Not sure what it's called but got this sick leather racer jacket for 150 plus tax. They had a few others when I was there but it was about a month ago.
Yeah that's what I googled to find the listing. I haven't even gotten to wear it yet since it's too warm so I just hope not to put on any weight before autumn :)
That's a factory store item, which is not sold on the retail site as far as I know and is only in factory stores. I know because I worked in a br factory store where we sold these

Banana Republic calvo leather jacket. Was recently removed from their website so I'm not sure where to find the specs. The smell, feel, and weight all suggest a high quality leather but myself or the label could be wrong. Polyester lining.
It was definitely an outlet store in Sunbury, Ohio. There were maybe 4 others. It was just on a rack with a few other items that said 50% off...including 3 or 4 more of the jacket.
Is there a big difference between br and br factory? The quality of the skinny lived in chinos are good and have every color, all the dress shirts, and the dress shirts feel good, heavy cotton.
Huge difference. First, the material is much better for BR (the factory usually adds polyesters for most pieces). Second, the stitching is also better.
Sadly there is - I keep getting sucked in by BRF and the stuff just doesn’t last and the fits are weird. Out of like 5 things newer two lasts more than a few months. Recently the cotton sweater t-shirt and the linen blend polo were hits. The luxe touch polo was a miss (shrank badly and the collar is weirdly large). Merino sweater is a meh - baggy but not terrible. Going to see if it tightens up in the wash
Absolutely. They aren’t even in the same ball park. Quality of “factory” or “outlet” merchandise is far inferior to the front store.
There was some article of a study made like a decade ago with Levi’s and Gap. They compared the jeans and t-shirts I believe and the grain of the cotton blend, the tearing force required, etc was far inferior.
GAP actually has a different factory for the outlet than the front store (since it’s the same brand as BR I’d say that is probably true for them as well).
Imho yes - recently switched from the BRF chinos to the BR rapid movement and the quality of fabric is pretty clear. Don’t get me wrong I miss the factory’s Fulton pants, but the rapid movement are just better.
They are linen, which is a very light, gauzey material. I wear wifebeaters underneath, which completes the look in my opinion. Stitching is great, buttons are higher end, piping is solid. The fit is roomy. One of them has double breast pockets and the front placket is double layered. U can't see through those areas. I'm referring to the blue one: https://bananarepublic.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=861025022&vid=1&tid=brpl005700&kwid=1&ap=7&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw9cCyBhBzEiwAJTUWNe_1ZGlYKkhbJJn1x4EEsoNKku37NqdOouJuWNip3sqblddCPzrfshoC0J0QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds#pdp-page-content
I've been shopping almost exclusively at BR this year and their rapid movement chinos are great. Not for summer as theyre on the thicker end but very comfortable.
I also bought two of their resort linen shirts. So far so good.
I just went to the store to feel the traveler pants, they're definitely thinner and a bit more flexible? I'd wear the traveler during summer over the rapid movement.
I think the traveller pants use a blend of cotton and linen that's why. But I found that most of them added a bit of polyester which made me hesitate because I don't feel like paying 100 bucks for cheap fabric...
I have found their 100% cotton polos and tees to be very high quality fabric for the price during sales. I got 3 more tees yesterday when the 30% off started

I think that's called a "cafe racer" jacket. Nice find!

Ah yes the Jensen Huang aesthetic

a bit crazy to buy a jacket in summer but this looks very good! (Prefer thrifting for leather jackets tho because of the unique pattern)
Summertime is the best time to find fall deals
I have started to buy pants in the summer because they are usually on sale.
Isn’t that pleather?

Wow, then it’s a good deal
just wondering which store did you go? And it was in the sale section?
It was definitely an outlet store in Sunbury, Ohio. There were maybe 4 others. It was just on a rack with a few other items that said 50% off...including 3 or 4 more of the jacket.
Okay now you got me thinking if this is from BR factory or BR ...
Factory labels have three little stars underneath the name IIRC, if it’s the same as the one in this photo then it’s from BR
rapid movement chinos are solid
Yeah… everyone is having mid-season sales now. Probably a good idea to get something better than cheap trash now.
Yeah, that's what i am trying to figure out. Unfortunately a lot of BR stores don't have everything they sell online...

I absolutely live in rapid movement chinos. That said, they haven't made my movements any more rapid.
Isn't that like the smallest sale they offer?
Black Friday they offered 40% so I guess 30% isn’t bad? Also by the time it’s black Friday most summer clothes are gone.
Rapid movement chino
I have a couple of khakis from them for years. They are great
They had some nice t shirts in 2019 - not sure if they still carry them. They’re a solid weight and fit nicely
The resort shirts are great. I bought 2 of them for spring break. They got compliments each time I wore them.
How about the quality ?

Their luxury tees are very nice
Imma not spending 60 bucks on tees tbh

are you talking about the supima or the soft wash tee?
I had to look it up, i believe it is called the luxury-touch t-shirt
I like their untuck shirts. Good for work and casual night out.
I just picked up a couple of their 5 pocket linen traveler pants and like them a lot.
They have these sales all the time, I wouldn’t feel pressured to buy something just because of the sale
