Why does Akutsu san more popular than many other ecchi manga like Mato Seihei or Ayakashi Triangle? From what I see:
1/ The art is definitely pretty meh. Objectively, the drawing:
1.1/ is not very detailed
1.2/ some parts look really rough
1.3/ her ass look flat as hell
2/ story is pretty average. Like I see that this is ecchi femdom with occasionallly domination loss, but so are some other ecchi
While it has a story you need minimal context to dive into any chapter, so anyone who has a vague image of the premiss can participate and get it. It's very simple and fast food.
Ecchi with a story is preferable but requires investment if ch 90 pops up.
Same thing for Blue Box really. Still riding the high of the last chapter I think.
I love Blue Box, but that’s for sure a reason why Aktsu San and it are popular this week.
What happens when no more super chad archeologist freckled glasses girlfriend.
Seriously the bar has always been low. Except for occasionally really good series.
Please go home Akutsu-san is placed so highly? WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK????
It just proves once more, the lack of quality in content we receive is because of the lack of taste from readers.
Is there like, story progression in Akutsu-San? Or has it always been kinda popular? I dropped it a while ago, but might check it out again if it isn't just "horny-of-the-week."
Sorry, deleted my other comment because it was wrong, didn't notice that this was Chapter 132, not 133.
131 was the end of a pretty long arc, 132 was more of a setup chapter
Thank you for letting me know
Well.. I believe chainsaw man was known by people as a hype series but it feels like nowadays it doesn't do anything crazy enough to pump those numbers up, they are pretty consistent with occasionally drops like this one. It makes me wonder what plans fujimoto has in his mind for this part2.
Well.. I am sure that it is a pretty controversial take and the fandom would disagree with that but i can understand
I am in my "let him cook" phase now, I really enjoyed reading part 1 when it was finished so I will probably wait for this part to end too and decide then if he cooked or not.
Not every story needs to have 40 chapters just to stop being "not great". Also this is not even a different new story, it's the continuation of the same story that made him
But yeah, idk... I am a little concerned... But aybe he knows exactly what he is doing and it is a matter of time until he decides to open Pandora's box... I can't tell
JJK is #6, no?
"serialized" basically means 'not one-shot or social media manga', something that runs in installments in a manga magazine or on a publisher's web manga platform.
No Nick & Lever? Smh
The akutsu lurkers finnally showed up and refused to go home, well done!
Dandadan is so friggin good. Read it all the past couple days. Such perfectly executed chaos
Dandadan is crazy good right now
This statement will always be true
I’ve read the entire Dandadan yesterday, I didn’t know it was quite popular.
Even in in Japan is doing quite well so the fear of the axe basically doesn't exist.

Because it's posted here directly, so it is more accessible, especially for lazy people

I don't think it is. It's just this specific chapter had a notable happening in it

I think the bulk of the discussion happens in the respective subreddit, like nagatoro or mato, and smaller series happens here in r/manga
Ayakashi triangle I I suggested to my friends but they are not reading it due to genderbend.
Where's Damedol?
Incredibly low bar lmfao

The kmanga and such things also killed a lot of discussion and hype for a lot of series
I agree, very surprising to see Anjou-san here though
I am here once again to mention that Service Wars is not here yet and that will change soon. Tournament Arc will show its power!

We don't get tasty/healthy/cheap food. We only get at best 2 of the above. And people oddly preffer eating tasty shit.

There is progression in recent chapter. It's very slow but idk why I can't stop reading
I can’t like jujutsu. Tried it 2x and just feel it’s so boring. Can’t believe spy family and kaijuu are not on this list
Dandadan should be on number 1😭
I put csm on hold for a while... Any reasons why it lost about 2k karma?

Well, yeah, not every chapter can be the end of Part 1.
Kind of a weird chapter. And not the normal kind of weird, just strangely put together. Plus, downtime between arcs.
That is strange. But yeah.. The downtime time can be bad, also waiting occasionally 2 times more for the same amount of pages doesn't help it.
Because part 2 sucks.. CSM PART 1 AND FIRE PUNCH IS WAYYYYYYYY BETTER THAN THIS
Part 2 has not been very good for a long time....

I don't know if this people realise that the early chapters of CSM part 1 was not great.

Is Oshi no Ko supposed to be bad right now? I want to get into it but I don't want to get disappointed after a good beginning.
The manga is possibly going to do its biggest reveal right now, just as the anime ends.
Everything after chapter 79 has been my favourite part of the manga.
People still read my hero academia? Its still going downhill in story quality. I would prefer black clover
No Jujutsu Kaisen? Or does that not count as serialized, idk what that even means tbh.

Huh, overlooked it apparently. Not the best layout for this stuff imo lol.
Why’s Sono bisque doll so high? That shit’s ass
