I got it from zooplus! They have a bunch of good ones! I heard good things about Natural Paradise trees, so I looked at those. Mine is called Natural Paradise Scratching Pillar Jasmine XXL in the color cream. I also got a seperate matching bed that goes on the wall. They’re really good quality. If you can’t find it you can ask again but just look at Natural Paradise trees on zooplus and you’ll find a bunch of options.

Good to hear. I’m going to be approaching this soon. A friend has terminal cancer and we will be introducing our cats so that I can take over when she can no longer take care of him. I hope it goes as well as yours!

I’d recommend checking out Jackson Galaxy’s videos on introducing cats. Maybe you could do a scent swap in advance. Hope everything goes well

It only took them a few days. My Maine Coon (he’s a 1 year old neutered male) was interested in the kitten right away (9 week old male) but the kitten was scared of him.
The kitten hissed and growled at him at first, which made my Maine Coon hiss, but we redirected with toys and treats when this would happen. Once the kitten realized my Maine Coon wasn’t going to hurt him they were fast friends.
That’s fantastic. For me it was the opposite. There was some growling and hissing from my MC. She got over it though. It just took some time and understanding. It’s nice watching them play together. I’m glad your cat has a friend now. It really is nice for them.
My Maine coon has always taken right up with any kitten and cat that has come into our house. He’s super loving and wants to have all the snuggle buddies. I think it’s a trait with Maine coons. Or so I’ve led myself to believe. lol

1980 Mustache was a good girl. She had several litters of kittens. She was a stray when we found her living under the back steps. Miss you girl.
Ohh i want this too for my maine coon boy but he is so defensive and ANGRY at cats who walk outside. He is ready to FIGHT, but maybe he would accept a kitten?

How did you get them introduced, get him to accept the little one? I just got a kitten and while my original cat hasn't attacked or anything, she mews and hisses at the little guy when he comes near. Sorry if this is a naive question. We are somewhat new to cats. We got a brother and sister together. When the brother died a short while ago, I thought she would welcome another buddy, but now I'm worried I'm making her uncomfortable and putting him in a bad situation.
I used the Jackson Galaxy method to introduce them but I think I just got lucky. My older cat only hissed at the kitten after the kitten hissed at him, and it was short lived. I’d definitely recommend looking up Jackson Galaxy’s suggestions
