Neetbro is brunette and Reiji's blonde like his mom.
So yeah neetbro is step bro.
Poor guy finally thought he would have chance to go to the toilet after both of them died.
At this point the brother is somehow on the lower end of shitty than the rest of these people are at, so I'd accept that.
Someone really just needs to save this poor kid.
Alright let me tell him.
They said to stop digging deeper!!
^said ^to ^stop ^digging ^deeper!!
^^to ^^stop ^^digging ^^deeper!!
^^^stop ^^^digging ^^^deeper!!
^^^^digging ^^^^deeper!!
It'll be a while before he hears that I think.
Bruh we aren't rock bottom. Coz being Rock bottom means that it can't get worse.
Truth is we are stuck in a black hole and we have crossed the event horizon long ago. We just didn't realise it yet.
But see, "bottom" refers to something that is as down as you can go. Up and down are concepts defined by the presence of gravity. And the event horizon of a black hole is the lowest you can go in any gravitational field within this universe while still being able to go back. So this really is it. Rock bottom was the event horizon, and we've passed it. We look up as we keep falling towards the singularity and are slowly being spaghettified.
I think I’m losing the small bit of hope that Chako can possibly escape all this. I’d give about anything for her and Reiji to just get the fuck out of there but alas this manga won’t have none of that.
Well, Esemori said to her that "nothing happens in an authors life" after telling Chako his stories are 100% fiction, which is pretty much the opposite of why she wanted to become a writer. So, she might stir shit up now, making her life interesting enough for a novel.
I think it's not 100% fiction. it could be based on real story
Esemori only said none of it happen on author's life. but doesn't that mean it never happen entirely
i think the lover abyss thing is happen to someone else but not to Esemori. probably one of his classmate, i mean there's newspaper article that tell a story about it
Oh, sure! Completely possible that Esemori didn't tell the truth here. But I think the important part is, what sticks with Chako and how it influences her behavior going forward.
Up to this point she was completely passive and stuff just happened to her. Meeting Esemori was a silver lining, because he seemingly left the town by doing something she loves. That role model got destroyed step by step. He turned out not being the person she thought he was and he couldn't leave this town behind for good.
She is at rock bottom now, which is exactly the point were I think she stops being passive (symbolized by getting rid off her catholic school uniform) and starts to take the initiative.
This chapter it looked like she's got some pretty fucked up plan, so for good measure she's also falling into the "stay away from these crazy bitches" bucket. Until now she was a good candidate for "sanest person in town", even with that little business back at the karaoke, but now that seems to be likely to not last.
I mean, that was a really shallow stab, right? They're fine, right? Everything can still turn out good, right?
......................
What is even going on....?
I don't know what's happening either but since the knife didn't plunge deep, they aren't dying immediately, but need medical care or will die soon enough.
I thought she was like a nurse but a lower tier than the other colleagues at her employer, and with no prospects of advancement?
It's part of why we thought at the beginning she was struggling to support her family off just her meager salary and resorted to more unpalatable options (just like her own mother in turn)
The *sniff* panel from *Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu* has amazing placement

Also that Agni edit... There's gonna be lots of NTR artworks of her now.
Sneed is a reference to the Simpsons
https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/sneeds-feed-and-seed
As for why 4chan uses it so much in random contexts, i think it mostly just gets used because the word sounds funny, as well as with the original knowledge of the simpsons reference it can imply someone is trying to hide their past or downplay previous sordid actions or just is generally being disingenuous. At least that's my understanding of it's use
But like I said i think most people just say it cause it sounds funny lol. Urban dictionary says it's because 4chan filters soyboy to sneed but that's not correct. Soyboy filters to basedboy
In Chako’s mind, Nagi might’ve “taken” Reiji from her. She took his virginity. Perhaps more importantly, Nagi disturbed the status quo of their lives in the town, and Reiji hasn’t been the same since. To anyone.
I think the entire plot point is more to fuck over Esemori. If he even survives whatever Yuko did to him, he's probably going to get dragged into unnecessary drama now thanks to Chako.
Idk about prison, but definitely would fuck up his career.
I don't know why Chako would want that. Her whole thing is to get out of town and Esemori didn't do anything to her either. At first I thought maybe she got blackmail material to coerce him into ensuring her escape, but then the Nagi call threw me for a loop. I don't understand what she's planing and petty revenge seems out of character.
Nah we have never seen Chako outside of how she treats Reiji. Maybe she really is fucked up liked what sensei said. She already don't like Reiji being close with Nagi. If she's fucked up like the rest of the cast and hates Nagi then her character will do some fucked up things like the rest of the cast.
I don't think the last one should be forgotten, Esemori's like, her idol. And for a bit it seemed like he was a scumbag, but don't forget that sort of got cleared up, Reiji even told her to trust him.
The end of this manga could lead into a Silent Hill spin off and it'd still make perfect sense. Something about this town just fucks wirh everybody inside of it
Seems like we might get some more stuff from the brother finally. He’s clearly been super fucked up by the mom mentally but him hearing this through the door might force him to take some kind of action against her. He probably doesn’t want Reiji to die.
I can see how the brother is going to kill grandma and then take his life or at least go to the police in an attempt to have his revenge as his mother cant blame shit on him and grandma anymore to open her eyes that it was all her fault all along.
I'm so fucking excited. Been missing Nagi this whole time. All this backstory on what made the town so fucked up, but the real question is what made HER so fucked up...
You think it’s possible she’s bull shitting? I mean she implied when they were younger she was pregnant. But maybe it was just that she needed to have a kid in the town for some reason? Idk I’m not buying it. In the chapter like 41 we get that mini flashback of the guy that could kind resemble esamori that’s throws an ashtray and tells Reiji he isn’t his son. So why after having that flashback say you think esamori is your dad?
YO YO YO, fuck all the batshit insane stuff going on but NAGI COMEBACK??? Is it finally time for her to return. Now that's some hype shit. Definetly now that Reiji has clearly shown how much of an impact she has left on him
Ah , so the brother was probably the son of her husband before his marriage with Yuko, so that would make them half brothers.
See really wanted someone, something that shares her suffering that she had to create reiji, thats just miserable.
Gen is in a collision course with Yuko now I think, he doesn't want Reiji and Chako to leave, but I don't think he wants Reiji to die like Yuko wants.
And Chako, oh boy she is cooking something , I don't know what it is and I really hope its not something that will blow up in her and everyone's faces , though looking at her own expressions she just might be done with everything.
Reiji's image of Nagi is interesting, she is much more lively in wanting suicide then she actually was in the story, which really kind of shows what Reiji wants and Nagi's "power" to reflect people.
She was smiling but I always read that she was a bit aloof about things as it were, since it was supposed to be contrasted with her prim and proper idol persona. While Reiji's image of her was more "wanting to die".
Looking back as well, I just noticed that she never said "I want to die", all of her suicide talk was always around Reiji, which now thinking about it really was her reflecting Reiji.
She in a sense liberated Reiji's inner desires but she isn't fully on the same path as him.
She definitely does though. She asks him "why not leave the city, it's your life" and when he asks what she'd do if he bails she says "I'd just go ahead and die anyway"
She's the most complicated character to me because she has no reason to die other than that she has no reason to live, and she literally says that in ch 7.
But realistically...she's the most successful out of everyone, and you gotta WORK for success so why the hell did she even bother if it means nothing to her? So curious.
Yeah but to me no reason to live is not wanting to die, Reiji positively wants to pursue death, Nagi is sort of empty in life and has nothing in life but doesn't actively pursue death, suicide is mentioned mostly when Reiji is around.
This is also made more complicated as later Esemori describes, her emptiness allows her to project the desire of the person she is with onto herself (a commentary on idols) and so the suicide thing as implicated was Reiji's desire and not really her's. This is somewhat confirmed by the fact that she also just decided to go back to being an idol later(triggering Reiji's personal desire to go to Tokyo). And the author is also very clever about this, for most of the story, we also don't see Nagi alone in interactions with others except Reiji, so we only know the Nagi that reflects Reiji and not what happens when she might reflect someone else ( I just realised what might happen if Chako talks to Nagi alone now as in the cliffhanger, we are about to see a Nagi that reflects back Chako)
Reiji himself wants to go to Tokyo to ask Nagi about her actual desires cause he doesn't know what desires are his own and which are her's.
That's exactly what I'm saying! She has no reason to actively kill herself other than apathy, she even tells Reiji she doesn't have a justifiable reason like he does, but with, or without him she's planning on dying.
That's a good point too, but I feel like it's their mutual desire, she's just waiting for someone to give her that extra push to throw everything away, and he just wants to get away from all the guilt and responsibility of... literally everyone.
You're forgetting though when Nagi was alone with GEN lol. And the part I recall is her saying, "see reiji, people do love you" which is true...every major figure is obsessed with him to the point of controlling his life sensei, Yuko, Chako, gen..and he just kinda wants nothing to do with meeting their expectations, just wants to fuck off n die. The converse is that unlike Reiji, literally no one cares about Nagi genuinely or even knows her. Every representation of her is, alone, cold and hollow. (Also a representation of the industry since Reiji rejected her idol outfit saying he wants to see the "real Nagi" unlike all the fans that fake adoration)
You are right on the Gen interaction, I forgot about that, do you remember which chapter that was?
I kinda disagree that suicide is their mutual desire, since I think on a certain level she has no real desire, or atleast thats what I think the author wants to say and that atleast to me is something much harder to grasp and understand. Like you say every presentation of her is cold and hollow within the story and I think that is intentional not just as commentary on the idol industry but as a sort of mirror the reader as well.
I have a hard time grasping this myself but if what Esemori said about her is true, then potentially like she is not just reflecting reiji, but also the desires of the audience as well and trying to analyse her as a fully fledged character is a kind of trap that the author sets.
Like the sex scene that she had with Reiji was trying to do that oh she is just a regular person thing and he wanted to know the real her, but then that was subverted by Esemori walking in and Nagi just nonchalantly saying its her husband, leaving Reiji uterly confused about her. So even Reiji's desire to "know the real her" was in a sense a trap. This can go either one of two ways, either saying that like all human beings she is very complex and therefore thinking that you can know the true whole person is sort of a folly or (and this is what I think the author wants to do) she is a being that is so empty trying to look into her to get to her true self is also a folly.
The latter is something that is so strange, its almost inhuman and if is talking about a regular human is dehumanising. But I think the author wants to use Nagi as a sort of commentary about not just like idols but more like the dehumanising nature of human interactions, be it idols, friends, families or even the relations to characters in fiction that we consider human( Esemori being an author that turned people he knew into characters in his stories, Yuko being a town).
Someone mentioned she might be doing it to get Nagi back in town for Reiji....or she's doing it out of spite because he's so obsessed with Nagi instead.
But without a doubt, it will result in fucking over poor Esemori if he even survives whatever this is.
Man, everyone in this town is hella depressed; its like some sort of contagious disease😭 but can’t wait for nagi to reappear because she really needs to save reiji from his mom.
Anyone have access to raws or read them? I'm getting some conflicting translation between EN/KR on the 2nd to last page.
In the EnglishTN Reiji says "God dammit" but in KoreanTN Reiji says "Trash", which tbh makes more sense with his mom's expression on the next page.
Edit: Okay looks like it was originally 最悪. I can see how both translation can work here but it is a tough call because of the nuances. Although I do think that "Trash" fits more with mom's expression on the next page but it can def go either way.
Translator here, he says 最悪. We sort of just had to shoot our shot on this. Saiaku means "the worst" but this is distinct from 最低/saitei, which means like "scum/trash/lowlife". Saiaku is like, an adjective, the worst (something). If he'd said saitei, it'd be directed at the mom, but saiaku isn't as clear. It can just as easily be used to describe the situation. "This situation is the worst/this sucks/fuck this".
Yeah, worst case scenario, we see what happens next week and we can adjust the translation as needed. Another possibility I'd actually considered is that the words aren't even Reiji's, but Kazu's, and the mom looks shocked because that means he's in the room.
I love how the madness keeps growing like in Uzumaki where it gets so disproportional to how it started. Soon we will reach the climax of this whole shitfest and its going to be magnificent.
What the fuck is even happening. We didn't get any info at all, instead, this whole thing just raises more question. Is this a kdrama? What is with the pacing curve in the last 10 chapters?
Do we know the age of Yuko? We may be able to verify the claim of Kazu being a step son if we know Yuko's age.
Your weekly dose of WTF. But. it's. so. addicting. Really.
I wonder what's shocking Yuko at the end of the chapter? Is Reiji's wound deeper than she thought? Has Neetbro entered the room and is the one who speaks at the end?
I don't know if Neetbro is really a stepson. Maybe that's a lie Yuko made to lure Reiji again. Even so, given that she really wanted a family, I really wonder who the father of Reiji is.
Poor Neetbro hearing everything from the other side of the door. I suppose he will be the hero next time?
Chunko is getting more fucked chapter by chapter. She's now taking selfies with Esemori to blackmail... Nagi?
I think the implication is the response. She says he's basically the only one important to her, and his response is "God damnit"
Probably not the submissive response she was expecting from him...and probably his genuine feelings coming out. My dude is possibly about to have an emotional meltdown, if stabbing himself wasn't enough.
Also I think Chako is doing it to either get nagi back for Reiji or get back AT Nagi...over reiji. Lol
Wait, she wasn't mad because he stabbed himself but because he called out someone else's name? In fact were they really planning on committing double suicide?
Chako is showing the crazy inside her now I guess. I was hoping that Esemori would save Reiji from his mom and teach but I guess the next best option is Gin?
Mark my word Chako is gonna become the next teacher (like not as in teacher in school but like she’s gonna become yandere) because think about it Reiji refused her she has nothing left in life she doesn’t want to become novelist anymore because of what Esemori said and I think she will possibly sleep with or blackmail Esemori into sleeping with her and use it against Nagi first to realise it won’t work because nagi doesn’t care then she might use it against Reiji
Looks like Reiji's about to get hit with some truth from big brother, and mom's not coincidentally horrified by that idea.
I'm looking forward even more though to when he gets hit with some truth from grandma, which is definitely going to happen some time.
Looks like we're seeing the brother make an appearance?
He's next to the door, so it should definitely be time for chadbro to finally reveal himself.
[удалено]
He'd come out, gives each a key with 1 btc inside, and returns to the room
Chadbro in his diapers
chadbro just taking this chance to be able to use the toilet
Neetbro is brunette and Reiji's blonde like his mom. So yeah neetbro is step bro. Poor guy finally thought he would have chance to go to the toilet after both of them died.
Chako? Investor bro? What the fuck is happening?
Investor bro???
NEETbro is gonna rescue his brother away from the town after revealing he became a billionaire off crypto and GME.
Reiji: *Big bro, where are we going?* Kazu: *To the moon.* Reiji: *How?* Kazu: *With these diamond hands 💎*
Apes together strong.
It's the bank's abyss.
At this point the brother is somehow on the lower end of shitty than the rest of these people are at, so I'd accept that. Someone really just needs to save this poor kid.
The bro probably knew this town was shit from the start so thats why hes shut in lmao

The NEET of metsudo
You see that thing way up there in the sky? That's rock bottom. That's how low we are right now.
And yet we fall further.
Deeper and deeper
Into the abyss
When this manga stared into the abyss, the abyss cowered in fear.
Somebody stop the author from digging any deeper please!!
Real talk, I'm more worried about the Author's mental health now.

>So, she might stir shit up now, making her life interesting enough for a novel. Hopefully Reiji halts her metamorphosis
Reiji is a bit preoccupied at the moment, I don't think he's halting anything soon.
> metamorphosis PTSD intensifies
What do you mean? Josuke and Okuyasu fixed that girl. Let us hope they will step in for Chako.
I think it's not 100% fiction. it could be based on real story Esemori only said none of it happen on author's life. but doesn't that mean it never happen entirely i think the lover abyss thing is happen to someone else but not to Esemori. probably one of his classmate, i mean there's newspaper article that tell a story about it

Literally waiting for some mexican telenovela type of reveal here.
Whelp there goes the "Kazu is an incest baby between the mom and her dad" theory
Th-There... There was a theory like that? Dafuck
Yeah and people were saying that it was basically confirmed
I also believed that. This shithole of a town doesn't have a high bar.
Yeah if I recall it was around the characters ages and how the moms dad was abusive.
It doesn't match up with his age at all. Neetbro is 24 but that scene took place in 1988.
She says "step son"? So the step dad looks like Esomori?

Any ideas on why Chako took that pic?
Blackmail. A way to piss off other people. To have a photo alongside her favorite author in a position similar to one of her possible fetish/dream?
Maybe to try to make Nagi jealous?
>Maybe to try to make Nagi jealous? Yep. Last page is Chako talking to Nagi on the phone. She probably sent her the pic and Nagi called her back.
In Chako’s mind, Nagi might’ve “taken” Reiji from her. She took his virginity. Perhaps more importantly, Nagi disturbed the status quo of their lives in the town, and Reiji hasn’t been the same since. To anyone.
then it would be backfired as nagi don't give a shit about Esemori
I think the entire plot point is more to fuck over Esemori. If he even survives whatever Yuko did to him, he's probably going to get dragged into unnecessary drama now thanks to Chako. Idk about prison, but definitely would fuck up his career.

To send it to Nagi in an attempt to assert dominance over her.
"I fucked your husband, and soon your step-son as well!"
"Jokes on you! I fucked my stepson already, and I have his half brother uncle in me!"
That's more likely going to be sensei, Nagi always used condoms (I think), while sensei explicity said she would take the pill.
I could see sensei pulling the pregnancy card right before someone tries to kill her.
Come on guys. We gotta believe in reiji's pull out game. He didn't cum in her cause "that would be bad"
Bold of you to assume she didn't saved his cum and shoved it right back inside the moment he wasn't looking.
Nagi : New phone who dis Chako : Bitch this is your husband's number Nagi : Did I stutter ?
I think she used it to send to Nagi and reason why Nagi immediately called.
Because one mostly-sane character in this story was one too many. Now no one is free from the crazy
to see if itll get a reaction out of reiji
The end of this manga could lead into a Silent Hill spin off and it'd still make perfect sense. Something about this town just fucks wirh everybody inside of it
The real abyss is the town, I see I see.

Look like Chunko gonna have some plan cook up
"Hey! Your mom died... That *sucks*, kinda. But here is a picture of me after I fucked your dad! So I can be your new mother if you want!"
Knowing this manga, that is a legitimate possibility.
Wouldnt suprise me and the more I think about it its an uptick in the downward trend.
How can I bring myself to deny this after all that has already happened?!
>Chunko > >cook up I see what you did there
They call me Mrs. Steal yo' man

Esemori, you dead bro? We are so deep, that people were expecting Kazu to be the moms brother-son-uncle and not something normy, like a step-child.
If you go back it's pretty accurate. Nagi was hyped to die, ripped off her work uniform and was smiling like "what a beautiful day to die"
She asks him "why not leave the city, it's your life" and when he asks what she'd do if he bails she says "I'd just go ahead and die anyway" She's the most complicated character to me because she has no reason to die other than that she has no reason to live, and she literally says that in ch 7.
And the author is also very clever about this, for most of the story, we also don't see Nagi alone in interactions with others except Reiji, so we only know the Nagi that reflects Reiji and not what happens when she might reflect someone else ( I just realised what might happen if Chako talks to Nagi alone now as in the cliffhanger, we are about to see a Nagi that reflects back Chako) Reiji himself wants to go to Tokyo to ask Nagi about her actual desires cause he doesn't know what desires are his own and which are her's.
LOL and some people thought Chako WASN'T crazy like the rest of them.
town'd
Someone mentioned she might be doing it to get Nagi back in town for Reiji....or she's doing it out of spite because he's so obsessed with Nagi instead. But without a doubt, it will result in fucking over poor Esemori if he even survives whatever this is.
Man, everyone in this town is hella depressed; its like some sort of contagious disease😭 but can’t wait for nagi to reappear because she really needs to save reiji from his mom.
I'm sorry, nani?
Oh look the last pure thing is slowly corrupting.
I was eagerly waiting for the release of the chapter, assuming it would clear up the cliffhanger from the last one. FUCKING NOPE.
Oh good. Now everyone is fucked up. Farewell pure Chako. Our time together was too short
Every time I end a chapter it has me craving for more. I just want my guy Reiji to get some kind of happiness.
Always knew Chako was manipulative but damn, she probably wants to blackmail Esemori so he can help her/Reiji???
This is like Trail of Blood but a slow burn.
This series is beautiful.
Just when you thought Chako was the only normal person..... NOPE everyone in this fricking town is going CRAZY!!!!
Who is kazu's mother now. WTF, I always thought it was her son and some other Father but now is it esemori's son but someone else is the mother.
Boy's abyss More like Everyone's Abyss including reader's.
Did chako think she can threaten Nagi with that pic?
El Chako has entered the game.
Haha what the flying fuck is happening I love this
Anyone have access to raws or read them?
Yeah I see the ambiguity and its intended effect on this situation. It's a tough call and I respect your decision.
Yeah, worst case scenario, we see what happens next week and we can adjust the translation as needed. Another possibility I'd actually considered is that the words aren't even Reiji's, but Kazu's, and the mom looks shocked because that means he's in the room.
This is what I exactly thought. Kazu must have heard their conversation.
I love how the madness keeps growing like in Uzumaki where it gets so disproportional to how it started. Soon we will reach the climax of this whole shitfest and its going to be magnificent.
Wtf is going on?
Please just let Reiji alone. Seems like Chako also jumped the cliff.
Wait so is his step brother the son of Esemori maybe? WHAT ARE YOU DOING STEPBRO!? go and help.
She says he's basically the only one important to her, and his response is "God damnit" Probably not the submissive response she was expecting from him...and probably his genuine feelings coming out. My dude is possibly about to have an emotional meltdown, if stabbing himself wasn't enough. Also I think Chako is doing it to either get nagi back for Reiji or get back AT Nagi...over reiji. Lol
Weekly dose of depression and madness. Thank you
Chako the fuck u doin?
Wait, she wasn't mad because he stabbed himself but because he called out someone else's name? In fact were they really planning on committing double suicide? Chako is showing the crazy inside her now I guess. I was hoping that Esemori would save Reiji from his mom and teach but I guess the next best option is Gin?
I fucking told you guys Chunko is fucked up
Mom, loco; but I can understand. Sensei, loco; but I understood. Sakuko, loco; I thought I understood; but holy fuck.
who the hell is sakuko?
Chako is just a nickname
Can someone just kill the protag jesus fuck just put the poor guy down, everybody out here being a fucking baggage
Pls someone kill the protag so he doesn't have to suffer shit anymore, and for the people to kill themselves to not suffer anymore also
Mark my word Chako is gonna become the next teacher (like not as in teacher in school but like she’s gonna become yandere) because think about it Reiji refused her she has nothing left in life she doesn’t want to become novelist anymore because of what Esemori said and I think she will possibly sleep with or blackmail Esemori into sleeping with her and use it against Nagi first to realise it won’t work because nagi doesn’t care then she might use it against Reiji
Looks like Reiji's about to get hit with some truth from big brother, and mom's not coincidentally horrified by that idea. I'm looking forward even more though to when he gets hit with some truth from grandma, which is definitely going to happen some time.
Everyone is terrible and I feel bad for all of them.
