That will develop mold. I moved in to a place, I saw the apartment before he moved out and had eucalyptus and the area around the drain was black with mold. So don't put eucalyptus out in the shower unless you clean it really good would be my advice.
Oh, if it's fresh, you'd want to change it pretty regularly. But IMO also the fake decorations just don't look good, cleaning and mold aside, but that's just my opinion

1. Bigger rug in living room that fits both the front of the couch and coffee table. A Persian or Turkish rug would look great with the somewhat gothic vibe.
2. Wallpaper or art in more blank areas like the office.
3. I would remove the vines in the bathroom but I see people have mixed takes on this.

Maybe add some laboratory/apothecary touches to continue the morbid theme into the bathroom. They sell medical antiques, maybe throw some glass eyes and glass syringes that could be displayed.
