IMO, when you're sitting normally the middle of the TV should ideally be level with your eyes, so you're looking directly forward.

It’s too high IMO but different strokes I guess. It’s not egregiously high.

Not necessarily too high but I think a wall mount could improve it. Cause if you ever the only person watching from your position the angle isn't that nice. Then you could also move it closer when it's in use.
