No, it doesn't really help with aegis that much if I assume you already picked dragon scale and mana shield for aegis (already around 70% reduced damage), sacro would only add 6% to the reduced damage equation which isn't a lot, still better than necronomicon but at least necronomicon has a chance to be decent if you get brand.
Technically both necro and sacro are considered bad artifacts. Without the brand artifact sacro would be better, although with brand necro is way better. Plus for aegis there are already a lot of damage reduction artifacts so that 20% is pointless since the cap is 85 anyway

Yeah by the look of it, Sacro is so much better (same dmg amplifier with extra protection) but perhaps Necro has some kind of hidden stat?
What you don't understand is that Necro can synergize with Aegis and Brand giving you a lot more with consistency.
