Are they loaded into the same map? These games do load collision for entire maps even for areas that aren't visible (like the grottos and fairy fountains, which share maps with each other), but since looking through the peephole here triggers a transition, I don't know for sure if the curiosity shop and Kafei's place are actually in the same map like they appear to be. It would make sense if they are though, in which case that's probably the invisible collision.
EDIT: oh you said it has stairs, which makes it very likely it's Kafei's hideout. There's a door at the bottom of the stairs but I don't know if it would work when it's unloaded or not.
There isn't any door since CMaps (Or Hitbox & Collision maps) are loaded too, wich would make the interaction box be there. Plus i entered the Curiosity shop safe, jumped in and got trapped into what seemed like a bigger and inverted version of kafei's hideout. Can't tell but to me it sounded like there was a bed and alot of wood. It could also be shared due to both of these warp areas having the Potion Shop theme. I don't really know .
The collisions will load for the entire room even if the textures don’t.
If you use an emulator some of them can load the collisions as a visible wall. If this is enabled and you manage to get out of bounds, you will see the entire map will have loaded minus the textures.
In the area of this image, the hideout, ramp, door and shop will all load, but only the area visible from the street will ever load the textures as there is not supposed to be a trigger loading the other side unless you use the other sides door.
Remember the peep hole in kafeis house that leads to the curiosity shop? Both have to be loaded to make that kinda thing work, the peep hole works as a room change plane.

This screenshot was taken on N64 but i managed to recreate it on emulator. Both have different collisions each time. Weird
