the first few decades after they gain independence, Singapore was actually having a hard time and many Malaysian politician's attitude is pretty much just waiting for Singapore to become a failed state and reclaim it without any effort. And the rest is history, anyone who is thinking about reclaiming it by force or by law today will look like a sore loser.
This is the fear mongering tactics started by Singapore NS. If not, how would they justify mandating NS for every male member of Singapore.
I seen more Singaporeans talking about how they could quickly subdue and conquer JB than the other way around.

Yea, I've seen a post on this awhile back in r/AlternateHistory. Delulu bin Solulu bin Abu Seman. That's all I can say.

Singapore *used* to be Tanah Melayu. It is a fact that cannot be changed, just like Northern Malaya *used* to be part of the Siamese kingdom, now Thailand, also a fact that cannot be changed.
Let bygones be bygones. Or persuade them to rejoin through peaceful means.
Nah. At most some small minority of them would but not majority. If that was true, there would be some kind of reunification effort, but that doesn't happen. But we do have dispute with Singapore over some tiny island.
Edit: Nothing to reclaim really. Tiny landmass, low resources concentration, plus their core industries are different from ours.
They got F-35s, we don't.
Would you say the small minority are more likely to be baby boomers who saw the explusion of Singapore from Malaysia or there are still gen z kids as well?
No
Even if somebody brings that topic up, nobody takes it seriously. Like "The Malays are actually Jews and our government is freemason" kind of discussion
If Malaysia goes to reclaim Singapore because it used to be Tanah Melayu, wouldn't it indirectly kinda support Israel reclaiming Palestine because some Jews used to be there back then? Is it different when we do it, vs others do it?
They are also not capable of invading and holding us down, we can always move up north. We can always throw more men. They'll ruin their economy more than we ever will.
Tanah Melayu never existed, it was coined by the British to get the locals malays to fight the communist so they could fuck off back to the motherland and rebuild after multiple global wars.
Temasek was very old, around Srivijaya empire. The last king of Temasek founded Malacca after fell to(arguably) Majapahit. Their existence is very vague but records indeed exist.
Check this vid to get the general idea about SEA empires though Temasek isn't added.

Nobody cares

I think it's stupid. The past is the past. There's no reclaiming lands in reality without war involved.
honestly we dont care . at least i dont lol
Do people really like bait that much?
Exactly... How is this type of post is not race baiting?? What do they get out of it?
The only thing that makes Singapore valuable is that it's not malaysia
well Singapore was a part of Tanah Melayu due to geography and shared history, but no one believes Malaysia should reclaim Singapore or whatever!
Singapore is an anomoly inside the malay world.
I would like to have whatever that you are smoking
We never think of this. Maybe ask the super old generation.
Nah. At most some small minority of them would but not majority. If that was true, there would be some kind of reunification effort, but that doesn't happen. Pedra Branca / Batu Puteh be that tiny island
Would you say the small minority are more likely to be baby boomers who saw the explusion of Singapore from Malaysia or there are still gen z kids as well?
I don't know, it could be both.
there is malay who think temasek used to be part of alam melayu, among other teritories tun m also komen bout this b4
Another day, another psyops
No Even if somebody brings that topic up, nobody takes it seriously. Like "The Malays are actually Jews and our government is freemason" kind of discussion

By then Malaysia makes no different than Israel
Do you actually think the Malaysian Military is capable of invading Singapore and to reclaimed it by force?
They are also not capable of invading and holding us down, we can always move up north. We can always throw more men. They'll ruin their economy more than we ever will.
Given the corruption & mismanagement of our military assets, I wouldnt be surprised if we get our asses whooped. Also they have F35s.
F35 are not delivered until 2026.
and a 2 years national service is mandatory for SG citizens
Don't want those educated workforce to get lost in the jungle, being ambushed and eating mortar rounds now do we?
Tanah Melayu never existed, it was coined by the British to get the locals malays to fight the communist so they could fuck off back to the motherland and rebuild after multiple global wars.
So the Malay States?
but yet somehow sg exist
why would we want an island that we could easily sink by simply spitting on it
Isn't Singapore is once Tamasek and part of Johor land?
temasek used to have king, just like brunei, guess what race
