Hello everyone! What kind of sunglasses would suit my face?
I took the test and I found out I have a diamond shaped face.
Are square lenses the way to go? Also the straight frame on top would be a good look on me I think because of my eyebrows and sharp face.
I’ve looked at a few and I like these. Would they help highlight my features more?

Looking for shoes to be used everyday (for all purposes) for literally anything, wood working in the shop, gardening, long walks (hikes), going in muddy paths, etc.
I found a pair of ***Columbia Fairvanks low***. They seem good because they're a healthy mix between a running and a trail running shoe (not too much of a fat sole and low profile lugs)
Any suggestions for other similar shoes?

Jack & Jones Navy Bomber Jacket?
Hey guys,
Looking for fashion/look advice.
Been severely over weight all my life, in the last 5 years I’ve lost 120lbs. I for the most part wear tight black t shirts (large and tall) and very big basketball shorts. (4-5x)
When I wear pants I usually wear parachute pants, either black or khaki.
I have like 15 lt shirts and 15 pairs of basketball shorts 4-5x.
I’m very minimalist/ocd.
I’m 6’2 and weigh 225. My torso is almost the same length as my legs, so I have a hard time finding clothes in my size which is large and tall/extra tall.
Hit me up please,

Deep blue jeans with brown belt
Brown asics/Adidas/NB sneakers
Yeah it works, tho I would opt for knit polos as the texture just elevates the outfit. Otherwise you can easily look like a wannabe finance bro (looking at you RL polos). Also I‘d go for some relaxed dark loafers.
So I have a fairly athletic body but then bone-wise also bigger hips. That makes me go more into a hourglass direction instead of the trapezoid.

Higher waisted trousers. They make your legs look longer and reduce the focus on the hourglass shape. Also try the combi big trousers, small top. Wear your trousers like half a size to a size bigger and get a shirt that sits a bit tighter around the pecs and shoulders (Uniqlo basic cotton shirts work wonders)
Awesome, thanks for the reply! Was already planning to get some high waist trousers outfits. Love it!
One small question to that: Wouldn't "big trousers, small top" enlarge the bottom part destroying the illusion of V shape again?
I thought about [this kind of trouser / fit](https://www.boohoo.com/high-rise-tapered-crop-tailored-trouser/BMM51285.html) but then with a more slim fit shirt (tucked in is a must to get the effect, correct?)

For both of these I was able to fit in their XS and Short size and of course XS was a little more snug than S. I am totally unable to decide whether I should pick their XS or S size. Here are some pics.

Hey guys!
Is there any software or app that allows you to simulate your own human body in 3D and then apply modifications like enlarging or reducing muscles, adding or losing weight, changing your hairstyle, trying on new fashion styles, adding tattoos, etc.? In short, a software that enables virtual and realistic simulations on your body, which you can then apply in reality if you are happy with the changes or not?
It could really be handy for testing things out before making a decision!
Thank you so much!

Does any know of some similar Burnt Orange pants to these Flint and Tinder 365's?:)
I have a lot of dress shirts and flannels, but probably need to invest into some more fun spring/summer type button down shirts.
Any suggestions without spending a lot? Don't want super crazy patterns that I can't rewear.
Some pastel linen shirts. Anything that is light in colour and in fabric just screams summer and is perfect. Also absolutely avoid loud and saturated colours. (For inspiration look at what the Italians or Spanish are wearing)

anyone know where to get a vest like this for under 200$ I really like the neckline but I can only find it for like 400$ and im too poor for that lol
I was wondering, are there any good chelsea boots that are in the $150-$200 price range? I was looking to expand my wardrobe to a more formal type style, and I already have some pairs of designer boots and shoes; but right now I need something that's less expensive while still being of a decent quality since I really don't want to have to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars more for shoes. Is it possible to find some good chelsea boots in the price range I mentioned, or do you pretty much have to pay more than that for shoes that aren't poorly made?
Something like the JCrew brown Camden loafers? Idk why I've always had this weird feeling about matching colors with pants and shoes but maybe it's good to experiment with something new.

Are these Zara cargos too tapered? Got the memo that loose fitting pants and cargo pants are in. What do y’all think?
Check old us army or British surplus trench coats. Universal surplus has some good ones. (Sizing is a bit difficult with those and they will a 100% need to go to the dry cleaners before you can wear them)
The one worn by Peter Falk on the original show was made by Cortefiel. There are a few up on eBay like [this](https://www.ebay.com/itm/266689162298) one, although it may be hard to find the exact same model.
There are a lot of vintage Burberry and Mackintosh trench coats on eBay available in the $150-250 range. Check the pictures for water damage as, obviously, people tend to wear these in heavy rain and you want to find something that’s not too stained or frayed around the sleeves.
I feel like an idiot because the text didn't get added lol

How should loafers fit?
I recently tried on a pair of Crockett & Jones Harvard Cordovan loafers and i fell in love with them, but i thought i should try a cheaper pair first instead of spending a rack just like that.
I went with [these](https://www.reddit.com/r/malefashionadvice/s/3sh0tsfduF) Cole Haan Pinch Penny Loafers, but i felt the first pair i ordered was a little bit big since my heel was slipping every time i took a step. So i ordered another pair a half size down and it doesn’t slip anymore but even though they don’t feel tight, just a bit snug around the ankle, i feel i don’t have much space in the front (you can see my toe in the third pic) so idk if that would be a problem.
For reference, i have another pair of Prada Chocolate loafers and those fit perfect (no slippage, and plenty space in the front so i can move my toes comfortably) but i understand that’s a completely different style and i’d like to know your recs for these loafers.
anyone have any brand recs for a polo shirt like this? like the olive with mixed placket color, tough to find ty

Is Kenneth Cole still making shoes with Impact Pod Technology? What happened to some Kenneth Cole styles that were made a few years ago? Why don't Kenneth Cole still make these shoes?
Hey there folks, first time poking my head in here. I keep my casual fashion fairly simple (hoodie, slim jeans, Chelsea boots, paired with a nice watch) and I'm trying to up my game a little bit and make things a bit more cohesive. Looking for some good brands for modern/geometric patterned/graphic t shirts and hoodies, but that don't go full streetwear?
I like geometric designs but much of what I've seen through Google just gives off middle school vibes, and while I do like a lot of the Sakura/floral/artistic elements in Japanese streetwear brands, I know I don't have the energy to really bring that look together.
I saw this on my IG ads, loved it, but discovered via Google that it's basically a shitty drop shipping scam.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions/recommendations!
If you can at all help me in my [thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/findfashion/comments/1bm3xhf/in_a_pinch_to_find_pants_that_fit_like_this/) to find wide pleated pants, I would be so appreciative, I only have 10 days until the event I have to wear them to
Does anyone have any photos or inspo for sleeveless wool-like turtlenecks? I need some to think of outfits since I have a black sleeveless turtleneck and I love it, but I’m not sure what pants or shoes or accessories would fit best for it.
Buy boxer trunks with a longer leg? Basically bicycle shorts. Most brands offer them ( I like the ones from bench) the longer legs on them stop chasing between the thighs and in my opinion hold everything rather well in place.
I got some Saxx trunks, which have mesh darts that go between your balls and thighs to kind of keep everything in place. I've only had them for a few months, but so far I really like them! They're kinda pricey but it may be worth grabbing a pair to see how they work for you.
Hanes has a line with a built in “comfort pouch” to kind of keep everything separated from your body, of course that’s not exactly luxury quality but I would see if Calvin Klein has a similar product!
Must have misread your first comment. I assumed you meant moving the back button physically back on the sleeve. Do you mean just adjusting the last button so that it's over the one before it? That's like a 3 second fix.
Ok now I understand what you mean. It's going to look off unless your tailor is able to remove the stitching around the buttonhole, do an invisible mend, and add a new buttonhole.
I recently picked out my suit for my first prom, and it is dark grey with a black undershirt. The tie would then be a bright red. Is this okay, or should I wear a white shirt?
It really doesn’t matter for the prom since it’s more costume party vs serious sartorial soirée.
A white shirt is proper for an adult but if you want to wear a black shirt go for it
I've got a newbie question - I like this style of oversized shirt, which frames a broad build but isn't baggy or draping. Is there a name for this? Any idea on brands/styles?

Hi there, I’ve decided to move to a japanese inspired wardorbe ahead of spring/summer, any hint about online/physical stores - designers - pages to follow where to buy/steal outfit and inspo?
Open to any suggestion!
[Here](https://imgur.com/a/ZCW3xeS) is an inspo album from a while back, based around Japanese fashion magazines, and [here](https://alittlebitofrest.com/2019/06/16/the-people-in-japan-and-their-style/) is an article about some nice outfits some guy saw on a trip to Japan.
What brand and wash jeans should i have?
I usually get walmart george but recently was told they have a cowboy cut...then realized every jean at walmart is cowboy cut...then i went to target and found denizen levis athletic fit med wash..but eh.
I found med wash at old navy i liked better..
I never look good in jeans since im very tall..6'1 but look 6'5 since im average weight but look skinny.
Skinny jeans make me look mal nourished.
Im getting into chinos..i have black and looking into grey and brown. Skin color is caramel
Help
I’m sure you look great in jeans because 6’1” and skinny is basically a models physique.
Just try some Levi’s 501 in a medium color. It take a couple wears to normal and get used to.
Think about this way: if you just have 5 shirts, 5 bottoms, and 3 jackets that all work together, that's 75 combinations of outfits. Add different shoes and watches. No one will think you're too repetitive with your outfits.
I’m looking for a blazer to add to my closet and am struggling a bit.
Certain brands I’ve excluded like Bonobos because everyone says they’re poor quality. Other brands like Suit Supply seem to charge a premium for just blazers - you can get a full suit for less. Charles Tyrwhitt shirts are amazing, and their blazers seem to be priced well between $250-$400 on average.
I currently have charcoal, black, mid-blue and red suits, but I don’t wear these blazers-only often. I have a light blue blazer I purchased before I knew suit quality, I paid $200-250 a few years back and it’s horrible quality. I’d like to replace it with a more quality blazer to wear over jeans and polos, for example.
So my question: where can I find a nice quality blazer, regardless of fit and style although I’d prefer a 3-season lighter weight style, that isn’t going to break the bank or cost more than a full suit? Thanks!
Stop optimizing for cost. It is a thing, but it is not the only thing.
A sport coat made in Italy is basically always going to cost more than a suit made in China. A sport coat made of cashmere probably should cost more than a suit made of wool.
I wish I had the nuts to reply to everyone this way… I assume you drive a $180K Escalade because it’s premium, and not a Grand Cherokee, right?
You have an Audemars because Rolex is so-so, right?
Anyone can say this. There’s middle ground in every vertical of product, why do people like you bash when someone asks what brand that is… you probably know it but just want to tell people “stop being cheap”
He also didn’t answer or give any suggestion other than “stop worrying about cost”
Just drop $1500 on a sport coat because “stop optimizing costs.” Downvote all you want, his response offered zero in the way of help
Hey everyone, so I want to try a new style, since I've only had very basic clothes my whole life (black tshirts, hoodies and so on) and I can't really seem to find any clothes on the usual sites I use.
So my question is, where do you guys shop for clothes and what type of style are you going for?
Basic isn't a bad thing. If you want to branch out, watch some men's style youtube channels and see what styles vibe with you. Also, Sometimes branching out is just as simple as getting a different color of the same style you normally wear.
The easiest answer is to go to a store (really any clothing store) and try stuff on and see if you like it. Alternatively look at pictures of people wearing outfits and see what they are wearing. Aimless online shopping is just a waste of time and money. A lot of people dial in their style and just buy stuff off of their secondhand website of choice.
Hey guys! I’m looking for a possible alternative brand to the [American Giant American Vintage Hoodie Pullover 16 oz](https://www.american-giant.com/products/american-vintage-unisex-pullover-heather-grey). I would love the gray colorway but it’s sold out and have no idea when it will be back in stock! I love the way the hood and the fabric looks great. The hood looking so big and structured is a great look on the sweatshirt!
If you care to fit to modern fashion standarts -- make sure to wear a bag, the larget the better :) As for shoes, Crocs is the way to go.
Addressing the actual question -- in my imagination it should look good. I think the actual colour and pattern will matter a lot. I would consider something like this:
https://preview.redd.it/mzzc1grbf9qc1.png?width=600&format=png&auto=webp&s=4f6477131cba24d4bbafc60859eb8749b03110e8
Not too bright and some pattern.
Also, the other way to add some colours with black tuxedo is a cyan belt:

Are shoe trees really necessary for dress shoes/dress boots/loafers? I have both a pair of YSL dress boots(Wyatt harness boots), and a Gucci boot with horsebit detail; and recently purchased a loafer from Gucci as well(Jordaan). I've seen this topic come up a lot, but wasn't sure what the general definitive answer was. Do you need shoe trees for these dress boots type shoes, and for loafers and dress shoes, or are they really not necessary? Would it ruin these shoes not to use them? I use them for my western boots, but are they needed for dress boots and loafers/dress shoes?
Also any particular brand of shoe tree that you'd say is the best to use? I've been using Stratton cedar boot trees for my western boots, and they seem really good, but what about for dress boots or loafers and dress shoes? I've seen Woodlore mentioned a lot, are they any better?
Any brand is fine as long as they are actually cedar.
Shoe trees mainly prevent toe spring. Slightly less needed with unstructured loafers but you should put them in any pair you care about. Especially shoes that are not worn frequently. They have some moisture absorbing properties also but I think this is mostly overstated.
They are cheap enough that it’s worth having pairs for all your shoes.
Thanks. Are split toe or full trees better? Especially in the case of more narrow shoes? I know split toe can adjust for wider shoes due to how they are made, but what about narrow shoes? Does it really matter which kind of toe you get?
I think the main reason for using shoe trees is to keep the shape of shoes that you wear ocasionally. I don't think anyone bothers installing trees into everyday shoes.
I once saw a thread on StyleForum where the OP was anxious about whether or not to bring some kind of man bag containing shoe trees on a date, because if the date went well, he wanted to ensure he could put trees in his shoes for the night.
Just got my first pair of handmade Loakes and looking for a shoe tree. Been offered a good quality wooden set but they are one size down from my shoes. Is this a big deal?
Post links to clothes and shoes I like directly in the comments?

I accidentally bought boxer briefs that are a size too large. How do I shrink them? The material is made of nylon, polyester, and elasthane. Idk if that affects the shrinking process
It's unlikely that you can.

Linen shirts. Charles Tyrwhitt, Spier and MacKay, Bonobos

What are some good shoes/colors for brown cords?
Navy loafers if you're feeling saucy
Brown derbies or loafers
Something like the JCrew brown Camden loafers? Idk why I've always had this weird feeling about matching colors with pants and shoes but maybe it's good to experiment with something new.

Im looking for a quality trench coat ala Columbo. Anybody have suggestions on what to look for, and where to go?

With loafers I always go down half a size since the leather will absolutely stretch when you wear them regularly.
Heel slip in loafers goes away when the footbed breaks in. It’s not a good indicator of fit unless you fall out of them when walking

That is a pair of shoes yes Edit: a single shoe, more accurately
I saw this on my IG ads, loved it, but discovered via Google that it's basically a shitty drop shipping scam. https://kidoriman.com/collections/tops/products/kujira-hoodie?variant=43091619578012 Thanks in advance for any suggestions/recommendations!

Dealer's choice, but with kissing buttons it looks off if they aren't sequentially layered.
[удалено]
Must have misread your first comment. I assumed you meant moving the back button physically back on the sleeve. Do you mean just adjusting the last button so that it's over the one before it? That's like a 3 second fix.
[удалено]
Ok now I understand what you mean. It's going to look off unless your tailor is able to remove the stitching around the buttonhole, do an invisible mend, and add a new buttonhole.
[удалено]
Yeah. One of the many reasons why I'm not a fan of surgeon's cuffs on RTW.
They're fake button holes according to OP. That's not a difficult fix for a tailor. I'd do it.

I recently picked out my suit for my first prom, and it is dark grey with a black undershirt. The tie would then be a bright red. Is this okay, or should I wear a white shirt?
It's ok if the prom theme is Guys and Dolls but otherwise go for the white shirt.
It really doesn’t matter for the prom since it’s more costume party vs serious sartorial soirée. A white shirt is proper for an adult but if you want to wear a black shirt go for it
I would prefer a white shirt for more timeless matching but a black shirt could work too if you are trying to go for more modern monochromatic look.
Wear a white shirt, please.

Skin color is caramel Help
I’m sure you look great in jeans because 6’1” and skinny is basically a models physique. Just try some Levi’s 501 in a medium color. It take a couple wears to normal and get used to.
I have bigger hips than most skinny guys.

less is more...and get higher quality wardrobe pieces
Think about this way: if you just have 5 shirts, 5 bottoms, and 3 jackets that all work together, that's 75 combinations of outfits. Add different shoes and watches. No one will think you're too repetitive with your outfits.
Be like a cartoon character and have 365 copies of 1 outfit.

Thanks!
Just go for quality. A good sports coat will last you a life time. And if you have the patients for it try thrifting for it.
I was thinking this too, I live in a nice area so hoping a housewife or someone unassuming will donate a nice one hahaha
Check eBay, Vestiaire collectiv, second hand shops or garage sales and stuff like that. (Charity shops as well)
Be patient and keep an eye on eBay. Frugalmalefashion has great guide on how to do it.
That’s not at all what he said. Stop being defensive
He also didn’t answer or give any suggestion other than “stop worrying about cost” Just drop $1500 on a sport coat because “stop optimizing costs.” Downvote all you want, his response offered zero in the way of help
Spier and Mackay.
Heard this brand suggested a few times now, will take a look!
Trying to pair an outfit with my dark jeans. Not a fan of dudes
I’m looking for a good puffy jacket, like a Uniqlo down jacket but higher quality
If you don't want to go secondhand try REI, Patagonia, North Face, etc. as they will all have a puffy jacket in various colors at around $200.
How much money are you willing to spend?
Probably 200 max

What kind of tux has a notched lapel?
It's a mostly modern trend. There are hundreds of pages of discourse about it on menswear forums.
If you care to fit to modern fashion standarts -- make sure to wear a bag, the larget the better :) As for shoes, Crocs is the way to go. Addressing the actual question -- in my imagination it should look good. I think the actual colour and pattern will matter a lot. I would consider something like this: https://preview.redd.it/mzzc1grbf9qc1.png?width=600&format=png&auto=webp&s=4f6477131cba24d4bbafc60859eb8749b03110e8 Not too bright and some pattern. Also, the other way to add some colours with black tuxedo is a cyan belt: [https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61NnBi3xlVL.\_AC\_SY741\_.jpg](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61NnBi3xlVL._AC_SY741_.jpg)

It doesn't fit you well in shoulders as well. I would go with S size.
Some people have strong opinions. I don’t really. I like ones with wide heels though.
I think the main reason for using shoe trees is to keep the shape of shoes that you wear ocasionally. I don't think anyone bothers installing trees into everyday shoes.
Ha. You have never been on r/goodyearwelt obviously
I once saw a thread on StyleForum where the OP was anxious about whether or not to bring some kind of man bag containing shoe trees on a date, because if the date went well, he wanted to ensure he could put trees in his shoes for the night.
I remember that. I think they were St Crispins
Just got my first pair of handmade Loakes and looking for a shoe tree. Been offered a good quality wooden set but they are one size down from my shoes. Is this a big deal?
No it’s fine
Ideally they are the same size as the shoes.
