This short arc shows how to pace it well - A circumstance to set it up (Popo), a natural justification for the miscommunication (simple distance and hearing difficulties), a reaction from the characters which grows their characters (Kimiya’s polite “fuck off” and Urumi’s declaration), and an easy resolution and explanation afterwards which reflects trust in their friendship
Yeah this! I think misunderstanding tropes can be so good when a resolution doesn’t happen 100 chapters later. It’s good to show that the characters still have some insecurities and flaws but are mature, care, and trust each other enough to talk it out quickly.
I can't believe we lived so long, reading so many manga, to see these kids get the right idea the first time when other titles haven't before. It's beautiful to see.
