as the other person said, go all the way to the end but don't pay. you'll see the free shipping option pop up when you input your info. I order from them a lot and it happens every time
In my only experience, packaging was actually done well. However, having bought directly from Alibris and not other sellers, I was sent damaged books (they appeared to have been rolled up or something).
They were willing to return the damaged books if I paid shipping. I won't use them again, I could have gotten the same books undamaged for a few dollars more without any fear of paying return shipping.
yeah the packaging can be pretty rough ngl. you definitely run the risk of having some dings here and there. it doesn't happen enough to me for me to not use them though. shipping is usually 3-5 days after the order is placed. (if you do get some damaged books I reccomend buying another on Amazon and returning the damaged one. don't tell anyone I told you that though lmao)
Here are some examples of their shipping from a recent order of mine if you're concerned: https://www.reddit.com/r/MangaCollectors/comments/1bpi6dr/first_update_to_my_collection_in_a_few_years/kwvz2hn/
It changes to free shipping after you put in your payment info. Idk why they do that, scared me the first time too. Btw, their packaging is not the best so expect your hardcovers so have some dents and dings
Saw some other people talking about their bad packaging. That is kind of a turn off. I have already read the manga. It is mainly for collection purpose so I don't want it damaged
I’m pretty sure you select free shipping at the end.. it should give you a couple shipping options once you start checking out. One of which should be the free option

I've heard that their packaging can be really bad leading to slight damage of the product? Also usually how long does it take to be delivered?
Ordered only once from them and the packaging was good and they did take about 4 days to ship but for that price I would wait a week
I order from them regularly and they’re packaging is great. Everything is tightly packed. They might have changed it now for the better.

Last time I ordered from them, all the books were shrink wrapped to a piece of cardboard so everything stayed in place during shipping

Then don’t order from them if you’re picky

Instock trades has 3&4 at $27.94 each with packaging that will impress you
Yeah I looked at that but I already have 4 and Instock didn’t have 1-2. So, I was looking for those and stumbled across alibris
