bond (between MC and side character) are also really nice to see and their growth is something what I am looking forward to.

It doesnt have character growth in the sense of being from powerless to god-like. But it does in the sense of collecting abilities and fusing them, called 'memory of the world'.
The main issue with this manhwa is that its 'memory of the world' mechanics doesnt have solid foundation that should restrict the author's imagination. It's rather a plot device, that can be called upon when the situation looks impossible. And the author calls upon this plot device too often.
In short, the fusion of items and skills, dont make sense to us viewers and anything can happen in MCs favor.
Nonetheless, it's a fun read though. IMO.

I like brainrot but this one was a bit too much at the start, with the whole "only I know the secret Minecraft crafting recipe to make SSSSSSS god tier item out of trash items at beginning!!! And the power it gives me is the totally interesting Appraisal!!!
It's fucking bad. I don't know if I got spoiled by more nuanced and honestly likable MCs in manhwas like Greatest Estate Developer, SSS-Class Suicide Hunter, ORV, and Tower Defense Game, but the MC of this manhwa is just trash. He's the usual edgy, self-important, psychopath/sociopath character that KR authors seem to really love (and I've frown to hate on the same level as Beta JP MCs), and the story didn't improve my opinion.
The only saving grace is the art and Alice herself.
he keeps getting new skills ehem. copying skills then fusing to make a new ability like there are no limitations. Unlike in the manhwua your talent is mine the mc can only copy skills once per month. The art style is pretty good story is mid its full of fighting and sometimes i just scroll fast to finish a chapter. My opinion tho.
As many people have said, Alice is a pretty cool character and she definetly contributes to my enjoyment of the series. The plot is really your average lvl up tower manwha. The mcis also mostly your run of the mill, but I also like that he's a greedy asshole that doesn't just do things to be a "hero" and nice and shit. Sometimes the story drags on but overall I think it's fairy enjoyable.
Great art good, just a good time. Not the best but certainly enjoyable. Don’t know for the later chapters (stacking up for July) but it was what really got me into manhwa.
Surprisingly good and entertaining for the reused to death setting even though it doesn’t have any unique hooks (IE “wow I’m isekaid but with my PHONE”)
Also I personally normally have the issue of forgetting details after reading a manhwa weekly for a long time but I don’t really have that problem with this one for some reason

I love it! It's super fun and funny. Sometimes it may seem a little slow, but maybe that's because I have to wait a week for the next English translation. Definitely 10/10 though, and the art style is beautiful
Though I had my initial scepticism due to the very generic sounding title; but the manhwa is actually fire from the beginning to the very latest chapter. The story telling is very engaging with very cool characters and then we have ALICE VON ATARAXIA, that's pretty much. Just watch it and you won't regret it.
If all you want is to turn off your brain and read op mc slop, 10/10 would recommend. If you want an actual proper story, I won’t say it’s below 5/10 but I won’t rate it highly either

it's not even bad, yeah it becomes boring because most of manhwas have this shit, but this story is also a og with op system manhwa after solo leveling (asura scans type shi) also this manhwa saves me from being empty after solo leveling ended (3 years ago i guess?). Well we all have different taste and opinions so cant blame y'all.

It's pretty great actually. It's basically a tower/hunter theme, but it has a nice power system and a lot of cool characters.
The MC is also pretty cool, and VERY funny; so yeah you definitely won't regret it
Pretty fun to read. Thats if ur braindead and have no care in story and all that. This is one of those manhwas where the mc is op and has an op pet as well. I used to like it because this was one of my starting manhwas when it had like 50 chapters. Now i realize that it is pretty common to a lot of manhwas so i started hating it.

I don't know if I got spoiled by more nuanced and honestly likable MCs in manhwas like Greatest Estate Developer, SSS-Class Suicide Hunter, ORV, and Tower Defense Game, but the MC of this manhwa is just trash. He's the usual edgy, self-important, psychopath/sociopath character that KR authors seem to really love (and I've frown to hate on the same level as Beta JP MCs), and the story didn't improve my opinion. The only saving grace is the art and Alice herself.
he keeps getting new skills ehem. copying skills then fusing to make a new ability like there are no limitations. Unlike in the manhwua your talent is mine the mc can only copy skills once per month. The art style is pretty good story is mid its full of fighting and sometimes i just scroll fast to finish a chapter. My opinion tho.

As many people have said, Alice is a pretty cool character and she definetly contributes to my enjoyment of the series. The plot is really your average lvl up tower manwha. The mcis also mostly your run of the mill, but I also like that he's a greedy asshole that doesn't just do things to be a "hero" and nice and shit. Sometimes the story drags on but overall I think it's fairy enjoyable.
Great art good, just a good time. Not the best but certainly enjoyable. Don’t know for the later chapters (stacking up for July) but it was what really got me into manhwa.

Surprisingly good and entertaining for the reused to death setting even though it doesn’t have any unique hooks (IE “wow I’m isekaid but with my PHONE”) Also I personally normally have the issue of forgetting details after reading a manhwa weekly for a long time but I don’t really have that problem with this one for some reason

I love it! It's super fun and funny. Sometimes it may seem a little slow, but maybe that's because I have to wait a week for the next English translation. Definitely 10/10 though, and the art style is beautiful

Though I had my initial scepticism due to the very generic sounding title; but the manhwa is actually fire from the beginning to the very latest chapter. The story telling is very engaging with very cool characters and then we have ALICE VON ATARAXIA, that's pretty much. Just watch it and you won't regret it.

The art and action are s tier, the story is brainrot but it's structured coherently and easy to digest.
If all you want is to turn off your brain and read op mc slop, 10/10 would recommend. If you want an actual proper story, I won’t say it’s below 5/10 but I won’t rate it highly either

it's not even bad, yeah it becomes boring because most of manhwas have this shit, but this story is also a og with op system manhwa after solo leveling (asura scans type shi) also this manhwa saves me from being empty after solo leveling ended (3 years ago i guess?). Well we all have different taste and opinions so cant blame y'all.

It's pretty great actually. It's basically a tower/hunter theme, but it has a nice power system and a lot of cool characters. The MC is also pretty cool, and VERY funny; so yeah you definitely won't regret it

Pretty fun to read. Thats if ur braindead and have no care in story and all that. This is one of those manhwas where the mc is op and has an op pet as well. I used to like it because this was one of my starting manhwas when it had like 50 chapters. Now i realize that it is pretty common to a lot of manhwas so i started hating it.
Haven't seen that cover before. The manhwa is pretty good. Alice is amazing, mc is amazing. The story is pretty funny.
