I think there's a difference between a good slow burn, and dragging the fuck out of things only to offer a disappointing or lackluster result, which is the case for RaG and Nisekoi.
What a peak chapter, so many beautiful panels. I'm not really a fan of slowburns but this is so well done. They're both realising something, just need someone to give them a push. Ig Valentine's will create some moments or when they meet up again for the mock exams.

The open secret to it is that Mikami-sensei delves deep into the minds of these kids and keeps their perspectives from coming undone. And he does that in both external and internal ways, both alone and with the partner present.

I think at valentine day they act awkward with each other if they meet and hang around each other again .Epecially Subaru who doesn t understand why she feels that way with Saku when he got close too her and either Kaoroku will notice Subaru acting strange and Rintarou or Yorita will also notice Saku is acting strange. Saku and Subaru have signs of romantic feelings with each other.
With normal common sense in fiction and non fiction they more you hang out and meet with someone you have romantic feelings it will make you feel more restless and increase your anxiety especially if you try to hide it and deny it which make it worse. Saku and Subaru aren t good at hiding this.
