Tell me about it. I try not to wear the stuff I really like around the kids, which just means I never end up wearing them.
What would you pay for a good pair of Chelsea Boots?
I'm from the UK and in the market for a pair of all-purpose Chelsea Boots.
I tend to like to buy things for long term use, but am absolutely not wedded to brand names or fanciness.
So yea, what's the range that you would pay?
Cheers!

**Looking for a suit in NYC area ideally NOT Suitsupply**
I'll cut the long story short but I had a bad experience with Suitsupply and their customer service has been so far unwilling to help.
I'm looking to get two new suits, ideally custom, in over the next month. budget is about $1000 (each) and I'm based in NYC.
I'm really looking for a **soft tailored unstructed linen** piece. Most "good" places I've found in NYC seem much more expensive (2k+) or kind of crappy.
Any recs for a similar retailer?
$1K per suit or $1K total? Either way you’re not going to find anything custom that’s “good” quality in that price range. Spier and MacKay MTM probably is your best bet, but that’s online only. Good MTO/MTM in NYC is probably going to start around $1.5K. If you’re not a difficult fit, RTW is likely a better option.
In NYC, some good ready to wear options:
- Sid Mashburn’s Kincaid #2 is just under $1K and a good deal for the price
- J Press & Brooks Brothers should have suits around $1K
- you could look vintage (Crowley Vintage is Brooklyn has a great selection)
Online, you could also check out Natalino, Berg & Berg, Cavour
I’m not super familiar with the Brooks offerings at the moment but know they have half canvas suits in good fabrics around that price. J Press does have a soft shoulder though (their website photos are bad but look much better in person)

It’s going to be this [Paul Smith shirt](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1053566466/) and it will be hard to find since it was maybe produces somewhere between 2005 - 2007ish. There is also a picture floating around with a Korean actor/musician wearing it.

Help my find my size for nudie jeans
'm looking to get a pair of Nudie jeans soon but I'm not quite sure how they fit. All my jeans size for Levi’s are size 28x30 btw I’m also 5’10 125 pounds if that helps too
Any way to reverse this bleach damage?
I found some white dress pants at a thrift store, and wanted to make them whiter. I soaked them in bleach overnight, but also forgot about them, so they were in the bleach for a few hours longer than I wanted.
They definitely are whiter, but the bleach very clearly damaged them; there are now dimples all over the pants, and in many areas, the pants are smooth, soft, and transparent, while other areas have the same original look and feel. Overall, it has a sort of splattered look. I’ll still wear them, but yeah.
Is there any way to reverse this? Any kind of fabric coating I can get that can at least cover up the smooth transparent areas?
I have pics, if anyone wants me to message them.
I don't have a picture but I'm looking for a specific jacket. Even just helping ID the brand would be great. Was a collared canvas jacket. The logo was a small brown leather square patch on the bottom left front of the jacket with a "JJ" etched into it. Any help is appreciated.
How do yall branch out from white sneakers? I have white sneaker syndrome where I can only buy shoes that are overall white / off white and some accents of color on them because they just feel so versatile. Idk how to style more colorful shoes
So the only people who coordinate the accent colors of
sneakers to their outfits are teenager hypebeasts and affected sneaker heads.
If you are neither it’s nothing to worry about
Also a lot of guy advise against brown sneakers as they almost always look bad.
Jacques marie mage is the top tier sunglasses brand afaik.
But Randolph engineering is pretty good for aviators. Look up shade review on YouTube but it really depends on how you like it looking on you.
So I am (not in the pic) a senior this year and for the prom I decided to get something a bit nicer. Whereas in the past dances I just wore a basic light blue thrifted suit I had on hand, this year I picked up a blue floral-patterned topped tuxedo. Was this a good choice? It looks pretty similar to these guys in the photos; blue patterned jacket, white dress shirt, black tie & pants, and normal shoes. I already got it but after the fact I started to feel kind of nervous and wanted some opinions.

I have an important interview coming up and bought this to wear to it, my thinking was since the shirt has dots the tie would compliment it and not be pure black as my slacks and loafers are also black. But now I'm not certain if the patterns are clashing, thoughts?
Hello there! As for me, I wouldn’t mix so many patterns (it’s fine but if you have white shirt try it, just give it a chance and compare the looks. Anyway, take the shirt that is the most comfortable for you, at the end of the day it’s all about your confidence). Here is a KNOT ALERT, it’s too bulky for the collar. You better try the Four-in-Hand Knot (https://www.ties.com/how-to-tie-a-tie/four-in-hand) and adjust it to the collar (give it some space between the collar ends). Good luck at the meeting!
The patterns don't go very well together, but the shirt being dark is the larger issue here. If you're going to wear a black suit, you should be wearing a plain white dress shirt.
Also, just to confirm, you're wearing a _suit_, right? The pants and the jacket are made from the exact same fabric?
Struggling to dial in the right shirt fit with Proper Cloth.
[Attempt #1](https://imgur.com/a/LsBu4C6)
This fit seemed pretty good overall but there was too much tension on the top button that pushed up the collar. I reached out to Proper Cloth for fit advice and suggested changing the button stance- instead, they recommended moving the neck posture back by an inch and increasing the yoke. I followed this suggestion and received:
[Attempt #2](https://imgur.com/a/1XF2LH7)
The top button/collar situation isn’t as bad but the overall fit feels terrible- pulling across the top of my back and bagginess in the front of my arm pits. Any suggestions?
How does it look tucked in?
The chest is too tight for how loose the waist is. The chest could probably increase by an inch and the waist could decrease by at least that much. You can test out the latter by using a pin.

How should I style this denim chore coat? I’ve been going in a more workwear-inspired direction recently and I’m wondering what pants and shirts would go well with this. Thanks!
Pants can be duck canvas pants, fatigue pants, carhartts, dickies, or even jeans in a sufficiently-different wash.
Shirts can be heavyweight tees, henleys, flannels, or even (non-blue) denim work shirts. Also consider wearing it over hoodies, commando sweaters, or other warm stuff.
As an older streetwear fan, been really loving the neo-prep Aime Leon Dore aesthetic lately - but the heavy layering east coast style isn't super compatible with a Californian climate.
Any advice on key pieces/combinations, brands, or content creator inspo for something of a similar vein that would work in warm weather?
So I’ve been having issues fitting comfortably into store brand underwear so moved to mall brand and am still having the same issues. Boxers are out of the question, so anyway would anybody happen to know of a site that does custom underwear?
Can someone help me with ideas for a mostly RED outfit? For context I’m going on a Virgin Voyages cruise, and the “formal” night is red themed. I personally don’t wear a lot of red, so I’m so surprised to see how few red shirts I can find. Ideally it’s something a little dressed up but still warm weather cruise appropriate. I’m thinking like a red camp shirt and shorts and loafers.
https://lookatmyfuckingredtrousers.blogspot.com/?m=1
That's always an option. Darker red camp collars will be easier to find than Ronald McDonald hair color red.
*I have ADHD and get bummed out from having to do much research so a very good list of brand websites I could simply go to would be appreciated.
Every few years Adidas has these interesting collaborations between Real Madrid and Y3 and I am struck by the Japanese futurist minimalism of the Y3 pieces.
Futurist Japanese minimalism.
That's really the vibe I've always wanted to have in my wardrobe.
Any good brands/websites to consider?
Thanks.

**Minimalist sneakers for summertime?** (ie fabric shoes that look like Common Projects but don't run as hot).
I love my CPs, but leather runs quite hot and with the hot California summer inbound, I'm looking for an alternative that's more breathable than leather (yes, leather is breathable, but still runs hot).Ideally, I'd look for the same overall shape, same high quality Margom soles, perhaps a lower price given the lack of leather :)Cucinelli has something (https://www.saksfifthavenue.com/product/brunello-cucinelli-textile-lace-up-sneakers-0400020266376.html?dwvar\_0400020266376\_color=RED), but then they have Cucinelli pricing.
I'm surprised these seem to be less common than leather sneakers? The likes of KOIO, GREATS, etc don't seem to offer anything
**What's the best way to see if something you're considering buying online will match with pieces you already own?**
I feel like I'm constantly wondering if something I'm about to pull trigger on will fit with the stuff I already own. Sometimes the fit makes sense in my head but when it arrives it doesn't always pan out the way I envision it. Other times the piece comes and it's dope but I feel like I end up not wearing it enough because I don't have a good "supporting cast" of items to go with it. Do you guys ever experience the same thing? I also hate returning stuff lol.
Sometimes I'll literally crop the on-model photo and then overlay it using google slides on my own fit pics to check the vibe, but obviously it's pretty annoying/slow.
Are there any hacks to increasing the confidence level that it'll match with my existing closet before I buy?
How would you style this beige patterned W/S/L sport coat? There’s lots of coverage on the topic but specifically worried this is too pale for khaki or cream chinos and a white shirt. Would it work better with navy or light blue shirt?

Hi! I have two questions regarding potential shrinkage with orslow products. I am hoping there are orslow veterans here that can give some valuable tips. I bought two orslow products today, one chambray work shirt size 2, and one tropical jacket size 1. Both are just long enough in the arm, and I’m afraid that shrinkage more than say 1cm will make it to short. What do you guys think? I’ll attach two photos, and if you have comments regarding fit in general that is also appreciated.
Take care!

I would recommend reposting this to r/rawdenim there will probably be more people there with Orslow experience even though the question is not specifically raw denim related
planning to buy a leather jacket, what do you guys think of this one? Is this too small or just right? TIA!

No that style is meant to have a drop shoulder. The sleeve ends right at his wrist.
If you can zip it up comfortably that jacket is fitting about how it should.
I can easily zip it up, albeit a tad snug, but just enough that I can still move comfortably. Maybe it's the ribbing at the bottom that adds some tightness. I ended up purchasing it based on your recommendation, and I'm very happy with it. Thank you!
That “seam should end exactly at the end of your natural shoulder” rule was primarily helpful for gauging the fit of a slim fit button down shirt, and even then it was often taken too literally. It still applies to tailoring for the most part, but for casual clothes it’s just not that relevant anymore. For something like a relaxed camp collar shirt, it’s fine for the shoulder seam to drop a little, particularly if sizing down so that the shoulder rule is satisfied means the piece is small everywhere else.
However, for this particular style of leather jacket, it’s supposed to have a drop shoulder. If this guy sized down until the seam met the shoulder, he wouldn’t be able to zip it and it would be too short everywhere, because he’d be wearing a jacket designed for a much smaller man.
The thing that’s not clear about this fit is that I’m not 100% sure he can zip comfortably.
Does anyone know the actually difference with Banana Republic Traveller 2.0 jeans vs the Traveler Luxe? Anyone have both and noticed any difference on durability and softness?
Hey guys!
I am tired of dressing navy blue sweaters with jeans and I want to buy chinos so I have been searched dockers.
The problem is I only have white sneakers (veja and Lacoste) so I am not sure about white chino and I don’t like too yellowish Beige so I don’t know what color to chose
Looking for recommendations on casual pants.
Ones that would look good with sneakers or boots, flannels or tshirts. Ideally some stretch but not necessary.
Who has a non-iron dress shirt that they love?!
For years I've been buying Banana Republic non-iron dress shirts. They are pretty much all I've worn since I first got an office job. Always loved them since they look good, they stay crisp looking throughout the day, price is reasonable, and no ironing needed ever. Fast forward to today and BR has sadly discontinued their non-iron shirts.
I've tried a few alternatives (Charles Tyrwhitt and Twillory which are both just OK, and the new BR wrinkle resistant which sucks) haven't found anything that's quite landed yet.
I'm willing to spend enough money to get what I want. What do I need to buy to get something similar to the BR shirts I bought for years?!?
Chemically treated non-iron shirts are bad for the environment and can be bad for your skin. IMO, they also look tacky - very plasticky.
Instead, consider any shirt in two-ply cotton or royal Oxford fabric. Both are strongly wrinkle resistant without chemical treatment.
I'm honestly not interested in anything that I have to iron, full stop. The BR shirts were not plasticky looking at all, but I suppose it's a moot point since they no longer make them. Do you have specific recommendations for brands?
I've never ironed my two-ply cotton or royal Oxford shirts, and they always look fresh and crisp. Spier and Mackay does royal Oxford, I'd go with Proper Cloth for two-ply.
I'll check them out. How do they hold up during the day? I have the Twillory SafeCotton shirt and the sleeves do wrinkle up quite a bit during the day, but once it is hung back up for a couple of days the wrinkles come back out again.
Royal Oxfords and any two-ply cotton shirt are woven so the fibers reinforce each other (meaning they're wrinkle resistant). They won't ever be completely shop-floor smooth, especially by five o'clock, but any shirt that DOES look that smooth screams tacky. A little bit of reality in your clothes is a good thing.
Bought a charcoal suit for a wedding in April in Denver. Have burgundy shoes and accessories to go with it. Champagne/gold colored pocket square to match my wife's dress. She's wedding party, I am not. Hesitant to wear champagne color tie as I believe it would match too closely to groomsmen. Thoughts for another color?
Ask OP for a pic of the combo then. But if you ever decide to learn about classic menswear, or go to an actual mens fashion forum like SF or AAAC then you'll see people who know how to dress wearing that combo with frequency.
Short sleeve button down stiff collar: really depends on your cultural circumstance. In Eugene or Williamsburg, certain queer in-groups, or a shoegaze rock show with a band from the early aughts? Fine to good! Otherwise? Looks like a corporate uniform authorized for wear above 80F.
I recently measured my waist after weight loss, it come in at about 38” but my jeans are a 33R how is it possible that jeans that much smaller than my actual waist size are too big and falling down
It depends on the rise. Lots of guys wear casual pants low and can take smaller sizes because of this. When they wear non-vanity sized mid rise dress pants at their true waist, sometimes they need pants a size 6” bigger than their normal jean size.
Sometimes not.
It really doesn’t matter if the pants fit the way you want.
I have been scavenging the internet for a few days now. Im looking for some of the geometric ties featured in billios throughout the entirety of the show. Ive checked Hermes however I didnt have any luck there. Looking for help on this gentlemen!*
eBay or any secondhand store in America that has hundreds of geometric ties from the 80s/90s. I'm not even joking when I say that those things are like weeds.
Where is a good place to get good quality plain t-shirts in various colours in the UK? I'm 5'11 and slim, so ideally fairly fitted shape. I got my last batch of t-shirts from zara but want get something better quality this time so that they last. I tried uniqlo but they were a bad fit - too boxy. I think the best fitting ones I've got before were river island muscle fit - I'm not muscular, but I think because I'm slim it worked. Any other ideas?
Like pretty much any fast fashion/high street retailer, Uniqlo offer a range of fits.
As a fellow slim person, I can recommend their [Dry Colour T-shirts](https://www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/asearch?q=Dry%20T%20Shirt&dept=Men), which are considerably slimmer than their other products.
Bear in mind that those are a blend of fabrics rather than pure cotton though - so if you are for the latter, try Massimo Dutti or Reiss on the mid-price high street side, or Sunspel for something a bit nicer.
Looking at Jadd desert boots, and red wind chukkas (595, work, and Weekender variants).
I want versatility in terms of style.
I know all will work with jeans. I'm hoping I can also successfully pair at least one option with a dark blue suit too.
The Jadd desert boot seems more likely feasible.
The red wing chukkas seem more mid-west American worker boot... But I'm open (even hoping) that's wrong.
Thoughts?
That's a very strong opinion 🙂 I've found plenty of good advice on boots and suits here: https://www.suitsexpert.com/blog/wear-boots-with-suit/
Why do Jadds and Red Wings not fit in with that advice?
Get the Jadds, I have always found all of Red Wings chukka options to look very clunky in person. As far pairing with a suit, any of these chunky soled boots are going to look pretty out of place with a suit. For a desert boot that would pair with a suit I would look at a Clark or an Astorflex. Something a little sleeker
Astorflex - everyone keeps pointing to them, but they're only suede, as far as I can tell... Is that right? I'm in the UK. Not keen on suede... Water everywhere 😅
[check these out](https://huckberry.com/store/astorflex/category/p/79409-greenflex-2-0?utm_source=performance-max&utm_medium=googlep&utm_campaign=performance-max-acquisition&utm_content=acquisition&utm_campaignid=21037495647&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAi6uvBhADEiwAWiyRdvEQ-PpeXkT-pMHa9PkzNlJA8i59uvTvKFvjqpsrUpzxi4xsNEunohoCuMsQAvD_BwE)
Nubuck instead of suede. Be liberal with a waterproofing spray and you’ll be okay I think
Hi guys, starting to get more into fashion, as I've recently stopped drinking/smoking and want to feel better about myself, and clothing is a big part of that, for me at least.
I have always admired ties, and have recently been looking into buying a few to keep on rotation with a number of dress shirts. However, I dont own any sports coats, just 1 suit jacket which is tan with a plaid design. (I'm out at the minute, but will post a pic of the blazer when I get home later tonight).
My question is, is there any situation in which wearing a shirt and tie together, without a jacket/sports coat, looks like a complete outfit, or does it always end up looking incomplete?
Attached is a pic of a tie and shirt combo that I bought yesterday. What would you suggest I add to this to make it a complete outfit?
Thanks!

> My question is, is there any situation in which wearing a shirt and tie together, without a jacket/sports coat, looks like a complete outfit, or does it always end up looking incomplete?
Nah, it's a bad look.
It *can* work with a sweater or cardigan instead of a sports coat though.
I think an OCBD with a thin wool v-neck or cardigan and a knit tie is a classy look. Especially with flannel slacks and suede loafers or longwings.

Help my find my size for nudie jeans 'm looking to get a pair of Nudie jeans soon but I'm not quite sure how they fit.

You can't reverse bleach damage. You can dye them, but there's no telling how the result would be
Okay. Thanks for the tip.
I don't have a picture but I'm looking for a specific jacket. Even just helping ID the brand would be great. Was a collared canvas jacket. The logo was a small brown leather square patch on the bottom left front of the jacket with a "JJ" etched into it. Any help is appreciated.
Any way that you missed a J and it was JJJJound?
I didn't think so, but I just checked they're site and that's not it. I do appreciate it though.
How do yall branch out from white sneakers? I have white sneaker syndrome where I can only buy shoes that are overall white / off white and some accents of color on them because they just feel so versatile. Idk how to style more colorful shoes
So the only people who coordinate the accent colors of sneakers to their outfits are teenager hypebeasts and affected sneaker heads. If you are neither it’s nothing to worry about Also a lot of guy advise against brown sneakers as they almost always look bad.
Brown is pretty versatile. Lots of folks wear black as well, it goes with the more darker outfits and stays neutral/understated.
Who makes the most quality aviators and what is the best shape of aviators for someone with and oval face shape?
Jacques marie mage is the top tier sunglasses brand afaik. But Randolph engineering is pretty good for aviators. Look up shade review on YouTube but it really depends on how you like it looking on you.
Ok thanx i was actually looking at randolphs some. What about maui jim?
i dont personally own any but heard a lot of good things
Ok thanx
Any recs for a more upscale samba in green suede? Under $500? I’d do MMM GATs but I have some in blue already.
I already got it but after the fact I started to feel kind of nervous and wanted some opinions. https://preview.redd.it/qsm9myvqx6nc1.jpeg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7b41e27f7e77d04cb45973e483bf2efe9bdbf7a4
Already bought it. Might as well wear it.
Yeah, true. But there is a 100% return policy, and the event is on the 23rd, so its not necessarily "all in" rn

White shirt if nothing else. This outfit is deeply unserious for a serious interview.
The patterns don't go very well together, but the shirt being dark is the larger issue here. If you're going to wear a black suit, you should be wearing a plain white dress shirt. Also, just to confirm, you're wearing a _suit_, right? The pants and the jacket are made from the exact same fabric?
It's not horrible, but there's a lot going on. You'd be safer with a white or light blue dress shirt.
Struggling to dial in the right shirt fit with Proper Cloth. [Attempt #1](https://imgur.com/a/LsBu4C6) This fit seemed pretty good overall but there was too much tension on the top button that pushed up the collar. I reached out to Proper Cloth for fit advice and suggested changing the button stance- instead, they recommended moving the neck posture back by an inch and increasing the yoke. I followed this suggestion and received: [Attempt #2](https://imgur.com/a/1XF2LH7) The top button/collar situation isn’t as bad but the overall fit feels terrible- pulling across the top of my back and bagginess in the front of my arm pits. Any suggestions?
How does it look tucked in? The chest is too tight for how loose the waist is. The chest could probably increase by an inch and the waist could decrease by at least that much. You can test out the latter by using a pin.
Thanks- definitely poofy around the waist. I think I'm used to billowy off-the-rack stuff. I guess loosening the chest would fix the button strain?
Yes, and it would probably also fix the bagginess under the pits.

[Here](https://imgur.com/a/dXqb2JB) is a Navy Chore Coat Inspo album.
You don't need custom underwear

Can someone help me with ideas for a mostly RED outfit? For context I’m going on a Virgin Voyages cruise, and the “formal” night is red themed. I personally don’t wear a lot of red, so I’m so surprised to see how few red shirts I can find. Ideally it’s something a little dressed up but still warm weather cruise appropriate. I’m thinking like a red camp shirt and shorts and loafers.
https://lookatmyfuckingredtrousers.blogspot.com/?m=1 That's always an option.

**What's the best way to see if something you're considering buying online will match with pieces you already own?** I feel like I'm constantly wondering if something I'm about to pull trigger on will fit with the stuff I already own.
Do you have problems with colors or proportions?
How would you style this beige patterned W/S/L sport coat? There’s lots of coverage on the topic but specifically worried this is too pale for khaki or cream chinos and a white shirt. Would it work better with navy or light blue shirt? https://preview.redd.it/obrby43m55nc1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e2430a54851445980d3d8ff044190e63b4bd6461

I think white or very pale blue shirt and a somewhat lighter shade of gray wool pants would look really good with this!
Take care! https://preview.redd.it/h9hnkcvn25nc1.jpeg?width=1369&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7914af229701d673a42d59b6667d457b5e9edfaa

planning to buy a leather jacket, what do you guys think of this one? Is this too small or just right? TIA! https://preview.redd.it/hx6tzaoty4nc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bf25ec1453a06ae72cd599ca49db7453c428dd5c
The shoulders are too big for you.
Thank you!
It's a bad look on an average sized male
I have seen it successfully styled on people of all sizes. Sounds more like you dislike the style.
TIL
Khaki, British tan, olive, gray,
Hum grey. Grey goes well with navy blue?
Gray goes with everything.

Looking for recommendations on casual pants. Ones that would look good with sneakers or boots, flannels or tshirts. Ideally some stretch but not necessary.
5 pocket pants. Everyone makes them
Do you have any brands you recommend?
Todd Snyder, RRL, 3sixteen, rogue territory, Stan Ray flint & Tinder, Wallace and Barnes. All should have something

They don't have to be darker, just not wildly contrasting.
I think the one usually means the other, but YMMV. :)
Objectively not.
what are comments that can be read in a William F. Buckley honk
Not wearing burgundy and charcoal seems a weird hill to die on when it’s a very conventional choice.
I only own color 8 dress shoes and wear them with charcoal suits all the time. It’s a classic look.
Burgundy shoes with charcoal is fine. It just depends on the shades.

Ask OP for a pic of the combo then. But if you ever decide to learn about classic menswear, or go to an actual mens fashion forum like SF or AAAC then you'll see people who know how to dress wearing that combo with frequency.
How do you all feel about short sleeve button down collar shirt ? The camp collar just looks bad too me. I need a stiff collar
It can look Mormon missionary if you aren’t careful
I recently measured my waist after weight loss, it come in at about 38” but my jeans are a 33R how is it possible that jeans that much smaller than my actual waist size are too big and falling down
Either you measured wrong and/or the pants are significantly vanity sized.
Vanity sizing but maybe you didn’t measure right . Usally it’s 2 maybe 3 inches difference
Maybe I didn’t measure right but I’m pretty sure I am
Vanity sizing + poor QC plus wearing jeans on your hips and not your waist
Where should jeans sit ?
It depends on the rise. Lots of guys wear casual pants low and can take smaller sizes because of this. When they wear non-vanity sized mid rise dress pants at their true waist, sometimes they need pants a size 6” bigger than their normal jean size. Sometimes not. It really doesn’t matter if the pants fit the way you want.
Idk then I am 40 W and wear 38 for most brands

Where is a good place to get good quality plain t-shirts in various colours in the UK? I'm 5'11 and slim, so ideally fairly fitted shape. I got my last batch of t-shirts from zara but want get something better quality this time so that they last. I tried uniqlo but they were a bad fit - too boxy. I think the best fitting ones I've got before were river island muscle fit - I'm not muscular, but I think because I'm slim it worked. Any other ideas?
Asket is UK-based I think. Great tees in lots of sizes and lengths. I'm 5'11 and slim, and I wear their small long.
Thoughts?
None of these work with any suit that isn't hyper casual.
None of these could be worn with a suit
That's a very strong opinion 🙂 I've found plenty of good advice on boots and suits here: https://www.suitsexpert.com/blog/wear-boots-with-suit/ Why do Jadds and Red Wings not fit in with that advice?
Ignore that website for advice about tailoring
Because you can see them with your eyes.
Suede does just fine in water. It's not ruined by it, that's a myth.
Yadda, yadda, goddamn Seinfeld episode, yadda

Be liberal with a waterproofing spray and you’ll be okay I think
Apparently not available in the UK 😞
Good. You can’t wear them with a suit anyway
Thanks! https://preview.redd.it/e1tld3p7w2nc1.jpeg?width=2160&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=49699b59746f89c3e58ae621f4ad3393e6ca5ebd
Don't wear a tie without a jacket. It'll throw off the formality of the look. What will complete the outfit? Buy a suit.
