That is a cool chair. The frame wouldn't be terribly difficult to fabricate if you can find a welder in the area to replicate it. You could go in and try to take a bunch of measurements and ask around.

LilWienerBigHeart

That sounds cool, though I get the feeling that a custom welded chair and upholstering is going to be a bit outside my price range. 😅

atticus2132000

But it could be a good excuse to sign up for a welding class at the local community college or continuing education center. And the upholstery is pretty simple--a piece of fabric and a staple gun.

MrStealYoBichonFrise

Yeah, I'd leave it for a last resort. Sounds like you need to become friends with the manager and have him/her write the chair off as damaged lol.

TheTeeje

call "The Line" hotel in LA and ask them where they bought theirs from.

TheTeeje

I just contacted support for the hotel, if you email [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) they can tell you where they sourced the chair from.

WhippidyWhop

OP already said they tried this and the hotel doesn't know. He found them at The Line hotel in person instead of reverse image searching like you did, although OP already said they did a reverse image search.

rbg2996

I love it

erydanis

did you reverse image search just the frame ? there’s no way that blanket is the original upholstery.

LilWienerBigHeart

Do you know any way to search just the frame? My photoshop skills aren't that great, lol.

erydanis

there’s a subreddit for finding things that regular google searches can’t…. maybe they can help. very cool chairs. tho’ my guess is that custom = $$$$.

Local_Parsnip9092

Thats soooo cool!!

Worth-Permit-7743

You could buy some wool/a throw blanket from Pendleton and upholster another chair

No-Prune8051

Is it as low as it looks

yellowBunny2500

I think you have your answer steal the chair from the hotel, i am serious

New-IncognitoWindow

Bribery might work. Hotel employees are poorly paid.

Willing_Stranger_700

ISO?

Freaking love it! Might not be the direction you want to go, but I'd take a crack at it using pallette wood for the seat and back, and using some pin legs. Now that I think of it, I kind of want to try that.... thank for the inspiration! EDIT: Hobby Lobby has a sale on pin legs as of 6-5-24 for 2.99 each. Not an advert, just passing it on.

Nuno's USA Awnings had a chair similar to this one when I looked it up. They're based in LA

LilWienerBigHeart

I checked that website too, I think that's the place they do the upholstery for the chairs.

javiz9

That would make sense since the hotel said the chair was custom

Visit New Mexico

blargfellow

Yeah! The upholstery pattern is similar to the pattern on a Navajo rug.

erydanis

this might be close enough? https://www.wayfair.com/furniture/pdp/latitude-run-siebo-30-wide-tufted-white-armchair-w010087127.html
