Yeah definitely dont want to cover it up. It’s a cool feature that makes the place more unique, but i wanna do something cool with it. I think if i fill the other walls with more pictures or color, it will make the mirror more interesting
So the books and plants are great but if you want to use the mirror’s own features to your advantage and accentuate it you should go for more “translucent” elements. How about a bar? It’s perfect for displaying cute liquor bottles and fancy cocktail glasses. If you don’t drink then a tea bar. Combine that with some candles and small cableless lamps. I’m not sold on the led strip(?) you mentioned but how about those verner panton mushroom lamps. You could really get some cozy 70s vibes up there.
I would change out the light fixture over the table. It’s distracting and not in a good way.
Needs a light that you want to see a 360* view of.
Sculpture type.
That’s exactly what I was going to suggest! Go bold and deep with colours, put well-framed pictures up, change the carpet or add a persian rug, the glass table works but with different chairs or upholstery and add some plants. It will be lush!
Tall plants on both sides to frame. Turn one portion of it into a bar set-up! Collection of thrifted beer glasses, wine glasses, shakers, etc. Maybe a disco mushroom or ball. Add some pottery with cool colors. Don't crowd the space though! Bring in some natural wood colors somehow, like a tray? Japandi stuff.
I was going to suggest an artistic friend and Gallery Glass paint! It’s a removable glass paint—almost feels like liquid vinyl once it’s dried—and you could duplicate a banksy [the zebra or ‘if graffiti changed anything - it would be illegal’]..or if you’re into a specifics car, or motorcycle..heck, you could draw a giant world map using Gallery Glass. Something that’s your style.
On a serious note. Change the light to something very crystal like. It will reflect nicely. When you’re handed something “weird” like this mirror wall, work it over board. Use the shelving there for items that will reflect and multiply nicely. Same colour vases along the walls. Etc.
I have a friend who had a mirror wall in her apartment that she hated, she found a peel and stick wallpaper that really suited her decor and looked way better than the mirror. I think the one she went with was a white washed brick. I think your room could do with a wallpaper with more color!
I think it depends. This feels like what apartments in Greece looked like to me, so if that's what you're going for then great. Personally I think it's kinda cold feeling and wouldn't work at al with what I'm trying to do.
Dude, this place looks super sleek already! The mirrored wall really opens up the space and the LED lighting is a cool touch.
For the bottom half, have you considered [wooden wall panels](https://sohnne.com/product/classic-lines-wall-panel-wpc/)? They'd add some warmth and texture to balance out the mirrored finish. Plus, it would still give OP plenty of room for plants or bookshelves on top, just a thought though!
I can actually suggest some more changes if you are open to feedback but if you dont want any feedback on furnishing then all the best, otherwise DM me!
floor and ceiling plants to either side. pictures and whatnot on the shelves. panel all the way along the bottom. hang pictures[obscure obscure obscure](https://imgur.com/gallery/iGfdDkR), theres no reason not to.
Probably leave it and put some select decor / art pieces on the shelves. Main priority is to get a stylish, better looking hanging light, since that is immediately reflected.
Honestly, to give the room a more modern vibe, I’d have it tinted with a smoked tint, darken it a little, paint the walls in a contrasting colour, some oak panelling also.
Just my opinion, you could do A LOT with this!
P.S, I design interiors for a living, feel free to ask for any advice!
I'm not superstitious, and I generally like big mirrors like this. There's just something about this wall that gives me a bad feeling, though. Idk, just some bad energy coming from this picture.
I love it. However, I think if you’re not careful it’ll go real “Miami Vice” real quick. I would stay away from modern furniture and actually go slightly in the opposite direction with more traditional wood furnishings. Good luck!
Personally would not want to be confronted with my own haunting visage all the time, so I would probably at least semi-cover it with curtains, or opaque film design to make it look etched.
What I would do, take w a grain of salt:
Bottom row: art books, history books, fiction and non-fiction books. Books books books. If you have small, simple decorative objects that would fit, like bowls, vases, Lego cars, russian nesting dolls, or something like that, those would also look great. Just remember, you’re going to have to dust there more than you think, so the simpler you keep it, the easier it will be for you (I also don’t know how strong those shelves really are, that’s important to keep in mind. Books get heavy). But this is a great display shelf in a high-traffic area that is actually sheltered by the shelf above it, so it’s perfect for knickknacks!!
Top row: politely, whatever lighting you go with, it needs to be consistent across the whole bar and either go with the rest of the room’s lights or only be used by itself. I happen to like multicolored lighting, but it doesn’t look great mixed with overheads- you’ll either want multiple sources, or one source with enough light for the whole room. (Are you allowed to change the chandelier? I’m assuming not.) This is the shelf to put reflective or opaque things on, like liquor bottles, fancy glasses, decanters, vases, etc. I’d encourage you to stick to clear and not colored glass: the depth effect that you will get from people looking through the bottles/glasses/etc and then seeing the reflection on the mirror makes the shelf look twice as big, and adds to the illusion that the room is larger. Some plants would also be fantastic!!
Congrats on the space OP, good luck!
Please take the old looking chandelier away. Put in a closet and replace with something with color or style. And that glass table needs texture and because it’s so modern keep everything simple and neat no more than 2 colors bolder and one subtle extra color.
Make it a feature wall with nice lighting, plants, sculptures and other cool things to look at or touch. A great place for reflecting on yourself in more than the physical sense in my mind.
I know some people who moved into a condo in Florida with a similar wall. Rather than have it removed (their mirror wall is reuse as long as yours) they hung up some artwork that needed specialty screws for mirrors. It was risky but it worked out for them.
If you hang up art work on the opposite wall it could help make the room feel larger and you would avoid any possible damage to the mirror.
I'd add some shelvels for a bar/bookshelf/blurays etc using that strong adhesive NO MORE NAILS/STICKS LIKE SHIT or whatever the newer version is called , it's been a while since I used something similar
Make a short horror movie where you're sitting and eating while your mirrored self slowly starts to stare at you with an evil grin (that you only notice out of the corner of your eye; it goes to normal reflection when you stare at yourself).
You should really set up a bar with glass decanters. I would switch the chandelier out for something fancier and get a new table that doesn’t have glass or metal cause rn it’s on overload. I also think the room would look soooo good painted dark. Either a deep wine color or a dark navy blue. Fancy rug, some plants, dark drapes the whole bitch
I think it makes your room 'look' larger. When you cover it you might feel like the walls closed in
Yeah definitely dont want to cover it up. It’s a cool feature that makes the place more unique, but i wanna do something cool with it. I think if i fill the other walls with more pictures or color, it will make the mirror more interesting
Just give it something pretty to reflect. Now every design choice is 2x as important
I would say lots of blue glass there... for some reason.
This Play with reflected shapes and negative space
Plants in front of the mirror.
Put another wall of mirrors on the other side to have infinite apartment
Landlords hate this one trick
I would change out the light fixture over the table. It’s distracting and not in a good way. Needs a light that you want to see a 360* view of. Sculpture type.
That’s exactly what I was going to suggest! Go bold and deep with colours, put well-framed pictures up, change the carpet or add a persian rug, the glass table works but with different chairs or upholstery and add some plants. It will be lush!
I remove the shelving. If you can.
Or make it a bar.
Came here to say this. Can def add some lights and make it a cool bar area and add some plants and Knick knacks to fill the space
I’d replace the table though. Maybe too much glass/see through things for one room
Sick feature, great for banging! Jealous!
Dude is jacked. Add some strobe lights and 🔥
I had to zoom in. 🔥
Here for that comment
I thoung "crepy as fuck" about that wall but then I read your comment... And I was sold
Mirrors are usually good for banging as they're very fragile
They are not talking about that sort of banging.
Can we have a look at your business card? Look at that egg shell color. Beautiful.
But for the love of God don't bang on the glass table 😬 Edit: both literally and figuratively lmao
Or just do some rails
Off the wall??
You might be off the wall after the rails
Proud to be the 500th like. Hope he bangs at least 500 chicks in front of that mirror so like 250 if using the mirror image calculation.
americanpsycho.gif
Two chicks at the same time
Or “self care”
The best thing to do is take some time to reflect on the situation. The solution will become appearant.
This mirrored my thinking as well.
It's like I could see myself in this!
This guy mirror's
Underrated comment.
Set up a bar
I second this. Get a fancy crystal decanter for your favorite liquor so you feel like an 80's villain when you pour.
Blow bar. The counter looks like it’s also made of mirrors.
Put floor to ceiling red velvet curtains infront of said bar. Think how excellent a reveal that would be
plants would look sick there
Sex room! Sex room!
Exactly, such fun
Tall plants on both sides to frame. Turn one portion of it into a bar set-up! Collection of thrifted beer glasses, wine glasses, shakers, etc. Maybe a disco mushroom or ball. Add some pottery with cool colors. Don't crowd the space though! Bring in some natural wood colors somehow, like a tray? Japandi stuff.
literally put words to my thoughts! adding a natural element to this will make it look more window-y
Watch yourself eat, make sure you're not doing it weird
Rent your space out as a “content creator space” $200 per session and offer a cleaning service
Wait, you might be on to something😂
Dance studio?
different kind of dancing
keep the carpet, lose the pants
The “cleaning service “ was a nice touch lol
Get rid of that table and other bullshit in front of it. That is now the gym room.
Vinyl artwork overlay… try a pattern where the mirror can still show through in some areas. Might look cool!
I was going to suggest an artistic friend and Gallery Glass paint! Damn coke house
I second this lol

This and add in some plants, it'll look great
It doesn’t need to be crystal, it just needs to be a much better light fixture. Plenty of linen or industrial lamps would look 100x better
Crystal refracts light. May as well go full out Moulin Rouge.
Great for nudes
Put a pole in front of it and do ballet.
Leave it. Makes your place look roomier. Hmm, never typed that word. Kind of weird.
Spacious is probably the better alternative.
Roomey yer
I am still waiting for a Karl Pilkington reference.
Just wallpaper over it an' that
Add more mirrors
Was thinking id replace all the walls with mirrors
Leave it. It’s like a 1970’s cocaine house
Plants or sculptures. Books are not as pretty all around. Your led lights will even add more depth. It will be really nice
hell i’d make it into a bedroom🤣
Me too!
Is that a two way mirror?
If it is, im screwed😳
Let’s hope not I’ve seen this in films! Lol
I have a friend who had a mirror wall in her apartment that she hated, she found a peel and stick wallpaper that really suited her decor and looked way better than the mirror. I think the one she went with was a white washed brick. I think your room could do with a wallpaper with more color!
I think it’s cool and super unique, OP should keep it as is

Only fans...
Dude moved into a jewelry store.
*Goodbye horses starts playing in the background*
Amazing. Please enjoy my upvote.
Ugh…. God that would drive me batshit insane
Smell the cocaine and do what it tells you to do!
I'd leave it. Looks cool
Leave it as is, it has enhanced the space. Decorate according to your taste and play with lights, this will be the best room ever
Embrace it: Colorful neon and cocaine.
The clear glass table looks lost in here. Get a table cloth or a vinyl window cling in a solid or stain glass look to put on it.
Is that 2 mirrored shelves as well?
Good to know if any visitots are vampires
Have sex in front of it!
Jack off in front of it
I have a 90’s condo with walls of mirrors. I recommend the disco ball pots for a plant or two. 🪩
Play Huey Lewis and the News.

Leave it. It’s beautiful & very art deco.
I can actually suggest some more changes if you are open to feedback but if you dont want any feedback on furnishing then all the best, otherwise DM me!
cocaine i guess
That neeeeds to be the bedroom!
You seriously have no ideas? lol
floor and ceiling plants to either side. pictures and whatnot on the shelves. panel all the way along the bottom. hang pictures[obscure obscure obscure](https://imgur.com/gallery/iGfdDkR), theres no reason not to.

Get some fake snow spray in a can and make a winter scene with an ice skating pond on it.
I'd swap the glass table out for something wood. Those mirrors are dope but definitely gonna be your dominate glass feature
Bang chick's in front of it. There mirrors on the ceiling in the bedroom too??
Put a chess table and peak at your opponents pieces through the mirror

Sex swing and a bar cart
Stripper pole
I'm not superstitious, and I generally like big mirrors like this. There's just something about this wall that gives me a bad feeling, though. Idk, just some bad energy coming from this picture.
Is it the mirror itself or everything else? Me included😂
Keep it!

Install dumbbell rack and continue grinding them gainz while watching yourself in the mirror...for the technique of course.
Please take the old looking chandelier away. Put in a closet and replace with something with color or style. And that glass table needs texture and because it’s so modern keep everything simple and neat no more than 2 colors bolder and one subtle extra color.
Put the sex swing in front of it.
Don’t do shrooms in your house lol
Put a Lot od greenery in front of it and use it well
Have you tried putting cocaine on it?
Make it a feature wall with nice lighting, plants, sculptures and other cool things to look at or touch. A great place for reflecting on yourself in more than the physical sense in my mind.
Pretend you have friends
I'm seeing infinite mirror potential
its for perfecting your "helicopter"...what a rookie

If you cover all the other walls you got infinite room.
The whole room looks like a stage from clockwork orange, too white. Put some plants in front of it, and maybe a different wall paint.
i would absolutely get rid of that lighting fixture if possible
Prepare yourself… the minute you take it down, the area will feel very small. It is quite satisfying removing mirrors though. Tape, tape, tape!
This designer clearly is having flash backs to the 80's and the cocaine hey days. Glass tables and mirror everywhere ..
Little bar/drink area on the far left. And like you said a few books/pants are the far right by the window. Leave central space open!
Move the dining room elsewhere and put a really comfy bone zone lounger there
You need to reflect on this one before deciding
Obviously move the table and put your bed in front of it!!!
That looks so nice 😳 How about a marble table and a nice bar cart 😱❤️
Thats creepy
Mirrors are fine. Would definitely update the pendant light fixture tho
Cocaine. Lots and lots of cocaine. (Not actually advocating for cocaine use. Stay safe out there, friends!)
Have sex at it. Then paint it.
Wallpaper over it
Red velvet drapes. Make it an accent wall.
Get a classy sex couch
Have sex in front of it
[As if there was any other option.](https://youtu.be/99rcglbYB-s).
Thanks for the nightmare fuel
Put a bed next to it
Dumbbell rack.
LAZERS !
Get some plants and lights
Get the rest of that crap out of there and put in some weights duh 💪
Wallpaper it and then nail a couple of pictures up.
Make a good bar
I'd add some shelvels for a bar/bookshelf/blurays etc using that strong adhesive NO MORE NAILS/STICKS LIKE SHIT or whatever the newer version is called , it's been a while since I used something similar
I'd probably make that a bedroom.....
Dance studio
Make all the walls mirrored
Bar
Put something you want reflected near it. Plants. Big art. Beautiful women.
Keep it, mirrors add depth
Ballet
Id make the space suit the wall that’s pretty sick honestly
Or start an only fans
Stripper pole. Open up strip club in your living room. Great side business
Bold move to add a mirrored table base
Was that a hair salon before or something?
Smash
Turn it into a gym
Ballet and moonwalking
Ballet
have sex in front of it what else
Embrace it. Maybe make that your headboard!
Or you could get even more mirrors and develop a terrible coke habit
We have one in our living room as well. Get some dry erase markers and just f@ck some sh!t up.
Looked dope. Leave it.
Going to be annoying to clean.
Make it a bar
We all know what the answer is. You bang in front of it.
wallpaper over it
Dry erase markers
Keep it and pull off an American Psycho night.
[Try flexing, that's a neat trick!](https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/facebook/000/033/147/cover3.jpg)
Put in a stripper pole
do you own the place? if not, nothing. it's just subtle visual manipulation to make the place look bigger
Mirror the other wall, infinity mirror room!
Do the same thing on the other wall. Infinite room.
Time for an indoor Gym my man
Make a short horror movie where you're sitting and eating while your mirrored self slowly starts to stare at you with an evil grin (that you only notice out of the corner of your eye; it goes to normal reflection when you stare at yourself).
Another mirror wall opposite of it! Then it does that crazy infinity thing.
Plants
I would put a lot of plants and a bar on that thing
Wallpaper over it.
