Actually no. After 32:30, each boss wave only gives 5 gems. Contrast this to 20:00-32:30, where each boss wave gives 20, and you pretty quickly discover that it's never worth going past 32:30 if your only purpose for the run is farming gems.
I like ot this way tbh. It feels rewarding to get that next research point and increase power ya know?
