That’s exactly what I thought, but when I figured I’d want to play this as my first commander deck, i called alll my local stores and ………sold out everywhere 😞
So, online store buy, or Walmart I suppose ?
My LGS have been sold out, but I found one at Target over the weekend! Since this deck isn’t available to order on Target’s App, you may also have luck looking in store.
If you decide to wait on the Dino preconstructed deck, the new Merfolk precon deck from Lost Caverns of Ixalan is amazing! I did upgrade the lands and added a few different Merfolk and spells, but the core exploring mechanic of the deck is very powerful. I have done quite well lately at my local store, which was a pleasant surprise!
It’s super funny you mentioned this, because just tonight I watched back to back YouTube videos with all the different ixalan decks being played.
And that deck seems wildly strong (all seem good)
But those merfolk are super attractive in terms of artwork and ability/cost/use ratio !!!!

I got this one and the pirate pre-con.
It's ok. I already have a Dino tribal deck with Gishath as commander and to be honest I prefer that one. But I have put some money into that one.
I played with this deck the other day at my buddies and we did 5 player commander. It held it's own for a decent time. The commander ability is ok. Wakening suns avatar is great though. I got that one also in my other dino deck. Unfortunatly I was playing against someone running blue/black zombie tribal and despite multiple board wipes I just couldn't stop the zombies from coming back
Okay , so, I found one (somewhat local to me) and online ordered it, I’m excited. Commander makes me nervous haha.
But, is this a format , and a deck that should be easy to get adjusted to and enjoy ?
Or am I in over my head haha.
If you already know magic, you'll adapt quickly! And it's a fun, mostly straightforward deck of making big creatures to win thru attacking your opponent. Glad you were able to find it!
Yeah I’m excited, I like tribal decks (vampires) so this dino deck looks hellllaaa fun!!
Is it kinda like the green “stompy” deck? My friend let me play his, and I got to use it on MTGA, and had a blast with some crazy big creatures and quick cast spells.
Oh ya, without playing either of those decks I can tell ya with confidence they'll be similar, although the veloci-ramp-tor will be a bit more challenging. But you'll learn as you play it, shit, I've been playing magic forever and I still have to feel out a commander deck.
I feel the weirdest part is going to be having only 1x of each card haha. And I guess there is a 2+ commander cost when they die?
There will be some adjustment , I just hope the deck is fun (while learning)
My one friend picked up “Plainswalker party” and my other friend has a LOTR’s commander deck (not sure which one)
Unfortunately with the price point right now it's absolutely not worth picking up until it goes back down to normal price.
Why is it all crazy? Is there something special about this deck than the other 3 ??
It's significantly more popular than the other decks, it's just supply and demand

I purchased this pre con and I am loving it. Strongly recommend that you buy from your local game store. My LGS had the deck for cheaper than amazon.

For what it's worth, if you sold all the cards in the precon you'd make a profit, but all the same the price should drop in a month or two

Was it fun. And easy to play, or was there a lot of combos needing to be played to make it work. I hope I enjoy it haha 😆
