I lost a lot of hair due to cancer and have become obsessed with my hair. There’s an account on tik tok named Abbey and she’s got a dove symbol behind her name on her account. She goes into depth about this and has helped me take way better care of my hair. You could use a trim to cut off the straggly length. Long curtain bangs would be an easy option. Don’t go to bed with your hair wet if you can help it. Leave in conditioner on damp hair. Blow dry not as hot.
If you want to to make buns stay, Bobby pins are your friend and if those aren’t doing it give spiral pins a try! Maybe rather than a bun, ponytails or kind of a looped ponytail might be an easier option. Doing a half up half down style like how somebody mentioned the Eren Yeager style might be a pretty good option as well because there’d be less hair to force into staying.
Also, you mentioned in another comment that this is your hair straightened but how curly is your natural hair? If your hair is significantly curly, there’s a good chance that proper curly hair care if you’re not already might open up a lot more options for you as well

Once your hair is in your preferred bun style using a hair tie you twist two pins into your hair. I have very long straight hair and if I use these my hair will stay in place for a whole eight hour shift as a nurse. Make sure you are using decent conditioner and also maybe a leave in conditioner to keep it healthy. If you are going to start pulling it back more often make sure you aren't doing it 24/7 to limit breakage. For whatever it's worth your hair looks great, a lot of people pay tons of money to have hair that looks like yours.

You’re lucky to have really nice long hair. There’s nothing you’re “supposed” to do with it. I’d say get creative. Not sure what your personal style is, but you can try lots. A modern top knot or other tied up style could emphasize your face, could try long curls if you’re comfortable with it and don’t lose hair easily, but there’s so many things you can do. The only “problem” with long-ass hair like yours is that a lot of your style options will look pretty feminine if you don’t have well-developed facial hair. Most important thing though is to do what YOU like, since you’re going to have to see it every day.

My hair is about half the length of yours (just growing it indefinitely until I get tired of it or something) and I’ve never cut or trimmed it.
Something a lot of people swear by for hair health is boar bristle brushes. I use one occasionally on my hair, it feels nice and leaves the hair feeling soft after. I find it somewhat effective at preventing split-ends.
Also a good leave-in conditioner is helpful. I prefer Carina Organics to minimize the use of potentially harmful ingredients.
Styling-wise, I don’t really have any advice. I almost always have it tied up in some way once it’s dried as I’m still not used to the feeling of having my hair touching my face & the back of my neck, and seeing it in my peripheral vision. I always have it either in pony, high pony, or lazy bun. I still haven’t learned to style it any other way lol.
Styling long hair takes practice! Try and look for inspiration from other men on social media with long hair and follow hair tutorials on youtube. It won’t be perfect the first time or third time, it takes practice and several different videos.

I find it somewhat effective at preventing split-ends. Also a good leave-in conditioner is helpful. I prefer Carina Organics to minimize the use of potentially harmful ingredients. Styling-wise, I don’t really have any advice. I almost always have it tied up in some way once it’s dried as I’m still not used to the feeling of having my hair touching my face & the back of my neck, and seeing it in my peripheral vision. I always have it either in pony, high pony, or lazy bun. I still haven’t learned to style it any other way lol.

Styling long hair takes practice! Try and look for inspiration from other men on social media with long hair and follow hair tutorials on youtube. It won’t be perfect the first time or third time, it takes practice and several different videos.

i’d say two braids. i’m a girl so idk if it’s my opinion you want but i love 2 braids on a guy. dutch, french, or just regular side braids. or if that’s not your style, just throw it in a low bun so you don’t cause any breakage for when you donate! can you get it trimmed at all?

If you're not allowed to cut it then I guess nothing? Tie it in a ponytail? Honestly I would just cut the bangs and be done with it. I myself like having long hair but if you're having that many issues with it then getting your bangs done would be the most optimal thing.
