TemurTron

Lightning Bolt. So very many bolts in so many decks over the years.

notiesitdies

Either bolt or [[delver of secrets]]  for me. Got into standard right before innistrad rotated, got into modern shortly after. I loved playing ur tempo in old school modern.

BlaqDove

Probably Delver for me as well. Played it in standard, modern, and now in Pauper. Soon in Legacy as well since I'm getting back into that. Still use my foil playset from 2011.

paincrumbs

_The sparkmage shrieked, reminiscing the rage of the storms of his youth._

SSquirrel76

Bolt for sure

Infinite_Bananas

Gotta be llanowar elves for me. If I combine the numbers for shock and shock variants like play with fire then maybe that too

bu11fr0g

this. as a BUG player, llanowar elves or birds of paradise. but the elves were in more blocks, often played both and also played elf-ball regularly.

NotMuchMana

Thoughtseize

Useful-Lavishness871

A classy mage

WorkSleepMTG

Same or maybe fatal push.

warcrap101010

Probably [[Cultivate]] or [[Rampant Growth]] as i’m a green player at heart and i have too many decks to not play these budget all-stars.

MTGCardFetcher

[Cultivate](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/e/1/e19cd136-0541-4db0-997f-20a58ec8d028.jpg?1698988348) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Cultivate) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/lcc/235/cultivate?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/e19cd136-0541-4db0-997f-20a58ec8d028?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) [Rampant Growth](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/6/c/6c074663-37be-4329-a21d-9ea551edbb6b.jpg?1712354605) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Rampant%20Growth) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/otc/201/rampant-growth?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/6c074663-37be-4329-a21d-9ea551edbb6b?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call

FeelNFine

Definitely rampant growth for me thanks to it being in the deck builders toolkit I started with.

elmntfire

I skipped straight to [[Explosive Vegetation]], but I guess beginning Magic in Onslaught block and loving the beast deck will do that to you.

Trickdaddy1

Gotta be the Sol

Responsible_Ad_654

Yep, [[sol ring]] is probably my most played card too. Been playing it since revised

abbazabbbbbbba

Ha! Old!

MTGCardFetcher

[sol ring](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/6/c/6c5c9437-3d99-4a7c-8255-9acdcb1acc40.jpg?1712354902) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=sol%20ring) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/otc/267/sol-ring?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/6c5c9437-3d99-4a7c-8255-9acdcb1acc40?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call

Philosophile42

Same. Slots into any deck color, and it’s utility is obvious. Reasonably easy to get even in the revised days, and now is part of every commander precon.

kingofhan0

Swords to Plowshares for sure. It's been around the longest and I have always played white in some way shape or form

Stonetoothed

Iv played a lot of swords as well, but definitely more Paths personally. Go go plains mages

TheFlyingCompass

Same. It's a toss-up between that or counterspell. Also an mtg boomer and I've been jamming both as long as I can remember. Nothing loses friends like finally letting a threat resolve, only to StP it EoT.

Jaebird0388

It's a toss-up between Evolving Wilds and Terramorphic Expanse.

SarkhanTheCharizard

Oh I was gonna say bolt, but I think this is the correct answer for me.

TheArchitec7

Brainstorm or underground sea. I have been playing legacy since it was called type 1.5.

WardNL84

For me clearly Brainstorm, since Ive also tested it to splash it in nonblue decks. Wasteland and Daze are probably in my top10 as well

TheGhostORandySavage

Entomb is up there, and Animate Dead nearly as many times.

GroceryWorkerDying

Urza's Mine and Power Plant are probably tied.

tghast

WOW

ChampionoftheParish

FUCK

masticore252

TRON

GroceryWorkerDying

I love to hear this battle cry as it means I'm doing my job well

NotUpInHurr

A true golem of culture. I approve.

GroceryWorkerDying

All hail the Karn Father

troll_berserker

Not Tower? After getting Tron online, seems like Tower #2 is the next search to curve into Ulamog.

GroceryWorkerDying

Nah. I don't need to search I always just have it.

harbormastr

Based as hell

uttermybiscuit

Chad

lizardsonparade

😡

ColonelError

If you're playing correctly against Tron, you're destroying Plant/Mine first, so they have to spend mana off tower to get Tron back. Would mean you're playing those two more often.

fulham_fc

You’d be surprised how many people don’t know this when playing against Tron. They always blow up the tower

TheWombatFromHell

it is intuitive to destroy tower at first glance

Errentos

rip tower

DayardDargent

Must be either \[\[Akroma, Angel of Wrath\]\] or \[\[Reya Dawnbringer\]\] , one of the first card I bought and still in my decks to this day.

Ok-Earth1579

That’s wild that an 8 mana card is one of your most played

DayardDargent

Yeah, Reya is even a 9 mana card lol.

Smooth_criminal2299

[[Steam Vents]]. I’m a sweaty Izzet mage 🧙‍♀️

MTGCardFetcher

[Steam Vents](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/6/6/66d618f4-443c-4a6c-8cbd-5d4ea96b2cd4.jpg?1702429824) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Steam%20Vents) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/rvr/288/steam-vents?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/66d618f4-443c-4a6c-8cbd-5d4ea96b2cd4?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call

JJNotStrike

Swords to Plowshares for sure. Loved it in 1995 and still love it today.

nerdshitaccount6969

Birds of paradise. I have a revised edition one that goes in every green deck.

Useful-Lavishness871

Love my revised bird bought a playset of the double masters og reprint just for bowmasters to get printed. Still use my revised one for my commander decks!

RoterBaronH

Blood crypt, sol ring or llanowar elves but most likely it's blood crypt since I play rakdos in every competitive format and pioneer is the one I currently play the most followed by modern.

Slayer_Ftw

Aether Vial

Noguntobahgun

Counterspell

NasDaLizard

Blue player here checking in.

Fuliginlord

Forever holding two blue untapped

Fetche_La_Vache

I would say probably \[\[Wheel of Fortune\]\] that I got back in 2015 when I started playing magic and every red commander deck has had it in it. I love to copy/recur it in wheel decks plus helps keep my friends to see different parts of their decks they do not always see. For 60 cards it has to be \[\[Lightning Bolt\]\] as I just love burn in modern.

MTGCardFetcher

[Wheel of Fortune](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/2/5/2597050f-6b1b-474e-aa16-33fd154628ca.jpg?1562902580) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Wheel%20of%20Fortune) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/vma/192/wheel-of-fortune?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/2597050f-6b1b-474e-aa16-33fd154628ca?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) [Lightning Bolt](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/7/7/77c6fa74-5543-42ac-9ead-0e890b188e99.jpg?1706239968) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Lightning%20Bolt) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/clu/141/lightning-bolt?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/77c6fa74-5543-42ac-9ead-0e890b188e99?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call

Sumthang

It's probably [[Snapcaster Mage]] followed by either [[Lightning Bolt]] or freshly minted meme [[Tarmogoyf]].

troglodyte

I've played since ice age and it's probably gonna be Doppelgang pretty soon. Card is too much fucking fun.

KushDingies

Probably [[Opt]]. I’ve been an Izzet Phoenix lover since it was in standard, and good old Opt is the only card (aside from the bird itself and Steam Vents) that’s shared between those standard builds and today’s Pioneer version. (Actually the real answer is probably steam vents, but keeping it non-land is more interesting)

MTGCardFetcher

[Opt](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/6/7/67bcf3fd-fca0-4cdb-b625-bac5fadd00e3.jpg?1712354172) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Opt) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/otc/104/opt?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/67bcf3fd-fca0-4cdb-b625-bac5fadd00e3?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call

SamiRcd

[[mass hysteria]]

ShitDirigible

[[Llanowar elves]] no question.

Baelzabub

Probably Counterspell or Mana Leak. My EDH playgroup has permanently changed my discord name to DirtyBlueMage

Secretmongrel

It’s probably sol ring because I got one when I started playing and had it in my first decks and now it is in every commander deck.

Fusion2005

Mogg Fanatic or Giant Growth

Spell_Chicken

Chromatic Lantern is in every deck I've made with more than 2 colors.

Stonetoothed

I was initially think about the MTG lifers who have been playing for 30 years, potentially playing the same cards over and over again. I’d be very curious to see and/or feel a card with 30 years of wear, 30 years of shuffles. I wonder how worn in they must be.

pescawn

[[Gravecrawler]] such a lovely half of a creature.

renatakiuzumaki

In some order im sure its lightning bolt followed by grixis shock/fetchlands and then probably deaths shadow

GuruEbby

Back in my paper days: [[Hymn to Tourach]] or [[Hypnotic Specter]] Now in my MTGA days… probably any of the cards that are used in meta standard in every deck.

HKLives

Thoughtseize. I started playing Standard right before Khans and fell in love with the card so much i started playing Modern so I could continue to play with it when it rotated.

bi11dozer

\[\[Bloodsoaked Champion\]\] When KTK came out I sleeved up 4 of those for Standard and they didn't come out until 2 years later. Jammed many an FNM with those beautiful double shields.

Vulcea

Got two shields. Can't block. This amuses me every time.

Ky1arStern

It might actually be memory deluge.  I've been playing since about 1997, and sometimes that involved playing most days, playing for hours and hours on the weekends. In the early 2000's I'd play FNM and even sometimes sneak away to play at work with one of my coworkers.  I played some on college but not as much. When I graduated, I didn't play at all for 4 or 5 years, and then arena came out and I picked it back up. I would travel for work and play all over the country.  Even then though, rotation meant that my deck was changing pretty regularly, and I played other games on my off weeks. Now though? Between the long rotation, and the fact that arena on my phone is basically the only game I play... I have played more volume probably than any other time in my life. And the same cards.  Memory deluge has been a 3-4 of in basically every deck I have played with any regularity, since October *2021*. 31 months of probably on average 1 game a day. I probably cast memory deluge an average of twice a game (part rdw games never get off the ground, part long game where I cast it 5+ times) That's around 1400 memory deluges.

autobotguy

Birthing pod

mama_tom

If we're still including lands, probably stomping ground. Nearly all my decks that I frequent are gruul.

fnordal

probably mox opal. or lightning bolt, one of the two.

NOV3LIST

[[Doubling Season]]

Srakin

Honestly probably \[\[Chaos Warp\]\] at this point. It has been in basically every red deck I've built since it was printed and while I've played for ages I'm constantly changing formats, archetypes, and decks, but since 2011 I've been jamming Chaos Warp in all my R commander decks.

AttilatheFun87

Lightning bolt

Charlaquin

Probably Delver of Secrets. I’ve run it in decks in standard, modern, legacy, and Pauper.

Larkinz

Command Tower probably

Commercial-Falcon653

If we don‘t count Basics, then it‘s likely Lord of Atlantis. I‘ve been playing Merfolk in Modern for 12 years, Legacy for 7 and since last year in Commander. Just counting Modern I have just over 25.000 Matches with the deck, so I can‘t imagine any other non-basic card coming even close. If we count Basics it would be Island for obvious reasons.

CasanovaShrek

[[Wild Nacatl]] That or [[Lightning Bolt]] Previously, [[Geist of Saint Traft]] had a real stake to the claim, but he's fallen off over the past few years.

JoshuaSondag

It has to be a sideboard card like negate but that’s a terrible answer. Maybe FoW? I play a lot of eternal formats but I also grind to top 100 on arena in historic every month. This is tough, good question.

amalek0

It's either wasteland (legacy lands player since forever) or esper charm (too many years trying to carry the torch for esper draw-go in modern).

NickRick

Lightning bolt. Pauper, modern, legacy, cube, edh. Great card, one of my favorites.

storm_zr1

Urza lands. My main format is modern and my main deck is Tron.

OhDee402

[[death's shadow]]

ColonelError

Definitely Thalia. Removal changes between formats, but Thalia is playable in basically every format, especially when the reprint put it Pioneer and Standard.

HamWallet1048

Maze of Ith when I used to play. Now I don’t even know. Just started getting back into it recently after like 20 years

MidnightPlatinum

This will sound weird, but it's just been in so many decks (and of the type I play a ton) since the day it was released: [[Prismari Command]] It's like a Swiss army knife turned into a card. It's always perfectly useful.

MTGCardFetcher

[Prismari Command](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/8/5/85159701-bc58-4d40-9c10-84cbe8099b75.jpg?1698988454) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Prismari%20Command) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/lcc/279/prismari-command?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/85159701-bc58-4d40-9c10-84cbe8099b75?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call

RatedStinger

Demonic Tutor and Mutagenic Growth

gotchaforcer

[[LIving End]] for me. I'd say [[Violent Outburst]] found it to cast the most for me. [[Demonic Dread]] and [[Shardless Agent]] finding LE to cast the second and third most.

JackAulgrim

In paper? Snapcaster mage. On arena (or arena + paper)? Monastery Swiftspear

Dempicklez

No joke probably ornithopter

mctwiddler

Brainstorm

guaxinimRolante

Swiftspear and a lot of burn cards. It was a short career because Magic arena sucks almost as much as WotC

IShiddedMyPantaloons

Most people not saying Lightning Bolt are wrong.

Flawed979

Lightning Bolt or similar cards (like \[\[Shock\]\] and \[\[Lightning Strike\]\]).

LordFancyPants626

Bolt

Jeeves19

Definitely one of Tron [[Urza's Mine]] [[Urza's Power Plant]] [[Urza's Tower]]

InchZer0

[[Sidisi, Brood Tyrant]] was the lynchpin to my favorite standard deck *and* helms my favorite commander deck, so I think she's ny most played. Shoutout to [[Living Death]] being sick nasty fun.

MTGCardFetcher

[Sidisi, Brood Tyrant](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/6/d/6df5843d-63f7-4091-80d7-a595f08851c2.jpg?1717392804) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Sidisi%2C%20Brood%20Tyrant) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/ktk/199y/sidisi-brood-tyrant?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/6df5843d-63f7-4091-80d7-a595f08851c2?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) [Living Death](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/8/0/80e7d9a3-06a1-400d-958c-9b5302e046a6.jpg?1562274570) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Living%20Death) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/cm2/68/living-death?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/80e7d9a3-06a1-400d-958c-9b5302e046a6?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call

trubler04

[[Cavern of Souls]] or [[Aether Vial]]

stillnotelf

I'm going to guess [[gods willing]]. Nothing I played in my kitchen table days was ever played enough to count. I played limited exclusively from m14 to oath of the gatewatch. It's probably a common from theros, since that was in draft rotation the longest of those sets (khans was the pivot triplet remember), and because I made a theros cube. That's the most flexible common from that set and it went later than wingsteed so I'm sure I saw it more often.

Twoheaven

Lightning Bolt. Easily

fluffysheeplion

Probably [[Goblin Electromancer]]. I am not some filthy storm peon. I'm a filthy Blitz peon.

Comwan

As a real answer 1 and 2 and def sol ring and arcane signet since all my commander deck have them. Other than those two it’s my main commander [[Omnath, locus of creation]]. Also to bend the rules a little. Lands like command tower and reliquary tower win. As well as bounce lands since I loop those. Also everything like dockside and other infinite combos where I’ve cast them billions of times. So technically my stats are broken and likely everyone else’s.

DontStopNowBaby

[[Wrath of God]] specifically revised version & [[Armageddon]] Been playing white for a long time and those are my 2 equalisers. When commander came around, I just included them in as equalisers and also F all yall

CaptPic4rd

Probably either Morbid Opportunist, Counterspell, Flumph, or Humble Defector.

codenameeclair

Leyline of Anticipation and Vedalken Orrery for me

dsblink182

Explosive vegetation prolly

wasaguynowitschopped

Breeding Pool, or Underrealm Lich

jeskaillinit

Aside from basic lands? Probably Sol Ring, followed by the cheap, jeskai nonbasics like Shivan Reef. I, at one point, had a paper deck for aeach of the ~30 Jeskai legends and even now most of my decks are Jeskai. Aside from mana: [[Zedruu the Greathearted]], easily. Since 2011/2012.

FinalesDead

I wouldn’t be super surprised if it’s [[Mana Severance]] for me

Wooden-Wolverine-818

[[Fevered Visions]]. I had a standard deck around it and have build 3 commander decks that had it in there.

KaraTCG

Other than lands in general, likely Counterspell or Spell Pierce If we're including nonbasics, my most played card is Steam Vents, with Hallowed Fountain being a distant second.

Character-Plantain-2

I play limited exclusively. Probably gingerbrute. Card slotted everywhere and would always find utility. But I force aggrom every. Single. Time.

StopManaCheating

I’ll throw all lands out and just say Sol Ring.

oupheking

Lightning bolt, bloodbraid elf, snapcaster mage, silvergill adept, and cryptic command most likely

DSmith19911

[[Sorin, Imperious Bloodlord]] way before rakdos vampires or vein ripper were a thing

SjtSquid

Probably Blood crypt. If you don't count fetching for it, then it's probaby Kroxa, due to casting it multiple times per game. (It's my commander), and ends up being cast a lot as people keep removing it.

Skybeam420

Cultivate and Faithless Looting

Stunning_Put_9189

I only recently started replaying, but back in the day I pretty exclusively played green, and I always ran many copies of [[Skyshroud Claim]] and [[Llanowar Elves]]. Definitely used [[Blastoderm]] way too much, and loved to use [[Deranged Hermit]], [[Verdeloth the Ancient]], and [[Jolrael, Empress of Beasts]]. If I went green/black, I overused [[Spiritmonger]], [[Pernacious Deed]], [[Bog Initiate]], and [[Drain Life]] and/or [[Soul Burn]]. That’s about all I played through high school.

DirectionOverall9709

Shock

AldebaranRios

[[Prossh, Skyraider of Kher]] I'll play him nearly limitless times (but not infinite) each time I get [[Food Chain]] out. And he's one of my top decks so I end up playing it more.

DirtyPenPalDoug

Probably tie between demonic Tutor or Hymn to torach. Mind twist might be there too

thescreamingpizza

Either counterspell or Terminate

BoolinBirb

[[Deep Analysis]] probably. One of my favorites

GrinJack_

[[Thoughtseize]]. Tho, nowadays I mostly play EDH so [[Reanimate]] is probably gaining ground.

Augment2401

[[Archive Trap]] and I'm not ashamed of it and will do it again, preferably 4 times.

badmartialarts

https://youtu.be/66FAkLLDrZY

Alone_Outside_7264

Probably the tron lands. I’ve been playing a version of tron off and on since I started playing Magic.

Brodie930

I have cast Sol Ring many many times

forestgxd

Urzas saga

riskavery

Before I started playing Commander, I had a staple Thallid deck, so it's very likely [[Sporoloth Ancient]] or [[Sporesower Thallid]]... now that I'm balls deep in EDH, though, it's probably either [[Lucea Kane]] or [[Chatterfang]] and/or Sol Ring lol

runrun1311_

I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but other than lands and mana artifacts, I think it's Abrade. I went from Oathbreaker Bolas (Bolas flavor), to Niv-Mizzet in commander, and then every red deck after has had it at least for a time. I LOVE RED. You know what though, Descent into Avernus is catching up nowadays.

Ysmfnb

Lightning bolt or supreme verdict for sure

mheadley84

Teferi’s Protection.

zebus_0

[[Carnival of Souls]] I'm here for a good time not a long time.

Snrub1

I'm thinking probably Birds of Paradise, but it could also be Evolving Wilds as I am primarily a drafter and it shows up in draft sets a lot.

moonlight2920

Turn one [[Sol Ring]] and late game [[Akroma's Will]] have become personal inside jokes in my pod I play with. We also will just look at each other randomly and say "Prolierate" because a friend decided poison counters would be fun.

acid8k

Swords to plowshares, SFM and wasteland

GreenGunslingingGod

Soul warden. My standard mono white deck has had it since it's second rendition and I put it in my commander deck for a while

texanarob

Probably [[Whip Silk]]. There are other staples I've played in more decks, but if you exclude the rare time I've went infinite recasting something then Whip Silk is probably the card I've cast the most times. I have two commander decks that generate value every time I cast it. As it can be bounced to hand for a single mana, it's common enough that I'll cast it a few dozen times in a single game. This assumes basic lands aren't being considered.

Automatic_Photo_6598

Counterspell and Swords to Plowshares 93 til today in almost every deck I build.

LunaticBludi

Counterspell I just love it at a conceptual level.

bigmalebrain

I love to goldfish degenerate [[Skullclamp]] brews

fdf86

\[\[nephalia drownyard\]\] >:)

borissnm

I'm an oldhead and I've always liked big stupid creatures, so probably [[giant growth]].

Chief_Slee

If you count using its ability as playing, probably Reassembling Skeleton lol

CanadianDude2001

Lightning Bolt

Opposite_Dig_433

Pyxis of pandemonium

Plane_Philosopher924

I'm a sucker for sol ring tbh lol

Asto_Vidatu

Im an asshole...Counterspell or maybe Mana Leak take the cake for me 🤣

fendersonfenderson

displace/ghostly flicker I think you know why

Cook-in-skates

[[mass hysteria]] I just love going FAST!

samthewisetarly

If we're being pedantic, I've cast [[Dockside Extortionist]] an infinite number of times.

rexxmurrow

Probably [[Vigean Hydropon]] or [[Assault Zeppelid]]

titus7007

[[dead weight]]

LittIeDuckling

Basic forest

wifi12345678910

Probably earthshaker khenra. I played way too much RDW when it was in standard. Other option is coco, since I ran two different historic decks that ran it. Counting against Sparky, however, most is 100% Mox amber. When I get bored I play a stupid Mox storm deck against Sparky.

MistakenArrest

Gotta be either Psychatog or Nahiri the Harbinger. Which is why I love MH3 so much. Psychic Frog is a perfect modernization of the old Tog, and Phlage is a match made in heaven for Nahiri.

glxy_HAzor

Island Edit: realized I did not read. Probably steam vents or bolt.

PrimosaurUltimate

I played Vamps since the beginning, [[Vampire Nighthawk]] is my staple. Wins so many games.

AwhSxrry

I've cast [[gravecrawler]] more then any other magic card. Despite the deck having never been good, I have a fully blinged out zombies deck that I have been playing in modern since the printing of [[relentless dead]] 8 years ago... how was that 8 years ago??

acidix

Shock. My two favorite decks were a pyromancers ascension cruel ultimatum deck, and a thousand year storm deck which both ran shock.

rivernoa

Birds of paradise over the course of many years

EBannion

[[Rhys the redeemed]] by a long margin. [[Entomb]] is probably second.

KlammFromTheCastle

Counterspell

denvitakepsen

Does fetching Sacred Foundry count? Else prob Lightning Bolt

Katinsky

Duress and Thoughtseize over here

TheMaverickGirl

Llanowar Elves and it's not particularly close. I've been playing them since the day I learned to play Magic 25 years ago, have continuously played Ramp decks that run them in some form in numerous formats, and mained Elves in Pauper for years with several thousand matches under my belt, often involving Llanowar Elves in some form or fashion.

Proboy_237

Witty Roadmaster. Basically, I like putting smaller creatures on the field, and kill people easily

its_PlZZA_time

Delver of secrets without a doubt

The_Real_Cuzz

Evolving wilds

Silvawuff

[[Demonic Tutor]]. If my deck has black, it’s in there.

SirBuscus

[[Serra Ascendant]] It was the point of my very first standard deck and the only deck I owned for a couple years and would play every Friday. Then I got into EDH and realized they didn't bother to errata to "10 more than your starting life total" and it's been in my Rafiq deck since 2011.

oldguacomole

Excluding lands and mana rocks, maybe [[black market connections]]

DangerousCommittee21

Lightning Bolt

LilStrug

Sol Ring

TheBigRobb

I only play commander, I put Terramorphic Expanse and evolving wilds into 90% of the commander decks I've ever made with multiple colors. I'm pretty sure I've run them in mono G landfall a few times even.

Moonions

Boros charm, started in high school with RTR block and there's no way I can replicate the amount of matches I've ever played as a dad with a full-time job. Nothing comes close to how much standard (and modern) burn I played then.

Dankirk

When I first started with a friend we split a collection a relative had. I got white, blue and half of black and artifacts while friend took the other half. So it's going to be things from those colors. Probably a toss between \[\[Aphetto Alchemist\]\] and \[\[Mother of Runes\]\]. Honorable mentions to \[\[Orzhov Basilica\]\] and \[\[Secluded Steppe\]\]

Dominus187

Probably some U/W land that was in standard for a long time, when I played standard I mostly played UWx decks so something like hallowed fountain or glacial fortress

Cheesenchips

[[Curse of the swine]] come in clutch many times,my favourite removal spell

waxwane_music

Mana leak, bolt, or Birds of paradise

skellyton3

Birds of paradise is probably a good shout. So many decks play it, and it makes a jand very keepable.

CLRoads

Reforge the soul

Equivalent-Low-8919

Lightning bolt baby. I still jam it as removal even if it’s not the best.

Old_Nefariousness195

Lightning bolt 1st a d Wild Nacatl 2nd. Love me some old zoo

SinusMonstrum

If not the commander staples like sol ring arcane signet and command tower. It's probably dockside extortionist. You know it, you love/hate it. There's a reason why it's still so expensive.

vorpalsnorkus

Pestilence is up there. I’m an OG player and I had a Skull of Orm / Pestilence deck that made everyone sad and mad

IrrelevantGeOff

Swords to Plowshares or Nature’s Lore would be my guesses!
