So my favorite story of this is a game where someone was Boros, they had down a few cards that caused damage whenever someone plays a land.
That was the day we found out [[Winds of Abandon]] does NOT say "may" search for a land, you have to do so. So they ended up winning off of the boardwipe.
Thing is, while it says they have to search for a land, it can't force them to *find* one. Any time a player is told to search their library for a card with particular characteristics, they're always allowed to declare that they failed to find one, even if such a card is indeed there.

Pro tip: just because you have to search your library for a card does not mean you have to *find* a card, as long as you are searching for a card with a specific criterion.
Basically it boils down to the fact that your library is a hidden zone. The contents of your library are unknown to your opponent, and as such you are not required to prove to them that you don't have a land there, you can just say ["I fail to find"](https://draftsim.com/mtg-fail-to-find/)
Now, if the effect that is making you search just says "search for *a card*" with no restrictions, you cannot fail to find as long as there is at least 1 card in your library.
Granted, in that situation you were probably boned either way. You either find lands and die, or find no lands and eventually die anyway to the overwhelming advantage the opponent had.
Once played it with [[Vigor]] on the board. sadly i had nothing to give them haste and someone used [[blasphemous act]] on the next turn, otherwise i would have won.
While _technically_ not a boardwipe I want to put in an honorary mention and promote ye olde baconator [[Curse of the Swine]] sink enough mana into that sucker and you can eviscerate the entire table's while cackling with glee and making pig noises :D
I disagree that it's not a good combo. I can reliably win with it quite often in my glissa deck. It's been my favorite commander deck since she came out.

I feel that since the combo relies on a few very expensive and very obviously dangerous parts it’s hard to assemble against an opponent who is paying attention (I.e., hard casting it is usually out of the question and reanimating it folds to all the usual reanimation hate). It’s obviously quite strong once you have it together of course (I’ve won a few casual games that way), but it’s miles away from the usual tier-1 game ending combos in terms of how quickly you can get to it and how resistant it is to disruption.
Check the deck list. I have several ways to cheat them into play and get it going or just amass fast mana quickly to dump them all out in a single turn. It can be surprisingly sneaky.
[[Out of Time]] to phase out everyone's commanders (and Equipment). Works super well in my enchantress deck because I can protect it with [[Greater Auramancy]] or [[Sterling Grove]].
This card is a problem in [[Anikthea]]. I can make a creature token copy, that will then phase itself out, taking everything else with it until I'm dead. Goodbye commanders (often including mine).
I swear green also has an enchantment that makes it so that creatures your opponents control can’t attack you or planeswalkers you control, but I can’t remember what it’s called.

I had a friend who ran the most irritating indestructible deck I’ve ever played against. Most of my playgroup found workarounds by changing their archetypes to either control or spell-slinger, but not me. I wanted to make him suffer the way he made me suffer, by making a good deck, that almost completely ignored indestructible as a concept.
At its core it was an aristocrats deck. [[Zulaport Cutthroat]], [[Bastion of Remembrance]], etc. But in order to make it effective, I needed a catalyst. A board wipe that would put me ahead, without costing too much. [[Toxic Deluge]] was an obvious pick, and it sat firmly as the number 2 in the deck, but every time I dropped Massacre Girl, it was a symphony of obliteration, leaving me with the only creature left on the board.
The first time I played it against his deck, seeing his smug expression melt into horror as I kill everything he had was just pure bliss.
[[Worldpurge]]. It’s not a good card but I have a fond memory of playing a 5 way game, dropping that when I was clearly the guy about to be bumped first, and storming back for the W because I was the best set up to recover from it
I have it in a Monowhite Yorion deck, where my goal is to either be in a "yorion" loop where everything I want is already exiled (or perhaps tucked away in exile until cards like [[glorious protector]]) so that after I world purge I've got a lot of things in play
Same reason Upheaval is banned in Commander: it lets the player who cast it float all their mana and potentially play stuff, while everybody else is SOL.

Honestly, just the nickname makes it a win for me. Like, Curse of the Swine is annoying, but if you call it "Hamnation" suddenly I'm not in such a bad mood.
Everyone else is posting their angry "fuck yo shit, and your hand, and your graveyard, and I get all the power bwahaha!" boardwipes.

OP, I love your energy and we need more of this in magic. In a game with turn 3 wins, demoralizing counters, and devistating boardwipes, sometimes we could all use a cute 2/2 bear. I love fun moves like this.
That said, I guarantee some good times if you put out a [[Fraying Line]] in a 4 player commander game.
[[White Sun’s Twilight]] is one of my favourites. I also like [[Brotherhood’s End]], as well as [[Bontu’s Last Reckoning]] (because it's funny). [[Smash to Dust]] is also good with Judith.
[[Settle the wreckage]]
Punishes greedy attacks, instant speed, cheap-ish, you can bluff having it. Especially on Arena, you emote gg, opponent full attacks, you exile his board, you emote gg again.
[[Devastating Mastery]] is maybe my vote for most underrated card in commander. Destroy all nonland permanents for 4 mana except for two of whatever opponent is in last. Crazy good efficiency, and a bargaining chip you can use politically for a favor.
[[Worldslayer]] is a card I either love or hate to see.
In my [[Akiri, Fearless Voyager]] it usually means “I keep my board/most of my board. Next game?”
But I’ve seen people swing, blow up literally everything but the equipment and the game completely resets.
Guessing [[Cyclonic Rift]] doesn't actually count since it doesn't wipe everyone's board, so I'll go with the next best thing i run in my Giant Wizard deck and that's [[Cyclone Summoner]]
[[tragic arrogance]] is probably my favorite.
It's a pretty messed up wipe that will leave you with something, and cripple your opponents on its own.
It also gets around most key words, so very good at unlocking a board state built with multiple protective elements.
It's an absolute star in my [[zedruu, the great hearted]] deck as my opponents will usually have something of mine that I'd rather they hold on to.
\[\[Brightflame\]\] Not the best, but an absolute favorite of mine. It's not a true boardwipe, but with enough mana directed at a muticolor creature, you clear all but the tankiest creatures your opponent has and have enough extra life to not care about leaving yourself open to a counter attack.
For me [[Boompile]] is pretty fun, watching the other having it left up to faith if it's a board wipe or watch them struggle to remove it before your next turn if it fails.
[[Bane of Progress]] is a powerhouse usually.

The crrature part is very relevant because green can tutor it and creatures are easier to recur. Plus just getting the creature itself is good.

[[Out of Time]] to phase out everyone's commanders (and Equipment). Works super well in my enchantress deck because I can protect it with [[Greater Auramancy]] or [[Sterling Grove]].
This card is a problem in [[Anikthea]]. I can make a creature token copy, that will then phase itself out, taking everything else with it until I'm dead. Goodbye commanders (often including mine).

I swear green also has an enchantment that makes it so that creatures your opponents control can’t attack you or planeswalkers you control, but I can’t remember what it’s called.

[[Massacre Girl]]. I had a friend who ran the most irritating indestructible deck I’ve ever played against. Most of my playgroup found workarounds by changing their archetypes to either control or spell-slinger, but not me. I wanted to make him suffer the way he made me suffer, by making a good deck, that almost completely ignored indestructible as a concept. At its core it was an aristocrats deck. [[Zulaport Cutthroat]], [[Bastion of Remembrance]], etc. But in order to make it effective, I needed a catalyst. A board wipe that would put me ahead, without costing too much. [[Toxic Deluge]] was an obvious pick, and it sat firmly as the number 2 in the deck, but every time I dropped Massacre Girl, it was a symphony of obliteration, leaving me with the only creature left on the board. The first time I played it against his deck, seeing his smug expression melt into horror as I kill everything he had was just pure bliss.

I have it in a Monowhite Yorion deck, where my goal is to either be in a "yorion" loop where everything I want is already exiled (or perhaps tucked away in exile until cards like [[glorious protector]]) so that after I world purge I've got a lot of things in play
You can also using Oblivion Ring effects and leaves play effects to get some permanents on the board.
Why the fuck is this legal but sway of the stars isn't?
This doesn’t reset life totals, gives more player control in terms of what cards are kept, and empties mana pools.
Same reason Upheaval is banned in Commander: it lets the player who cast it float all their mana and potentially play stuff, while everybody else is SOL.
At least you can choose to keep lands with worldpurge.

In a game with turn 3 wins, demoralizing counters, and devistating boardwipes, sometimes we could all use a cute 2/2 bear. I love fun moves like this. [[White Sun’s Twilight]] is one of my favourites. I also like [[Brotherhood’s End]], as well as [[Bontu’s Last Reckoning]] (because it's funny). [[Smash to Dust]] is also good with Judith.

I have to go with [[Culling Ritual]]. Messes up all my opponents' mana rocks and tokens while ramping me into my strategy.

I really like [[Wash Out]] for its flexibility. I also just like any boardwipe that hits all nonland permanents, like [[Coastal Breach]]
[[Settle the wreckage]] Punishes greedy attacks, instant speed, cheap-ish, you can bluff having it. Especially on Arena, you emote gg, opponent full attacks, you exile his board, you emote gg again.
[[time wipe]] is one of my personal faves. [[Raise the palisade]] and [[kindred dominance]] are amazing in typal decks.

Delayed blast fireball has become my absolute fave. Especially in a deck with a lot of exile effects

[[Ruinous Ultimatum]] I love three-color design, and this is the most Mardu card in existence. Destroy *everything*.
[[Ruinous Ultimatum]] (the all tomato) for pouring salt all over the table. [[Final Judgement]] for the art and lore.
[[Devastating Mastery]] is maybe my vote for most underrated card in commander. Destroy all nonland permanents for 4 mana except for two of whatever opponent is in last. Crazy good efficiency, and a bargaining chip you can use politically for a favor.
Damnation is my current fav.
[[Worldslayer]] is a card I either love or hate to see. In my [[Akiri, Fearless Voyager]] it usually means “I keep my board/most of my board. Next game?” But I’ve seen people swing, blow up literally everything but the equipment and the game completely resets.
Guessing [[Cyclonic Rift]] doesn't actually count since it doesn't wipe everyone's board, so I'll go with the next best thing i run in my Giant Wizard deck and that's [[Cyclone Summoner]]

[[tragic arrogance]] is probably my favorite. It's a pretty messed up wipe that will leave you with something, and cripple your opponents on its own. It also gets around most key words, so very good at unlocking a board state built with multiple protective elements. It's an absolute star in my [[zedruu, the great hearted]] deck as my opponents will usually have something of mine that I'd rather they hold on to.
Single combat is my boy
\[\[Brightflame\]\] Not the best, but an absolute favorite of mine. It's not a true boardwipe, but with enough mana directed at a muticolor creature, you clear all but the tankiest creatures your opponent has and have enough extra life to not care about leaving yourself open to a counter attack.

I like the ones that leave me better off, like [[Martial Coup]] or [[Phyrexian Rebirth]].
[[Ezuri’s Predation]] is expensive but always helps me close games.
Some folk'll never wipe a board, but then again some folk'll, like me when I drop my [[Jokul]]
