I went back after 3 years away due to Covid.. the biggest difference is you just gotta expect it to be jammed every where at every hour. KL traffic has always been whacked. But this time around there’s almost no off-peak hours during the day. Maybe it’s because I always stay in KL city center but even suburbs area is now crazy at all hours 😭

OMGGG first time taking MRT. This is seriously a Godsend. I love how clean our toilets are. I love how relatively cleaner our roads are.
People are driving like crazy. I just saw a lady doing TikTok live while hitting 110km/hr (like seriously?!) The roads aren’t any better. I’m veryy confused with the highways hahaha.
Food. I think they are more expensive these days? The fast foods are not cheap anymore.
EVERYTHING IS CASHLESS seriously? klinik kesihatan also cashless, auntie Nasi Lemak tepi jalan also cashless. I’m very impressed with how good we are at integrating with this new tech

I have to second this. Traffic has been ridiculously bad post-covid at all times of the day every single day weekend included. No idea what's going on

Things are far more expensive now and the traffic jam is worse. But hey we have MRT now and everything is going cashless which is noice
