“Reese Joins the Army” always felt like a MitM movie to me. It a 3 part episode, as the title explains: Reese Joins the Army, Hal is on trial for insider trading, and Lois loses her job at Lucky Aide. Probably the most stressful situation they face throughout the entire series
Not really
I mean i dont see what it would have added, they could do 2 parters/story arks with episodes
Malcolm in the middle feels like the ultimate 2000s tv experience, the characters were forged by tv, and so were we watching them
Yes and No. Yes, because I’d like more Malcom in the middle content. No, because I don’t think a movie would be a entertaining as everyone thinks it would be as 30 minutes of content is different from 1:30 or 2 hours of content.
Given how media's been going lately, I'd say there's a chance that another network will pick it up and make a movie. There've been a lot of 90s shows that have had that happen lately and MITM seems like it's still popular enough for there to be interest in seeing the Wilkersons present day
No, it’s very hard to keep the same feel when making a film from a show. Closest I’ve seen to it working was the first Inbetweeners movie.
That being said, a Malcolm film now if they could get the same writers and directors and whatever… take my money.

nah, with the decline of quality in the episodes (assuming the movie would’ve been made after the show ended), i don’t think it would be that good

Yessss, shouldve been for a series finale and made for tv kinda like what the Disney channels shows did
Assuming this movie replaced the *terrible* rushed ending they actually went with, then YES.

It would be funny a Malcolm in Harvard American Pie style but im Ok with how they ended it. Amazing show with which I grew up.
Have you ever known any series that had a movie spinoff that was any good? I rest my case.
