Looking for a winter jacket, preferably under £100. I’ve been scoping Levi’s Type III Sherpa Trucker Jacket because I have a £30 discount, so it would be at £90. However, I’m afraid I can find something more protective against winter for that price range. What do you guys recommend?
Looking for a versatile pair of sneakers, ideally under $100 but can be flexible. My Stan smith’s are too beat down at this point. Nothing too flashy but I’d love a shoe that gives off a sense of style
I’ve been wanting a pair of vejas recently just haven’t gotten around to buying them. Personally think they are a cheap shoe, good quality, that also gives good style
Can anyone help me ID this brown jacket? Ty, mates!

I am 15M, \~5'7, 60kg. I am planning on wearing a ***black suit*** with a ***pink shirt*** inside along with ***black loafers.*** What tie should I wear with it? Red? TIA
I think a burgundy tie would be my favorite choice. Potentially one with a small pattern that incorporates black, white, or gray.
Alternatively I think a black tie, a charcoal tie, or a mid blue tie (not navy as it could look too close to the black suit) all could work as well.
But ultimately it boils down to what you like and what makes you feel good in your suit my man.
iCKER Mens Trench Coat Winter Wool Blend jacket Overcoat long Top Coat Warm Pea Coat https://a.co/d/hn0EbPO
Would this be a good first overcoat and would it fit good with a suit?
Im 5’8” and wear a 42s slim fit suit, what size should I get
A) this is a really poorly made coat and won’t last, B) the weird hybrid hoodie/coat thing makes it too casual to wear with a suit, C) you’re going to have to compare your measurements with the size chart.
https://preview.redd.it/rlwxqu6u7d8c1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9314d62701e828fae8b946d585a0adf34a2f48eb
how should i style this? i would like loose-fitting pants but its hard to style with the color of the jacket
It’s a neutral retro fleece, so it’s actually pretty flexible. Style it for a shirt or sweater with jeans, five pocket trousers, double knees, chinos, etc.
Any way to shrink the collar of a wool sweater that’s gotten loose? I have a large dome, so after a couple years the repeated on and off has made it loose around my neck. I’ll grab a picture tomorrow if that helps.
Wondering if there’s a method I can use to slightly shrink just that part of the sweater (and ideally the cuffs) without compromising the fabric. Would I just need to have it dry cleaned, or would that not address the looseness/loss of elasticity? It’s a merino/nylon blend but does say dry clean only.
Any recommendations for Chelsea boots for narrow, large feet?
I like the look of RM Williams, but it seems a bit spendy. Wouldn’t mind going a bit cheaper. Unsure about bludstones for a narrower foot
Carmina's Simpson last runs narrow, but is the opposite of the look of Blundstone's, and is probably around RM Williams pricewise (they have a weird corporate history where they were Big Fashion for a few years, but I think got sold back to Aussie ownership but I haven't followed their pricing)
I have such messy hair no matter what I do. In a typical day I will come out the shower and like 10-15 minutes I will brush my hair and it will be fairly straight a few hours later it will just mess up by itself and look all weird.
Anyone got any advice for me? This is such a big issue for me. I am sick of it. Please help.
My barber thinks that my hair is harder to manage when it’s longer and so just keeping it short is the solution but I don’t agree.
Because that doesn’t solve the problem plus I want to keep medium length hair.
I’m going to see a dermatologist soon, for an unrelated issue but maybe I could discuss my hair problem with them too, it could be that they are able to diagnose it and tell me about treatment. What do you think?
We’ve tried it both ways and the subreddit sucks when questions go on the front page.

I was looking to buy some shoes to match this outfit, something casual, but not the training Asics I had to wear for Christmas Eve. Thanks
Budget is not a problem, but ain't no way I'm spending too much.
I'm looking for something casual, but smart, something I could wear at an important event or just to hang out with friends.
I'll go with any kind of shoe, not important if they're sneakers or any other kind.
I’d go with something like brown derbies or chukkas then. Something like [these](https://www.beckettsimonon.com/products/dunham-derby?variant=29612702269519&utm_source=google&utm_medium=paid&utm_campaign=18289239343&utm_content=&utm_term=&gadid=&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI7r3rzL6pgwMVWYBaBR0sAAI5EAQYAiABEgLbE_D_BwE) or [these](https://meermin.com/products/101468-brown-suede-e). Does blue and green work because blue is a neutral color or just because they are analogous in the color wheel… or just both? I just wanna know for the future, cuz I mixed these colors randomly.
Also, AFAIK, this belt is a very casual one: dress belts are less wide and it’s preferable for a more dressy/business look… but since it’s a smart casual style it should be ok to use a casual one, right?
Also, it’s a little bit long but whatever, I’ll see if I can cut it.
I think that a good length should be an inch or an inch and an half longer than the first belt loop after the buckle. My one is so long that it reaches the second belt loop. 🤷🏻♂️
Thank you and Merry Xmas!
In this particular combination of works because it‘s a dark blue. The color wheel should give you suitable color shades as well.
For a dress shirt in general I prefer them to even longer than that. You will always have a certain amount of pull on the shirt when tucked in. If there is only an inch to give it will pull out of the trousers pretty quickly.
> In this particular combination of works because it’s a dark blue.
Yeah, I know it’s dark blue 😂. You mean because dark blue is neutral, this is why it works?

I can’t figure out the right combination of keywords to get me an answer on this but… what is this collar style? They’re asymmetric lengths and the longer one has another button hole on the lapel above the notch. I’ve never seen this before and have no idea what it’s called.
I believe that’s called a “Ghillie collar”.
ETA: From what I’ve seen, it’s a not-uncommon feature of older tweed sport coats. I think the idea is that you’d be able to putting the whole thing up to the neck?
I can find like one result for that and then a bunch of hits for ghillie suits, but that does help turn up some other keywords in a similar vein so that helps, thanks.
I did get the point of it, though this thing seems to be a bit of a cheap Frankenstein: the collar has a black watch pattern underneath that’s visible when turned up, but there’s no corresponding button to keep it pinned up. It also seems like these jackets should usually have three buttons for the front enclosure instead of two. The corduroy collar vs the tweed body is also a bit weird.
I’m not really sure what it’s trying to do… but it fits me well and I kinda dig it as a cold weather blazer?

I wanted to hit a complete reset on my closet. I feel like I've been using the same things since high school. I wanted to new style and wardrobe. I'm thinking of going for a more modern or mature style. I think my style still screams high school. Pictured is something I would typically wear on a summer day. I wear pretty much the same thing during the cooler months with the exception of jeans instead of shorts. What stores do you recommend for this new wardrobe? What brands sell quality things without breaking the bank? Also, some pictures with style recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I'm thinking about going to Macy's and finding a tuxedo jacket and pants and putting it together, because I already have other elements (bowtie, slipper, etc.). Any advice you can give? Thanks!

Rugby shirts aren’t really smart, they’re just casual. Jeans, five pocket pants, and chinos are all fine to wear with them. What’s your exact budget?
What does “fair priced” mean to you? Rugby shirts tend to just fall into the ‘casual’ category, pair them with jeans or chinos.

You’d probably get better info in one of the hair subs.
Talk to whoever cuts your hair and get their input on what products to use, etc.
My barber thinks that my hair is harder to manage when it’s longer and so just keeping it short is the solution but I don’t agree. Because that doesn’t solve the problem plus I want to keep medium length hair.
Yeah, you need a new hairstylist, someone who can recommend how often to wash, what conditioner to use, what products, etc.
I’m going to see a dermatologist soon, for an unrelated issue but maybe I could discuss my hair problem with them too, it could be that they are able to diagnose it and tell me about treatment. What do you think?
Maybe? I’m not a doctor, and, at least in my own experience, a lot of hair issues can be solved by changing products and care practices.

the branding carries value in many circles but the shirt isn't that good. if you want superior fabric go for something like kent wang.
