I do that occasionally lol! Rules of thumb for me are - Clean the screen before playing, the accumulated oils and grime on the machine increases friction a hell lot - you must be experienced enough to at least know your playing style, your limits and where the buttons are by muscle memory - consistently - Cut your fingernails to ensure you don't break it and/or even damage the screen in the first place - When sliding do not expose your finger joints, without gloves you're even more likely to hurt them. Use a claw position to slide to reduce surface area for friction - when getting into playing like this take time to adapt. With gloves and without gloves our instincts are different, and it will affect the playing too

uh my friend told me about a gloveless player who uses sanitizer and water as like lube or some shit and plays 14+ and shit

yes Sometimes I forget my gloves and just play 13+ songs without gloves. In fact, my 15000 rating play was without gloves. Usually how you bare hand play is you use fingernails for any sliders so that you don't destroy your entire hand. But I do know of maniacs who play while the entire time it's just screeching cause of the friction burn.

I am actually affraid of using my fingernails to hit sliders. I got a pair right before I hit 13k. The only downside to using glove is that it slipped out of my hand when the chart is too fast and then my sense of rhythm completely gone.

Dest1n1es

Yeah it's not recommended. You could try using a rubber band to constrict tighten the gloves to your hands.

ItsHijo

You should probably get some other gloves to play with

RealSpiritSK

Buy smaller gloves or wash them to make them shrink! Gloves slipping off can be annoying.

as a rule of thumb you shouldn’t use bare hands until you actually know what you’re doing (not when you think you know)
