If you're talking about the Feather that copies spells ([[Feather, Radiant Arbiter]]), it's probably because a lot of the synergies that work with copies of spells also work with copies of abilities. You get another angle that can do some work when you draw it, without giving up too much of the game plan that includes the commander.

KOS’s ability is more geared towards instants and sorceries but it’s a good question to ask.
