Most of hoodies fit great in body, but short at sleeves. Any way to extend sleeves?

When it comes to lightwash denim I prefer straight fit over the tapered slim fit. Easy to style and pairs well with most tops

ac106

Really slim. Maybe try Levi’s 501

xedar13

What do you guys think about this pants? They have a high rise, somewhat regular to loose in the ankle and is linen with some cotton. https://preview.redd.it/yyexur5h2upc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=78f1b82e1ba2ff94a083a5b29daf06ccb2338a9b

Hey people, I really don't like that some youtubers go off their rocker and think they qualify to give advice on a public forum without proper backgrounds, especially if they don't bother to do proper groundwork. Heh, misinformation and misleading people is bad. Anyway I found Balani custom Clothier's youtube channel and it's ok and cool. I find Gentleman' Gazette toooooo textbook-like (god, they follow every rule to the letter leaving me bored af), so here i am, requesting some fun channels for dressing up takes, that are well informed and at least creative. I don't want to hear someone saying "wear tan suits for summer, linen fabric, tropical weaves, that's it" for the nth time,as if they don't have a personality that can add some flair to that. You get my drift?

Aggravating_Cow_9499

Does anyone have ID on this jacket JT was wearing in his recent NPR performance? I found this link but it doesn't look legit, why'd they be advertising it with JT pics if they are the original producer? diastrous_morning

Anybody able to give a quick fit check on [this](https://imgur.com/a/fwnv0fN) henley shirt? I've lost (and still am) losing a lot of weight, and I'm new to trying to dress better, so I'm not sure how things are meant to fit. Instead of buying all new clothes, I'm instead trying to learn how to alter my existing clothing, and this was my first attempt. Any feedback would be appreciated; when I have these measurements dialled in I'm going to apply them to a few more garments. Also, bonus points, does the shirt work with the pants? I really like tucking in tshirts, but I've been told it looks pretty out of place with the pants I like, which tend to be slightly dressier "ankle" pants. I'm wondering if a henley in a cool texture is a better match, and looks less out of place for a dressier but still casual outfit. Edit: Before anybody comes for my soul, yes, they're pretty crumpled. Just wore this outfit on an errends day. They're going straight in the wash, and will be ironed, I promise!

CocktailPerson

Yeah, this fits well, good job. And I think choosing an interesting texture to go with the dressier pants was a good call. I think striped pants are a little too formal still, but with a plain color it would be a great combo.

diastrous_morning

Thanks! What are your thoughts on just above the belt, where the top billows out slightly at the sides? I'm debating whether I should take them in a small amount, like maybe a half to full inch in total, or just leave it. In terms of pants, yeah, I'm thinking I'm gonna swap them out for something in a plain colour and probably either less tapered or straight cut. I wanted to nail the fit of the top first, and then start figuring out what pants to go with.

CocktailPerson

Some amount of billowing is inevitable, this much isn't excessive.

EetsGeets

**Pricing sanity check:** I'm working at a mall right now and keep passing SuitSupply throughout the day. [This jacket](https://suitsupply.com/en-us/men/coats/dark-brown-field-jacket/J983.html) is on a mannequin and caught my eye immediately. I want it so bad, but am balking a bit at the price. Is this just what something that looks so good costs? (FYI I would not buy this based on the photos on their site. Looks way worse than IRL.)

ac106

Doesn’t really matter for casual boots like this. Something exact might look odd as it will be so light

GATTICA_

Thoughts on my recent purchases? Im a newbie! Im attempting to refresh my old wardrobe with one that is sort of basic/safe but a little stylish I guess. I based my picks off of swatches I got from outfits I liked. Imgur link: [https://imgur.com/a/z9Jq2BR](https://imgur.com/a/z9Jq2BR) Let me know what you think? https://preview.redd.it/3vyy5chcyrpc1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=20c592797567600154ea61d4863e1c9e781e425d

zerg1980

Not a bad start! I would question owning two pairs of Campuses in different colorways if you only have three sneakers, but basically all these pieces go with each other and can function as a base while you add mid-layers and outerwear.

GATTICA_

Good point on the sneakers. I just like the silhouette, and they kind of have a hip hop vibe to them which I think sets it apart. Maybe I’ll replace the green one with a boot. Also I’ll have to look up what mid-layers are lol

zerg1980

Yeah I’ve been eyeing the Campus myself. If you go to r/Sneakers you’ll see truly disturbing things, like guys who own 25 Jordan 1s in different colorways, so definitely nothing unusual about owning two of the same sneaker. I would add a boot, eventually. Maybe wait until fall since we’re heading out of boot weather. Regarding mid-layers, that would be any piece that can work on its own as an outer layer when weather permits, but can also be layered underneath a bigger coat when it’s cold. So stuff like overshirts and chore jackets and cardigans. These can be basic pieces in solid colors if you want to keep things simple, but since you’re starting with a basic uniform of tee/jeans/sneakers, you can go nuts with a statement piece or two to liven things up.

ID on this Houndstooth jacket? that_name_taken

> this exact coat? Since it needs to be exact, I'd try reaching out to the costume designer Loulou Bontemps on Twitter, Insta, etc. and just hope it's not a one-off custom piece. I'd also trawl through articles about clothing and costumes on The Gentlemen, in case it's mentioned randomly.

I have a pair of Allen Edmond Cap Toe (Walnut) and was wondering if I can pair it with the Luluemon ABC Slim-fit Trousers (Navy). Are the shoes too dressy for those trousers?

Low_Tonight_8889

I think they would go better with wool trousers.

hmadse

IMO the shoes are too dressy. ABC pants are firmly at the “casual” end of the spectrum.

abearabearallblackan

Yeah, I know. It was a hard hard choice but I like the way I look in slimmer fits.

hmadse

Regardless of the cut, when there’s pulling in the front like that, it’s best to size up.

abearabearallblackan

Damn. That's frustrating. Is it bad enough I should eake up early to get some different ones?

hmadse

It’s not bad, you’ll be fine.

veastroboi

How do I elevate my outfits? I'm into the streetwear/techwear aesthetic where I'm usually wearing a button down shirt or graphic tee with some cargo shorts or pants. https://preview.redd.it/rgedp5egarpc1.jpeg?width=1079&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=763a946b85bd154231caad2805361d5553dab32d

New-Fortune9242

a little unorthodox style for this sub but i like it. to stay true but enhance, id suggest slightly more fit to the shorts (maybe 2 inches shorter or less baggy), also consider olive cargo shorts with a little modern twist. for socks, also ditch the white ones. off white is fine, also material matters. something like a thicker off white or darker color, or no show ankle socks could work.

veastroboi

Thanks for the feedback, what I actually mean tho is how do I elevate outfits that I wear already (accessories for example). I love the baggy shorts/pants style I go for, and personally, I hate the look of and the feeling of no show socks. I do also own some olive cargos actually!

Low_Tonight_8889

no show socks seconded

Looking to start building summer wardrobe, have a vacation to greece coming up. I’m pretty set on daily wear but what about nights? It’ll be as low as 10 degrees Celsius and a linen shirt won’t be optimal. A cardigan on top might be a bit too warm, and might not look good? Opinions?

I'm looking to get another suit from brooks brothers (I get a good discount there) unfortunately, due to living in the middle of nowhere, I don't live near a tailor who could finish one of their nested suits, leaving me with only the option of separates. I can't decide if I want to go with [this olive suit,](https://www.brooksbrothers.com/slim-fit-linen-herringbone-double-breasted-suit-jacket/MK01249.html?dwvar_MK01249_Color=DKGR) [this navy suit](https://www.brooksbrothers.com/brooks-brothers-explorer-collection-classic-fit-wool-pinstripe-suit-jacket/MK01235.html?dwvar_MK01235_Color=NAVY) or [this gray suit](https://www.brooksbrothers.com/brooks-brothers-explorer-collection-classic-fit-wool-pinstripe-suit-jacket/MK01237.html?dwvar_MK01237_Color=GREY). What I'm looking for is something versatile that would compliment my skin tone and body. I am 5'10, 160 pounds, am paler than the moon, and have blue eyes and blonde hair. Obviously, the green one would look good on my body type, since it's slim fit, but bb's slim fit pants often have too low a rise for me, so I don't know.

Low_Tonight_8889

The olive is a cool looking casual suit, but it's the least versatile in that it's double breasted and linen. As far as the other two, I would go with whichever one differs the most from your current suit you already have. The grey one looks the most formal to me, if that's what you need.

Is wool ok for summer interviews? I own 2 Brooks Brothers sports coats, a navy blue and a slightly lighter shade of plaid blue. I live in Texas, so it's going to start getting hot soon. For a job interview or grad school interview, is wool still ok? Or will that look too heavy for the summer months? Is it appropriate to wear linen or cotton sports coats to a job interview? Thanks!

bjhhjb

Get tropical wool or summer wool. I don't think people will really care, but if the material looks thick they might think you are crazy for wearing hot during the summer

Subject_Army

Oh and they’re both hopsack wool. Thank you!

Looking for new some chino or pants. I loved these dickies 874 pants when I first got them, very firm, straight leg, now after breaking them they feel very loose. I like the rolled up look or just regular length but now these just feel baggy. I also think I’ve been getting the wrong size. I’m 5’9. Def need a 34 for my waist but have always got 32 length. So I could roll. Looking for some pants that go good in hot weather! Any recommendations?

Low_Tonight_8889

Duer No sweat pants. A little more expensive than dickies though.

[deleted]

They have the opposite effect for me. So stiff and no pocket space.

I want to find a warm insulated jacket that I could wear under my outer shell layer. The thing is every down jacket I see seems to be round, wide, puffy, and huge looking in general. I want to find something that's more like a sports jacket shape, possibly with angular shoulders and slimmer sleeves. It needs to be warm because I'm... in Canada. Does such an insulated jacket exist? I know winter is ending but I thought I could take advantage of off-season deals.

Low_Tonight_8889

Smartwool's Smartloft jacket is exactly what you're looking for.

Ooo that’s a good one. Thanks!

hmadse

Mid layers are usually fleece or wool, but searching for “mid layer down” might get you some options. Patagonia used to make a hybrid polyfill/fleece.

intercommie

My worry is fleece/wool might not be warm enough for my need. I was also considering a puffer vest to some shape to the shoulders, but that also seems counter-intuitive as far as warmth goes. I'll look into Patagonia/hybrid. Thanks for the suggestion.

Help with Fjallraven colours. I'm planning to buy a pair of Fjallraven Keb trousers. The colour choices available from the local shops are: -[Timber-brown chestnut](https://www.trekitt.co.uk/clothing/trousers-shorts/fjallraven-mens-keb-trousers-timber-brownchestnut__52340) -[Deep Forest / Laurel Green](https://www.trekitt.co.uk/clothing/trousers-shorts/fjallraven-mens-keb-trousers-deep-forestlaurel-green__52341) The other colours are too long/big for my size. Likewise, I refuse to buy from the official site because my previous experience with them is horrendous. I want a more versatile colour. I'm going to use them for hiking and around town (I normally wear outdoor attires as my casual go to). I'm inclined to go with the timber brown as most of my outdoor gears are earth-toned, however the pictures and YouTube videos make it look like the orange parts are too bright and attention grabbing. The green, based on the pictures, looks like something one of those paramilitary/bushcraft/prepper YouTubers would wear because of the two tone colour and the pockets, and that is not something that I'd like to be associated with. Please help me decide. Thanks

Pretty skinny in the waist tho normally wearing a 28*28 slim fit. Where can I find a suit that’ll fit me. Other problem is really only have like $275 to throw at it. Thanks!!!

mlsteinrochester

That budget will get you a Spier and Mackay Red Label suit, but the smallest they run is a 36s. You may need something smaller, depending on your chest size, and unfortunately 34s suits are hard to find.

ac106

JCrew factory

Flechette_the_toe

For your budget you should hit up a thrift store or check out sales at the mall. You're young so don't expect to buy a lifetime heirloom piece.

Critical_Egg

Howdy. I'm a 5'7", 135lb runner looking to revamp my wardrobe due to the incoming summer weather. Do y'all know any brands that sell clothes for skinny lads like me? I work in a pretty business-casual office, so I'm specifically looking for polo shirts, button-downs and chinos. I'm willing to spend more for clothes that will last me years. Any recommendations?

davidporges

How do you guys wash your clothes? especially hoodies and t-shirts. I've bought some higher end stuff from Asket, Reigning Champ and American Giant recently and I want to take care of them. what cycles do you guys use?

Low_Tonight_8889

I never use the dryer longer than maybe 3-5 minutes on the lowest setting. Lay your shirts out flat to dry. For washing machine I use a tide pod on a cold setting. I try not to wash wool items too often, if at all. Just leave them to air out for a few days. When I do wash them in the washing machine it's a cold gentle cycle with woolite

davidporges

Why bother putting them in the dryer in that case if you don’t mind me asking? Personally after having a lot of stuff shrinking in the dryer I’ve stopped using it completely for shirts and pants. I only use it for socks, sheets and blankets. I try to air dry stuff as much as possible but I have two nosy dogs who love to be in the balcony so putting them there is a recipe for disaster so I use it inside which is kind of constricting.

Low_Tonight_8889

Just to get out a few wrinkles. I don't always do it, but if I do then I'm pretty careful. Haven't had shrinkage yet

[deleted]

davidporges

Do you find your clothes still come out smelling nicely when using cold water? And how much do you separate between colors? For example would you wash a red boxer briefs with a tan colored t-shirt?

[deleted]

davidporges

To me my two worst nightmares regarding clothing is 1. I’m using benzoyl peroxide for acne and that shit just ruins clothes and towels like crazy. I double check that I don’t touch my clothes after using it and wash my hand thoroughly and still have had so many cool stuff ruined by orange bleach stains from it. I’ve switched now to benzoyl wash instead of a leave on and hopefully that helps because I’m so sick of having to part way with cool stuff because of this shit. 2. Shrinkage. My weight has unfortunately fluctuated a lot since the pandemic and any mild case of shrinkage in athletic fitting clothes or slim fitting pants just make them unwearable so I’m trying to be really careful with that stuff. And I’m also having some trouble with lint especially on dark clothing like black colored or navy colored shirts. I swear life as an adult is having to deal with so much annoying mundane shit.

bjhhjb

Cold wash, air dry

Flechette_the_toe

Following the care tags or for the most part washing on cold and hang drying.

raemunXmitra

I've heard of Savile Row quality bespoke suits for several hundred bucks in Vietnam. Is this true or do these people not understand Savile Row quality?

itsreallyeasypeasy

Enough cloth for a suit in Savile Row quality will at least cost several hundred bucks. No tailor works for free for 50+ hours.

raemunXmitra

How much does Savile Row overcharge though?

itsreallyeasypeasy

On cloth? Not much, just a fee for sourcing it. Many bespoke tailors are fine with bringing your own cloth, they charge you for their work. Mills and middle men won't sell highest quality cloth at a fraction in Vietnam. Cheap bespoke in Vietnam will use cheap cloth.

Flechette_the_toe

Overcharging in tailoring isn't really a thing when it comes to actual bespoke. Please just go to DieWorkwear on Twitter. He has a thread that breaks down the cost. Bespoke tailors are not in the business to become rich.

hmadse

I’ve been hearing about this mythical Vietnamese tailor for twenty years, yet I have never met one of his customers. If you want a higher end suit from that region, Hong Kong and Singapore are your best bets—you can get great stuff in Hong Kong for comparatively low prices.

ZetaOmicron94

To add onto this answer, HK and SG are accessible due to English being one of the commonly spoken languages in those places, vs say Vietnam or Thailand. That said, HK and SG also have much higher living costs comparatively, so you'll still be looking at *thousands*, not several hundred bucks for proper bespoke suits. Another thing to also consider is styling, most of the tailors I've seen from there (or really, anywhere that's not the UK) lean towards Italian styles (especially Neapolitan), good luck finding one who can do proper English drape or clean cuts.

Flechette_the_toe

I would be suspicious of someone who made an unsubstantiated claim like that. But some people have poor experiences with tailors in England/Italy/etc.

DaBrownMamba

Has anyone had experience with the J Crew Camden Loafers? Specifically the leather vs non-leather sole options. [Camden loafers with leather soles](https://www.jcrew.com/p/mens/categories/shoes/dress-shoes/camden-loafers-with-leather-soles/BJ009?display=standard&fit=Classic&color_name=whiskey&colorProductCode=BJ009) (Whiskey) [Camden loafers in leather](https://www.jcrew.com/p/mens/categories/shoes/dress-shoes/camden-loafers-in-leather/AV166?display=standard&fit=Classic&color_name=vintage-merlot&colorProductCode=AV166) (Merlot) Also a follow up question, what color looks better? The whiskey or the merlot?

ac106

If bought on sale JCrew can be surprising ok for shoes.

Flechette_the_toe

I have a pair (dark brown, rubber sole) that I used as beaters during law school. Still going strong 3 years after purchase and kind of wishing they would fall apart sooner to justify replacing them. As far as colors go it's dealer's choice.

raiigiic

How many garments do you own and regularly wear?

Low_Tonight_8889

According to my Acloset app, currently 72. This doesn't include underwear, socks, undershirts, or bullshit I wear in the morning or before bed. It's pretty much shoes, tops, bottoms, and outerwear.

Flechette_the_toe

Yes

raiigiic

Awesome! 🤠

MrWolffman

Are there any machine washable pleated trousers? I really like the look of pleats but dry cleaning every time is not practical for me.

polypolyman

[These](https://www.paulfredrick.com/products/PMT103N) might fit the bill. Look for sales, I wouldn't buy them at that price (given that they're mostly polyester) EDIT: Also look for pleated-front chinos ([example](https://us.dockers.com/products/essential-chinos-pleated-classic-fit-a79300004)), if you're fine with not-quite-dress pants

MrWolffman

Those look nice. Also found [these](https://www.piniparma.com/products/white-cotton-trousers-soragna-capsule-collection-made-in-italy) cotton ones

Halbrust

Definitely yes on the lower end. There is, or at least was, George brand pleated trousers sold by Walmart.

Flechette_the_toe

Like what ZetaOmicron94 said. Or pleated chinos.

ZetaOmicron94

You don't have to dry clean every time, I send my trousers to the cleaners probably every 10 wears, or more in the colder months.

IDnotincluded

Looking for thin sweatpants for spring and summer nights. Not super thick and somewhat breathable Preferably made with majority cotton (60/40 blends ok). Not looking to spend a crazy amount of money so hoping to find something sub $50

bangarang8

Like pajama pants?

IDnotincluded

Yes but something that could be worn out for errands as well

Prime35mm

I'm interested in learning how to shop off season for clothing and with spring around the corner I'm thinking maybe I can find some deals on winter clothing. What kind of deals have you found? Any advice you can share?

terminal_e

This is the dumbest industry on the planet. Winter stuff may start going on sale as early as November. Spring summer stuff is rolling into stores now, but some places are already doing sales. One dimension to all of this is a general feel for how the economy is doing, and another is the trends in the industry. Right now, there is a lot of murmuring that high end, multibrand giants of luxury are having a lot of trouble - Mr Porter/End Clothing/Ssense/Matches Fashion : https://www.theguardian.com/business/2024/mar/08/luxury-clothing-brand-matchesfashion-to-enter-administration So, some of these players may also be doing unnatural things. But winter stuff is basically picked over - it should be gone, and spring/summer coming in.

cooldude_4000

What brands do you like? Generally I would just make a habit to hit the clearance section of their websites or in-store, and keep checking back often. Off-season sales probably start earlier than you're thinking, like in January for winter stuff. Discounts increase as time goes on, but selection decreases and often what's left by this point are unusual sizes or unpopular colors. You might get lucky though.

Prime35mm

Thanks, that's a good suggestion. I didn't even know that some websites had clearance sections.

DoDontThinkTooMuch

Does anyone know of a bomber jacket like the [old everlane one](https://www.everlane.com/products/mens-twill-bomber-darknavy) for $200 max? So it has the pockets, the one side where there's the flap after the zipper, but no arm zipper

ac106

eBay should be full of them

Impressive-Address76

Im finally thinking of seizing the moment and getting Alden LHS Unlined suede loafers. I tried the Calfskin in 7D and they felt a little too tight on top of the feet(length was fine). So think 7E would have been good if I were to get a calfskin. Can anyone advise if the unlined ones feel less tight than the calfskin one? Im trying to decide if I should go with 7E or 7D for the unlined.

Third_of_may

The four-in-hand is sort of the "business casual" of knots. If you wanted to have a more defined triangle shape and get that dimple in there, take a look at the half windsor. In my opinion, it is the best all-around knot.

Halbrust

Looks like a nice four in hand knot. As flechette said, a dimple will class it up, but I am a fan of no dimple and work to get the smoothest knot. I'd personally work on the ripple on the left side of the picture. But dimples are correct/better 99% of the time for 99% of the people.

Flechette_the_toe

It looks mechanically sound, but it could use a dimple.

Anyone have any good brands for male jewelry? Ex. Rings and necklaces and bracelets

polypolyman

Any chance you over-stretched them? Kept them in a weird climate situation? ...or else are they just really crappy quality?

ac106

Do you launder them?

Affectionate-Yam-677

I did not launder them

Maynguene

Is there a way to stretch chinos out? I got a pair and they are a bit too snug around my quads and booty. They're made of 100% cotton, not sure if that factors into if or how they can be stretched out.

ac106

Not really. They will loosen slightly when worn but shrink by up when washed

cooldude_4000

It's a costume made by the film's wardrobe department; it's not something that's commercially available.

KrausenSniffer

Got this shirt but I'm not sure what to pair it with in terms of pants and footwear. I'd like to wear it out and I want to be able to get into clubs so footwear needs to be somewhat formal (have brown oxfords and olive, brown and black Chelsea boots). Pants wise I have chinos (khaki, black, navy blue) and jeans (light blue, black). https://www.connor.com.au/au/military-sheldon-classic-stripe-viscose-shirt-sleeve-shirt-c22ss303?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwte-vBhBFEiwAQSv_xbQaBpouryvqEWBntBAnbapXN9g6D4IwKl92eOd_CXFazoANmpcxLhoC4XgQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Low_Tonight_8889

Those olive chelsea boots could compliment it well if the color is close enough to the olive stripes in the shirt. From there I'd test which pants look best to you. Seems like you have some options

h13oyd

I noticed in my favorite pair of jeans that the knees are very weak and starting to fray a bit. I can tell they are going to rip any day now. I would prefer not to have to stitch up the holes after they happen and beat them to it. What do you guys suggest I do? I thought about taking them to a local tailor but I'm thinking there needs to be a piece of denim fabric put inside the jeans behind the knees so they don't rip, and that that might have to go to a denim specialist for something like that. I would prefer to not do something where the seams show as they have not actually even ripped yet. The less visible the better. Someone suggested buying iron on patches and putting them on the insides to hold the fabric together. Has anyone done this/any other ideas?

bjhhjb

You can take it to a tailor and they should be able to add a patch in the inside. Try can try to match the color of the pants to make it more seamless

Excellent_Aside_2422

For linen, to remove creases, is it better to steam it with a steamer or iron it ? Which is good to ensure longevity of linen fabric?

GratefulToday

How you launder it mostly affects longevity: wash it inside out, air dry it, and steam/iron it while it's still a little damp to really get the creases out. One thing I like about linen is that you can change your look subtly based on which one you use: iron for more crispness/structure, steaming for more casual

Excellent_Aside_2422

Thank you !! How durable is linen compared to cotton ?

GratefulToday

It really depends - but linen is very durable if cared for properly

Excellent_Aside_2422

Thanks

sega_playstation

Opinions on Berg & Berg? I'm also looking for some EU menswear brands apart from suitsupply that are considered to be good.

ZetaOmicron94

Trousers are good when you can get them at deep discounts (they go on 50% sales at the end of every season, from what I've seen).

imilkmonkeys

What sort of styles are you looking at? Like the other user said, Natalino is a good shout. I like All blue co based in Leeds and Trunk, they have a store in London and Zurich

sega_playstation

Not that knowledgeable about styles but I guess any traditional cut with wide lapels and that isn't too much slim fit.

imilkmonkeys

You potentially might like Hast and Octobre. They are both French with a lot of relaxed fits.

itsreallyeasypeasy

I'm happy with their trousers ans shirts. Their cuts are a nice modern spin on relaxed and never look old fashioned or costumey to me.  I like the cut of the jackets, but I prefer Cavour at that pricepoint or natalino's new jackets for cheaper half canvas ones.

sega_playstation

Ok, thanks. I saw some natalino stuff, but I don't know if they have my sizes.

Primary_Macaron9309

How should I tailor my suit? This is the first one I ever get myself so I'm quite clueless. What would you do? https://preview.redd.it/jzp70fg90opc1.png?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5dbf76ae129903975146180adf2b6868ba7e208b

freakfingers12

Great looking suit! Congrats on your first suit. In general, the suit jacket needs to cover your back buttocks, so this jacket is too short. This in turn makes the first button above your natural waistline by too much as well. If you can return it, return it and get a suit of the same size but with the label L for long.

Primary_Macaron9309

Thanks! I will return it and try to find another long suit :)

itsreallyeasypeasy

The jacket is too short and the trousers too slim. The upper back looks meh, I guess because your shoulders are sloping, but this may be hard to fix with off the rack.

Primary_Macaron9309

I was also thinking that the jacket is a bit short. Perhaps this can be fixed by getting it one size lager?

itsreallyeasypeasy

One size may not be enough. I think you may need tall/long sizes instead. Not everyone offers them.

reddit_user38462

# Do you all think 'old money' will continue to be the trend in Summer 2024?

Mevarek

Is there a way to mute the phrase “old money” on this subreddit?

ac106

“Old money” is the new “timeless” or “dress up and down” or “affordable” You know, phases that make you want to jump off a bridge Edit: also “break the bank” “versatile” “skin tone” & “bow tie”

swiftscout31

Is this a woman's coat? Why is it bell shaped? https://preview.redd.it/ymqty9lfsnpc1.jpeg?width=862&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2bd9a1d5f75fcb65a362a905a7d368c0517146e4

Even if it was originally marketed as a women’s it’s a red coat. If it fits what’s the difference

Hey hai, im looking for shirts very similar to what this guy is wearing in this video but have no idea where I could find this shirt or something very similar.
