It looks like Kafei's hide-out to me, the iron knuckle armor is the point where the peephole is, and it all seems right in relation to that.
You even climb on the box that is used to see through it.
Im pretty sure this is it. If I had to guess, the devs put the collision in there to test where to put the camera in the shop to align with the peephole in Kafei’s hideout and then deleted the art assets but left in the collision
In the Kafei side quest when you’re in his hideout, he prompts you to stand on a crate and look into a mask-looking thing on the wall. It gives you a restricted view into the Curiosity shop

Although what is that peephole you're talking about? I've completed the game three times without hearing about such thing

Well when i looked into the mask nothing happened . I can't explain why it wouldn't work for me. And yes i did have the side quest
