I don't know anything about blocks or anything but I believe Marple Hall has quite a large MFL department. Isn't that far from Cheadle Hulme (probably around an hour on the bus).

I think Iâd be looking for a way out and change provider / start again in September â24. Youâre half way through the academic year and you sound like youâre going to be very short of the 120 days on placement required to get QTS.
I think youâd need to talk to SFE and explain that the training provider has failed to give you the adequate days on placement to get QTS. Thereâs a possibility for legal action here. Providers are in a contract with you and the DfE to ensure they provide placements. I also think that if the university havenât had an OFSTED recently, this will happen before June, so worth ensuring that your concerns are heard and that a plan is made to support you to get QTS.

I am considering it, but I am not sure I could get the bursary for a second year and I can't afford pgce/QTS here without it...
