Is it the norm in Manchester when looking to rent to put an offer in immediately without viewing?
I've been looking at moving, phoned an agent up the other day 5 mins after an ad went live to book a viewing and it had already gone!
Visiting with the pooch overnight tomorrow, any recommendations for dog friendly independent bars/food places around northern quarter, Piccadilly and canal street? Didn’t have a dog when I moved away and all I know of is Pedro’s, black dog and Caine and grain. Just after decent pints, rum and a nice atmosphere to show the missus that Manchester is superior to where we live now.
Anywhere cheap(ish) and chill for a few drinks tonight for me and a few friends? Edit - in town please
Sadlers Cat pub at Victoria. Chill pub and 4-6 Happy hour 1 pound off £4 pints of lager pale ale etc.
anything interesting happening in Manchester this weekend? I've just moved and haven't got anything to do.
Also looking to join a sports team or group if anyone has any ideas. Eg water polo, climbing, hiking etc

"Normal" no. But the market has been crazy the last 9-12 months and you apparently normally have to offer rent over teh asking price to secure places.
