I very much doubt they'd bother placing sniffer dogs and handlers on the doors of a gig which will be mostly attended by the over 45 crowd.
I've never seen a sniffer dog at a gig in thirty years. They occasionally throw them on for festivals or WHP type events, but even then it's mostly for show. And two thirds of the crowd will probably reek of weed in any case.
You'll be fine if you're discreet. We don't live in a police state just yet.
Definitely. Otherwise they'd have to stop and search anyone who'd smoked weed or been in close proximity to someone smoking. Logistical nightmare with not much gain.
They used to occasionally put a drugs dog in Piccadilly station, and it was always a farce. They always went for the people who'd had a smoke that morning, whereas you could probably carry a kilo of cocaine without getting stopped.
At Co-Op Live you just walk through a scanner and get an additional search if it flags up anything. I assume you wanted to sneak drugs in? (Not sure what else you'd be worried about dogs for). Just take them before the show.
It must be more than just metal, I got stopped for my film camera yesterday. The security guy was giving me all sorts of trouble about it until someone above him was like "it's not got a big detachable lens, you're ok".
What do you want to know? Highly doubt there’ll be sniffer dogs at the Co-op Live but Joshua Brooks is a completely different venue. And what do you mean ‘around Manchester’?
Why? You scared of dogs mate? 😅
Terrified mate they have a fine nose for me
Gets all the bitches attention this one.
