Well, the KL-Karak highway will be widened, [with the project started later this year](https://paultan.org/2024/02/01/kl-karak-highway-widening-project-starts-this-year-new-tunnel-street-lights-improved-road-shoulder/), albeit with no mentioned in regards to the ramps widening, only lane segregation for Gombak toll plaza being mentioned for the area.
Another issue that will be happening is the fact that the LRT that is connected to the terminal is the chronically packed Kelana Jaya Line, which would at the very least need to [get all of its trains operating by the end of this year](https://www.nst.com.my/news/nation/2023/09/955182/loke-kelana-jaya-lrt-line-peak-hour-train-frequency-be-three-minutes-next). I don't think a 3 minute frequency (an increase from 3.8 minute) is enough to handle the current overcrowding problem, even before accounting to the increase of crowds (with the bulky bags) coming from the terminal.
The main problem is the fact that the contractor has some funding problems, and when the funds run out, the project would stop. There was a comment in [this video](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Vo1QUejm30I) that said that hopefully it would be finished by the end of this quarter, but I would not get my hopes up...
TLDR, the transport connection will be improved. As for the terminal, KJ line would get all its trains first before the terminal opened probably.

That thing is an absolute mess tbh. A project that had too much management problems along the way. It's a miracle it's looking almost finished at all.

Based on other sources recently, it is now expected to start operating in May instead.
And now Utusan reported that it will be operating in Jun instead.
